Today we released a minor update in which we paid special attention to the game's performance during massive and dynamic PVP battles. However, these improvements affect not only PVP but the entire gameplay in general. We reached about 10-15% increased performance during the capturing roadblocks, depending on the situation and the hardware the game client is running on.
This version has the following improvements:
- Some objects in the "Canyon" that negatively affected the frame time in the base area were optimized; - Optimized the animation of the characters from the third person. Now, at medium and long distances, character animations have become somewhat “simplified”. This should reduce the load on the system with a large number of players without losing the quality of the gameplay; - A slight optimization of the material of the protective dome at roadblocks; - NPC and monster animations have been optimized similarly to character animations, only in this case we used a more aggressive animation simplification mechanism; - Displaying of the received damage indicator has been accelerated. Now, even with a very frequent display of this indicator, there is no performance reduction; - Fixed bugs in the design of the location "Canyon"; - The sound of the "Graviconcentrate" anomaly has become more pronounced and noticeable; - Added 10 new compositions of the "Radiant" band on the radio in the game.
Today the game has been updated to version 0.57.2, which includes the following changes:
- Redesigned command core hacking interface at outposts in the Canyon and Testing Ground locations. The new hacking mechanism now will require players not only to react but also to have a certain ingenuity, since for a successful hacking you will have to play a mini-game. In future updates, similar mini-games will be applied to other game mechanics; - Fixed a long-standing issue in the server code that caused weapon "durability" modifications to change the weapon's stats, but the modified stats were not actually used in the calculations. Now everything works as expected, so you should expect the actual durability reduction of weapons that have been modified for damage; - Changed the mechanics of weapon modifiers: now the damage modification works not exactly at 10%, but in the range of 10-12%, which will allow players to create more unique weapons; - Fixed problems with some loot for NPC bandits; - Fixed bugs in the design of the "Testing Ground" location; - Fixed problems with the spawn point of cave spiders in the location "Coast"; - Fixed problems with incorrect volume and fading sound of MSR-12 shots; - Fixed a problem with the lack of reloading sound for Glock 17, GSH-18, Springfield 1911, Coyote, rifles "Fox" and "Mosin"; - Fixed bugs in the design of the "Spider Cave" location; - Changed the visual effect when receiving a significant dose of radiation; - Changed the visual effect of alcohol poisoning. Halloween Event
Mr. NukePumpkin has reappeared in the game and he has favorite gifts for you all! The beloved Hellbike moped has received new visual effects, and now it leaves a fiery trail when riding.
As before, to receive gifts from Mr. NukePumpkin, you must collect and exchange gift cards. For exchange, you will have access to the “Pumpkin” and “Toxic Pumpkin” masks, a unique moped “Hellbike”, as well as “Zombie Paint” cans to paint ANY of your weapons!
Cards can be obtained absolutely everywhere: by killing monsters, completing tasks and events, extracting resources, and searching boxes. Cards can be collected immediately after the update's release and until 11/10/2022 00:00 UTC.
For those who do not have the opportunity, time, or desire to collect cards, in the in-game store during the entire event there is an opportunity to buy the “Skull” mask, the Devil’s Helmet, the “Zombie” paint, as well as weapons in the Halloween skin and also Hellbike.
All items will be available for sale immediately after the update, but for a limited time. Items will disappear from the store after the event ends.
According to tradition, after the end of the event, all cards and Mr. NukePumpkin himself will disappear. All gifts received from Mr. NukePumpkin will remain with you (including purchased items).
AMD FidelityFX™ Super Resolution 2.1 (FSR 2.1) support
Support for AMD FSR 2.1 technology improves game performance on supported AMD and NVIDIA graphics cards through spatial scaling algorithms when enabled.
This technology will primarily be useful to owners of low-performance systems, since the increase in performance comes at the expense of some reduction in image quality, depending on the settings you choose. In general, with a slight reduction in image quality in specific scenes, you can get up to 20-30% additional performance, depending on the settings. Options for configuring AMD FSR technology are available in the game's settings menu, in the "Graphics" section.
It is worth noting, that due to the specificity of the AMD FSR algorithms, some slight visual distortions may be observed: this is a normal phenomenon and does not have a significant effect on the picture as a whole.
Other changes
- The “Giant Fleasheater” event in the “Korovie” location is now configured for players up to the 25th level. The higher the level of the character from this value, the less damage this player will deal. In other words, it will be extremely difficult for 50th-level players to complete this event. On the other hand, thanks to this, mid-level players will be able to receive their experience and rewards, since it has become unprofitable for high-level players to complete this event; - A can of Lizard paint has been added to the in-game store. It can be applied to weapons that exist in the Lizard skin, including weapons that have been created (crafted). After using this can, the weapon will be transformed into the weapon in the Lizard skin, but all modifications will be saved. Weapons painted with this paint can be placed in the account inventory. See the description to check a complete list of weapons that can be painted with this spray can; - Fixed an issue that allowed shooting in the safe zone in some rare cases; - Fixed an issue due to which the character's actions were blocked if using a quick grenade throw while running; - Fixed a visual bug when the discarded weapon continued to be displayed in the hands; - Fixed an issue where hairs of Type 13 head were visible through a HI-TECH helmet as well as other helmets when riding a moped; - Fixed an issue due to which the character's neck was displayed incorrectly after changing the gender of the character; - Fixed an issue where weapons would not reduce the condition if the weapon's magazine was not fully depleted; - We fixed an issue where graphics settings were applied incorrectly when moving between locations. - Fixed an issue that caused the glare to not work when using optical sights; - Removed the ability to purchase 10 credits in the in-game store; - Improved the design of the Forest Tale location. The "Quench the thirst with gasoline" event has already begun, and with it, update 0.57 is available for download! In this update, you will face a powerful new boss that can be encountered in several locations at the same time during the event! Also, we've made a large number of changes and improvements, and added new quests and objects in locations!
The "Quench the thirst with gasoline" event
A new NPC has appeared in the locations - Biker. He is an old friend of Grisha "Mazuta". Like Grisha, he loves motorcycles. But if Grisha is “for practicality”, then his friend prefers beauty and aesthetics. Therefore, he has valuable goods for the locals: a new stylish motorcycle and new bikers' equipment. You can get them if you bring what he needs - chrome bolts.
Along with the new NPC, a new threat has appeared in the locations "Coast", "Korovie", "Eastern Territories" and "Swamps": the cybernetic wolf (drone). You can only meet it at night. This drone is an experimental development by WSC that was not completed on time. In particular, the system for determining the threat and targets was not correctly configured. Due to a misconfiguration, this drone destroys living targets within range and also uses the ability to call for backup.
Depending on the battle stage, the cybernetic wolf calls other drones to help him and opens up new attacks. We also tried to adjust the mechanics of the event in such a way as to maximize the usability of all the strengths of the character classes. Thus, for example, damage to the main character of the event will be dealt with at a greater distance, and characters of the "Hunter" class will be able to deal more damage to flying targets and other assistants. In addition, all the goals that participate in the event are counted when issuing a reward for completing the event, and the process of issuing a reward works even for those characters who are not currently in the event zone but took an active part in it.
By defeating the cybernetic wolf, you will be able to get the most precious chrome bolts, which can be exchanged for event items. However, chrome bolts can also be obtained in another way: by completing quests, searching crates, and so on.
Event Rewards
After collecting the required number of bolts, you can get a new transport - Scrambler. It is significantly faster than a moped and also has better handling. Its tank holds more gasoline, however, and its fuel consumption is higher.
You can also get a set of biker clothes - a helmet, vest, and jeans. The vest is presented in four colors to choose from and has a feature: it hides a backpack on the back so as not to spoil the look of a stylish biker. This set has no faction requirements and is universal for all types of players and classes, as it belongs to the category of light armor, like chitin armor.
Also, for those who do not have the time, opportunity, and desire to search for chrome bolts, a scrambler and a set of clothes can be purchased in the in-game store.
The event will last from August 17 to September 4 23:59 UTC. After the event ends, the wolf drone and chrome bolts will be removed from the game. The biker will stay for a while, so players can exchange the received bolts for prizes.
Location design improvements and new quests
In this version, we've added 12 new quests in the Korovie location, some of which can be obtained from NPCs, and some of which become available on the bulletin board as these quests are completed. Also in the location "Korovie" appeared additional objects in the direction of the abandoned laboratory. As the quests are completed, players will have access to a new way to get fuel, as well as quite a good amount of experience, which will positively affect the leveling-up of characters up to level 20.
Other changes
- Ratburger and perfect broth no longer drop out of inventory on death - Now, if the body armor has hand protection, then when it hits the hands, armor plates are no longer used for protection, only armor, and its characteristics. Armor plates, respectively, are not destroyed when shot into the hands - Now the description of body armor indicates the presence or absence of hand protection - The shooting system has been significantly redesigned. We expect that now the weapon will be more responsive, and various problems and situations when the weapon stopped shooting for some reason should be fixed (in the absence of other problems, for example, with the Internet on the user's computer). For example, a weapon will fire immediately after reloading if the fire button is held down while reloading the weapon. Also in the game settings, an option for automatic reloading has been added. In this version, you will be able to meet Timoha again in the Coast location and find out the continuation of his story. In general, 12 new quests have been added to the Coastal location.
We also did a lot of work on optimizing the game code, and we hope that in some cases this will give a performance boost.

Hello, fighters! Update 0.56.7 is available for download and contains a number of changes and improvements.
Changes in the “Canyon” location
In this version, we have made changes to the design of the Canyon location. The main building at the northern outpost has been rotated 180 degrees. This should make it more difficult for players who shoot from the mountain, as well as for those who use RPGs. It should be noted that this will not exclude the RPGs usage in principle, but in combination with correct usage of the shields, it will be more difficult to “knock out” players who are engaged in hacking the command core from the outpost. Also, in order to reduce open spaces in sector E1-7, rocks have been added.
Oh yes. As for the RPG, in this version, the projectiles can drop from the inventory when the characters die with a 50% chance, which will make it more difficult to use this weapon. After all, the projectiles now still have to try to convey.
The southern outpost got design changes. The spawn point D6-7, knowns as "rags" in the community, has been reworked.
It has been moved in a different direction and is no longer associated with spawn points in Sectors E6-6 and E7-9. Thus, an additional front line and a direction for attack or defense were added, including through “that same cave”.

“April Fools’ Day” mini-event

We've released update 0.56.6, which will launch the Lunar New Year event. Also, we've made some changes, fixes, and improvements.
“Lunar New Year” event
The Old man in the white robe has appeared in the settlements again! He again told the story that if you appease the spirits of the elements, you can get not only their good graces and patronage but also a reward!
Complete this Old man's quests to appease five Elemental Spirits and get themed weapon skins! All tasks can only be completed once. If you managed to appease at least one of the elemental spirits or you did it before, then the Old man is ready to give you one more additional reward, which was not there before!
In exchange for fillers of each of the colors, you can get a can of special paint that reacts to your weapon's shots! Also, for completing any quests in the game, you will be rewarded with holiday snacks.
Special holiday bundles have appeared in the in-game store, which contains not only snacks and paint but also a special mask for the character.
The event starts on February 1 and ends on February 16 at 00:00 UTC. The NPC will stay in the locations for a while so that everyone has time to complete the quests. All items needed to complete the Old man's quests will be removed from the game along with the end of the event.
Other changes
Faction NPC-recruiters appeared in the "Tunnels" location. Currently, these NPCs are required in order for faction players to move from the Tunnels to the Testing Grounds. We expect that the faction that does not own roadblocks in the "Canyon" location will receive additional opportunities for confrontation in the "Testing Grounds" location.
Changed the event with a giant flesh-eater in the "Coast" location. Now, this event has become a little more difficult, and the rewards have been increased in number.
