We have prepared hotfix for update 0.51. This patch fixes different issues, improves server stability and changes NPC configuration at "Swamp" location: now they don't kill "Black Sunset" players without any reason.
Moreover, we have solved some crashes and problems with quest items.
Today we prepared the long-awaited update 0.51, which contains more than 20 new different missions, new weapons, new craft and lots of other new opportunities that will be developed in future.
List of modifications
Weapons
New submachine gun SMG 90 is added. This weapon is available for engineers in Level 25.
Assault rifle Zastava M-92 is added. It is available for all the classes starting from Level 18. Compared with the rifle Marauder-7, Zastava M92 is less precise, but more destruction-packed.
Assault rifle Zastava M70 is added. This is very destruction-packed and relatively precise weapon, which will be available for «mercenary» class only, starting from Level 20. However, it has definite disadvantage: you may equip it with collimator sights and «KITE-1» optic sight only.
SPAS 12 shotgun is added. This Italian weapon is designed for miners, reached Level 23.
Special applications scoped rifle – VSS Vintorez. It’ll be available for hunters in Level 20. As distinct from AS VAL, VSS Vintorez is more precise and has magazine case for 10 rounds.
New pistol – Glock 17. This pistol will be available starting from Level 16 with possibility to equip it with silencer.
Springfield 1911 - a new pistol which uses .45 ACP rounds. This gun available for players, who reached 16th level.
New quests
In update 0.51 we added more than 20 different missions; some of them are available for faction players only.
- Advertisement board in Solnechny : 10 quests added, designed for both beginners and advanced players. There are quests available for players of Confederation only. - Advertisement board in Camp of Black Sunset: 5 quests added designed for Levels 13-20. There are quests available for players of Black Sunset only. - Quest from Scrowling is added. Quest is available starting from Level 13, but recommended level is 16th. - New series of 4 quests from Kuzmich is added. These quests are available starting from Level 14, after completion of «Lost device» quest. - New NPC is added to Zapadnaya (Western) mine, together with 2 new quests available starting from Level 13.
New armor
We prepared two new helmets for update 0.51: MICH and 6B28.
MICH will be available for players of «Black sunset», and 6B28 – for players of «Confederation».
As well, we prepared new body armor, available for players entered the faction only.
Despite the fact that new body armor is related to medium armor, any character, reached Level 27, may wear it. We will closely follow the situation with new body armors, because appearance of such all-purpose armor may amend forces posture and balance.
Rounds production
In update 0.51 we will present the new type of craft – rounds production. This process is quite complicated and laborious, and it’ll cover all the stages of round production:
- Gunpowder production; - Production of bullet and lead; - Shell production; - And, finally, production of the round itself.
All the crafted rounds will be more powerful than those sold in the shop. Thus, new rounds will make your weapon more efficient.
Stimulators production
After completion of Kuzmich’s quests, you will get the appliance and recipe for production of «Awl» stimulator. Now you are able to produce stimulator on your own, using the character’s inventory. As well, new stimulator named «Tough guy» will be available, which increases force indicator of character by 2 units. It has step-by-step effect; however, force indicator of character shall not exceed 10 units.
New monsters
Small symbiont moved in the wastelands. Stay alert!
Turrets and NPC
Unfortunately, we couldn’t get hostile NPCs done in full extent by the release of update 0.51. Nevertheless, NPC-guards will appear to help turrets in all the important points in this version. They’ll fight the peace-breakers. Probably, this solution is temporary, but it is very interesting to see, how the society responds to it, and how NPCs manage their mission. We will watch the situation, and hostile NPCs will appear in future patches in the frameworks of development of 0.51 thread.
PDA
In update 0.51 PDA got new function – possibility to maintain the list of friends and enemies. Players added to the list of enemies will be highlighted with red color, and friends – with blue one.
Clans
- We added the opportunity to appoint the clan deputy.
Balance
- Experience for killing players is increased. - Damage of SP-5 bullets is increased. - Penetrating efficiency and damage of bullets SP-6 are increased. - Experience for killing bugs is increased. - Experience for killing flame spiders is increased. - Aimcone at hip-fire is changed. - «Leshiy» quest from Kuzmich is now available starting from Level 18 instead of Level 20. - «Pioneer» rifle was moved to Level 23. - Armor of helmet SSH-40 is decreased. Helmet is moved to Level 18. - Wolf-357 now requires 18th level.
Models
- Model of Shpagin SMG-41 is improved. - Quality of male characters models was improved. Now hairdo of male characters looks well-worked, and selection of hair color works more properly.
New loot
Now you may find batteries in abandoned vehicles and buildings; you may get lead from batteries. To get the lead, you shall apply hammer to icon of battery in the inventory.
Bugfixes
- Problems with character customization are solved. - Problems with some crashes of game client are solved.
Other - Brightness of the red dot sights was reduced. - Added NVIDIA Highlights support.
Hi everyone! Today we would like to share one more piece of information about upcoming update 0.51. Unfortunately, we would like to say, that we are running a bit late with update in June with all the planned functions. Anyway, delay will not be long, and we think, it will be well worth the wait.
And on a cheerier note. Let’s start with the weapons. Beside the submachine gun SMG 90, which we have already told you about, several new types of weapons will be added to the game.
Let’s start with the assault rifle ZastavaM92. This Yugoslavian assault rifle is made on the basis of the Kalashnikov gun; bullet 7.62x39 is used.
Zastava M92 will be available for all the classes in the game starting from Level 18. Compared with the rifle Marauder-7, presented in the game, Zastava M92 is less precise, but more powerful gun.
One more new assault rifle – Zastava M70. This is very destruction-packed and relatively precise weapon, which will be available for «mercenary» class only, starting from Level 20. It also uses the bullet 7.62x39, but, as distinct from Marauder-7 and Zastava M92, Zastava M70 is more powerful. However, it has definite disadvantage: you may equip it with red dot sights and «KITE-1» optic sight only.
One more novelty: SPAS 12 shotgun. This Italian weapon is designed for miners, reached Level 23, and it’ll replace the Marauder-12, well loved by many players.
And the last one – VSS Vintorez!
This rifle will be available for «hunters» class only and who reached 25th level. This gun is more accurate than AS VAL, but its magazine capacity is only for 10 bullets.
Factional armor
Beside factional helmets MICH and 6B28, new factional body armor of high level will appear in the game. At the moment we’ve completed the design of new body armor for «Confederation», however, it’ll appear in the game when similar body armor for «Black Sunset» faction is ready.
New craft

Today we’ve prepared the update 0.50.5, which is mainly directed to solving of small problems in the game. It is interesting to note that release of this patch does not influence negatively the preparation of update 0.51, it is being developed at full pelt.
List of modifications
Locations design
- New initial location is added for new players – «Field camp». Now all the players will arrive there, not in «Solnechny».
- Fixed problems with textures of some buildings.
New opportunities and improvements
- Opportunity to produce gold bars is added. - Damage indicator became more informative.
Bugfixes
- Some problems with gun MP-133 are eliminated - Problem with incorrect flight trajectory of bullets in mode of aiming for some weapons was solved. - Problems with textures of some buildings were solved. - The error was corrected, due to which keys did not appear in some boxes, if character at the moment had another key in the inventory. - Problem with impossibility to kill «Flycatcher» in location «Bog» was solved. - Problem with gunsight «KITE-1» was eliminated, due to which reticle was illuminated in the dark, though, it should not happen.
Balance change
- Now you need more non-ferrous metal to produce copper. - Safe zone radius of «Black sunset» camp is changed. It became smaller. - Sand spiders near the «Black sunset» camp are moved beyond the reach of turret mount. - Chance of loot appearance from symbiont in the Bunker increased.
Other
- Ability of strafe running was eliminated. - Now when you drunk you have to go home :-)
The servers will be stopped for 30-40 minutes to update.
We’ve already told you about our future plans in previous news. Today we would like to share the most recent details about oncoming update 0.51. But first of all, it should be mentioned that we’ve made several important improvements for version 0.50.4, and, despite it, development of 0.51 goes ahead, though a bit belatedly.
New monsters
We prepared a new monster for update 0.51. We call it «Small symbiont». This monster is very weak, but very interesting; it will dwell in ruins located in the desert. This type of monsters is very sociable, they like hunting travelers in packs. At that, they prefer very close contact with the victim 😉. Watch video to see how «Small symbiont» looks like.
Work on this type of enemies is in process, and we reached definite success. To our regret, more than likely we will not be able to implement the mechanics of checkpoints occupation in the first release of version 0.51, but nevertheless we believe that all players will be interested in playing with opponents like this. We prepared new models for such NPC, and at the moment we are developing their animation and behavior model.
We plan to settle small groups of bandits in the outskirts in update 0.51; they will be hostile towards all the players. In future such groups will have their leaders, and fighting with them you will be able to get their weapons, bullets and other supplies.
When all the mechanics of fight against NPC are debugged and adjusted, we will be able to start the work on checkpoints occupation.
New weapons
We plan to present new weapons in update 0.51. For instance, SMG90 will appear in the game. It is designed for engineers of Level 25.
This submachine gun is one of the most desirable weapons for us, as at the moment «engineer» class poorly shows itself in some game scenario. As we informed before, new submachine gun will be designed for players of Level 25. It will have very high rate of fire and comparatively good performance against armor. At the moment, we completed the work on the animation of weapon, and keeping working on its adjustment and balance.
Quests
Beside new weapons, NPC and new armor, we plan to prepare number of new quests for characters of different levels, but first of all, we paid attention to players of Levels 13-16. For instance, advertisement board will appear in the game, where you will be able to take repeatable quests. This approach will let you gain more money and experience, in contrast to simple monster killing. What’s more, new quests will be added to the game; they will be available for players, joined the faction only.
Version 0.51 presents lots of game mechanics and opportunities that will be developed and introduced step by step in series of updates 0.51 (0.51.1, 0.51.2, etc). We express our gratitude to our core fans from all over the world – your support is very important for us!
