1. The random islands in the Lost Islands challenge are now more random.
   
2. Linux: Addressed several controller issues that have prevented the Linux version of the game from being verified on Steam Deck.
   
   
   • IMPORTANT: With these fixes, we will re-submit the game to Steam Deck verification with the Linux build, which may cause players already playing the Proton-run version of Kingdom Two Crowns on Steam Deck to be unable to access their previous save data. The save data is not erased but will exist in a different directory, which is recoverable through the following process. In order for a smooth transition and to continue with your previous save data, we urge you to register to our PlayFab service in the pause menu and upload your saves as soon as possible, so that they can be re-downloaded again once the game has been updated with the Linux version.
     
   • If you have not registered to PlayFab and notice that your save data is no longer accessible by the game after our verification pass, you can still access your old saves by going to Library > Kingdom Two Crowns > Properties > Compatibility, check the box next to “Force the use of a specific Steam Play compatibility tool” and choose “Proton Experimental” in the drop-down menu. This should allow access to your old save data and give you another chance to transfer them via PlayFab.

We hope you’ve got your walkmans ready, Monarchs, because the Kingdom Eighties Survival Mixtapes mode is available now! Press play on the mixtape in the Kingdom Eighties pause menu and get ready for the heart-pounding survival gameplay🔥Try your luck with beating endless waves of Greed to earn yourself a bronze, silver or gold crown - how many days will you last? You might even want to stay submerged in the captivating vintage synths longer and see, if there is an end to your survival - perhaps even an extra special reward?👀

Strategy and daringness, danger and excitement - has fighting monsters ever felt so real? One way to find out!

• The Knights have received new training, with a buffed leap attack that will knock back the Greed from walls and the Siege Dumpster. The Knights also participate in the Siege now.
  
• The Greed can now destroy the Turrets but the Workers repair them every morning for free. This balance challenges the way you expand the base and makes you hone your survival tactics.
  
• Turret damage and rate of fire have been rebalanced to adjust to the above change.
  
• The interactions between the Greed and the Siege Barrier, especially with larger Greed types, have been improved. These are bug fixes for improper behaviours, the Siege Barrier now should block the Greed more reliably.
  
• Performance improvements.
  
• Fixed situations when portals spawned too close to the campfire.
  
• The campaign difficulty setting "Cursed" has been rebalanced and will now provide an even tougher challenge!

We're thrilled to announce that we're setting up our Kingdom Eighties camp at an exciting new location - Steam Strategy Fest! Starting on August 28th at 7pm CEST and running until September 4th 7pm CEST, we'll be calling on you to help us protect our new camp from the ravenous Greed (they get more ferocious during events according to the legends!).

When we don’t have to defend the camp, we’ll be gathering around the campfire, sharing a few stories, lemonades and pizzas, listening to the atmospheric tunes from the game and enjoying the beauty of the neon lights. Perhaps we’ll even peek into the treasure chest and who knows what we’re going to find there📼



In the middle of our camp we’ll set up a screen where you’ll have a unique chance to see Survival Mixtapes streamed for the first time! Led by the wise master of the Kingdom games, the almighty Experience Producer Angelica Norgren, and a freshly crowned Camper in absolute love and obsession over the 80s, Sr. Community Manager Daria Driver. Whose skill will prove to be the best against unending waves of Greed? Which one will occur to be the successful strategy - experience or daringness?
