On November 21st, there will be regular server maintenance. The client requires a manual update to reflect the changes. The details of the patch are as the following:


1. Lobby

1.1. Tech Lab Update
A new theme and limited items are updated in the Tech Lab.

1.2. New Character Release
Our 38th character, Emma Hardy will be released upon this update.

• Emma's skin, Stage Magician Emma added.
  
• Emma and Emma skin package will be on sale. (Until the upcoming character release)
  
• Emma's profile and Research Journals added. (Except Interview)

1.3. Free Draw Bears-Roulette
Players can now have one free draw for the Bears-Roulette within the time given.

• Players can draw one free draw for every 8 hours.
  
• The daily BP that is given out via mail upon logging in will not be available anymore.

1.4. Mock Test Promotion / De-Promotion Intervals Adjustments
The Mock Test's Promotion/De-Promotion range has been adjusted, which allows players to be promoted or de-promoted more often, and the chances to maintain the test ranking will be lowered.

1.5. Gems Event
After the update, the Gems Event will be on-going for about 1 week period.

• The reward(s) for this event will vary depending on the cumulative of total Gems used/consumed by players, and the reward(s) will be given via Mail.
  
• Types of rewards: BP Booster, Gold Coin Booster, Access Code, Credit

1.6. Improvements on Notice Pop-Ups in Game
The Notice Pop-up window in the game has been improved.

1.7. Improvements on the Area Info in Index
The Area Information in the Index tab has improved with images of dropped items and other details.

1.8. Added Details on Character Tab Info
From this update, players can now see new tag information on the character tab.

• NEW : NEW tag represents new character
  
• UPDATED : UPDATED tag represents the updated character

(for characters on sale, the sale tag "50%" will appear on the character first)

1.9. Improved the Dead Character's Mark
Players can now visually notice the improved dead character's mark.

• Dead characters will be marked with a grey-scale.
  
• Dead characters on the lobby will have a huge "Revive Available" option to touch on.
  
• In the character list menu, the dead characters for free trial characters will still have the mark for Free Trial character.

1.10. Animation Resources Replaced for League Promotion / Character Promotion
The animation effect when a player underwent through league promotion or character promotion has been replaced.

1.11. Improved on the Live2D Character Movement
The Live2D Character animated motion and movement has been smoothly improved.


2. Combat

2.1. Cathy

• Arteriotomy
  - Option removed : Removed additional damage when hit.
  
• Bleeding rework
  - Time for Bleeding : 18 secs → 8 secs
  - Damage : 5→ 8 
  - Option added : If damage is taken from a direct attack during Bleeding, the Bleeding time will restart.

2.2. Silvia

• Rush
  - Option added : The effect duration time will refresh for every Search upon equipping the following items: Maverick Runner, Boots of Hermes
  
• Blitz
  Blitz skill has been revised partially.
  - Previous Skill : Inflict 8 skill dmg on hit. Consume all rush stacks, enhancing attack dmg by 5% per stack.
  - New changes: Deliver a normal attack with 110% dmg. All Rush stacks are consumed, and the crit chance for this attack is enhanced by 16% per stack.
  
• Stats
  - Atk growth : 2.1 → 1.7 (Upon Lv18 : 51.70 → 44.90)

2.3. Arda

• Stats
  - Stamina growth : 6 → 3(Upon Lv18 : 214.00 → 163.00)

2.4. Adriana

• Arson
  - Damage : Players cannot Rest and take 5% of their Max HP → 3% of their Max HP
  - Adriana is not affected by Arson effect.

2.5. Aptitude

• Ammo Supply
  Players can use this aptitude even if the bag's inventory is full. (However, in this case, Crude Silencer will not be given out)

Partial items have been adjusted.

3. Bugfixes

• Fixed the missing sound when equipping and using Crude Silencer.
  
• Fixed the missing home run sound when Rosalio is using Clutch Hitter skill and reached home run.
  
• Fixed the inappropriate display of the item icon that appears grey in the crafting item menu although the item is craftable.
  
• Fixed the issue of the details of the enemy players are not updated in the survivor's list when using Ambush.
  
• Fixed the error in repetitively displaying minus (-) marks when item menu pops up.
  
• Fixed the overlapped visual error and the missing UI when players are playing in a Private Game or in Single Game, and switches the app background while the app is running during the waiting time.
  
• Fixed the error that disables player to go out from the pop-up menu when a player changes the nickname by clicking the Research Level while having insufficient gems.

1. Combat

1.1. Rosalio

• Clutch Hitter
  - Cooldown time : 120 secs → 90 secs

1.2. Jenny

• Play Dead
  - ‘Play Dead’ cooldown time will not be reset if Jenny uses ‘Play Dead’ on another Jenny player.
  
• Revenge Play
  - Amount of HP regained adjusment : 100% → 70%
  
• Stats
  - HP growth : 5 → 4 (Upon Lv18 : 205.00 → 188.00)
  - Lv1 armor : 14 → 16

2. Bugfixes

• Fixed the discrepancy situation where the AI takes the random dropped items.
  
• Fixed the incorrect number of stacks of Pursuit Aptitude that is displayed.
  
• Fixed the abnormal situation where gunshot sounds are heard when using Counter-Attack with gun while equipping Crude Silencer.
  
• Fixed the missing visual icon of Crude Silencer that is not displayed when player equips Crude Silencer on a higher grade Gun weapon.

This additional patch is intended to fix the remaining issues involved left in the game. This patch does not require any selected patch, and it is advised to run the game after update completion as there are important fixes on the current issues related in the game.


[Bugfixes]

1. Live Patch

• Fixed the sudden abrupt crashes in the game when using Banana Leaf Fan on attacking wild animals. (This issue has resolved today on 15:37PM (GMT +9))

2. Client Patch (5.2.01)

• Fixed an the missing item (100 Access Codes) in Shop
  
• (STEAM) Fixed the issues with hotkeys that do not allow players to run from an enemy encounter on the screen. (The issue is related to the misplaced UI button on screen)

[[Important Notice]
This patch does not appear as pop-up on Black Survival’s title screen. Hence, we advise checking at GooglePlaystore for update button to receive the update.

If the GooglePlaystore still displays 5.2.00 version and the current update button is not available on the Black Survival’s page, we advise to switch off the Playstore’s app > Settings > App > GooglePlaystore > delete cache, and restart running the app until there’s a button for 5.2.01 update on GooglePlaystore.

Also, for this update, we introduced a brand new items that can be obtained from the Mystery PC Tech Lab; the Voice Announcements and Lantern Skins!




The obtained Voice Announcements and Lantern Skins will be in player's Collection > Bag. Players can choose to apply the Voice Announcement/Lantern Skins that they would like to hear and see in-game while combat!

We also have introduced an item that is purchasable in Shop which is the Advanced Research Support item! Players now can gain even MORE GEMS they need to purchase Access Codes, character skins or even characters!

2.2. Rosalio

• Clutch Hitter 
  Partial skill has been reworked.
  - Previous Skill: Only usable when current HP is less than 70%
  - New changes: HP conditions deleted, and 100% accuracy will be applied.

2.3. Jenny

• Play Dead
  Play Dead skill has been revised partially.
  - Previous Skill: On taking fatal dmg, revive with 1HP with Play Dead (excludes traps) and set dmg to 1 for 5 secs (with a -100% chance to be found)
  - New changes: Upon taking fatal dmg, revive with 1HP with Play Dead (except traps). If Jenny succeeds with a kill, the cooldown is reset.
  - Play Dead effect: For 3 secs, the chance to be found is 0%, and HP recovery from Rest is increased by 100%.
  
• Revenge Play
  Revenge Play skill has been revised partially.
  - Previous Skill: Inflict additional skill dmg equal to the 16% of the enemy's missing health (only works on enemy last attacked)
  - New changes: Inflict additional skill dmg equal to 12% of the enemy's missing health, and regained health the same amount dealt to enemy (only works on enemy last attacked)

  - Atk growth: 2.2 → 2.0 (Upon Lv.18. : 51.40 → 48.00)

The adjustments to Aptitudes are as following:

• Ammo Supply
  - New changes: The maximum number of bullets will be reloaded on the currently equipped weapon, and Crude Silencer will be supplied.
  - Cooldown time: 30 secs
  - Crude Silencer effect: Silenced the gunshots of the equipped weapon for 5 shots.
  
• Pursuit
  - New changes: Chance to find enemy +3%. Find the footsteps of the last person who exited from the current area. (2 uses per cooldown)
  
• Scout
  - New changes: For 16 secs, identify the number of animals and enemies in nearby areas, and reduce the chance to be found by 10%.
  - Cooldown time: 60 secs

• Fixed the issue of incorrect and numerical errors in increased stats of critical rate and damage value due to the Divine Dual Swords and Starsteel Twin Sword item.
  
• Fixed the issues related to the screen turned to white/grey while encountering enemies during the gameplay.
  
• Fixed the bug where players were able to change nickname using Fountain Pen in Shop while waiting for match.
  
• Fixed the bug related to the abnormalities in Counter Attack and Ambush.
