Today's update increases available farming space by a great deal! Instead of 3x5 unlockable areas, we've upped the number to 5x5, increasing total farm area by 66%. That's almost twice as much space!
All farms will be automatically expanded to the new size once you load them. There shouldn't be any issues, but if you experience problems, please let us know!

Improvements:
On 64bit versions of Windows, the game executable is now 64bits as well. It should help with some out-of-memory crashes in specific farms.

Improvements:
When placing crops on non-plowed land, the character will plow land without the need of cancelling placement, plowing and reselecting the item again in the shop.
Improved overall CPU performance of big animal fields.

Maximum allowed guest permissions for farms has been changed to "Plant".
Reduced a bit the duration of the vehicle work animation (it was longer than initially intended).
Gameplay changes:
Added a new quest for farms over level 20. The quest length has been changed a bit, the short ones should be obtainable in a single session.
New quests will reward more Medals depending on the farm level.
Changed the flower system: Now flowers will not stop growing if they run out of water, instead they will always take the same time to grow and the money earned will depend on how much time they had water. The minimum money they yield has also been increased.
Adjusted experience values of some items.
Farm visitors will now increase their boost meter by feeding animals or planting Quest crops (only crops).
Bugfixes:
Character will no longer "walk in place" when performing a series of consecutive tasks.
Fixed Map not working properly when using a gamepad.
Fixed fence highlight being rotated wrong when moving them under specific circumstances

We also wanted to let you know that we're working on allowing bigger farms in the near future (probably 5x5 plots instead of 5x3 as it's now), as well as other major features that will still take a long time to be complete.
Today we're bringing another hotfix, this time fixing the issue where the shop would show empty if you were playing in Danish, along with an useful Map key.

Map key: By pressing the M key you can open the Farm map and quickly travel to the Bus Stop or any Point of Interest you've built.

Sprinkler Flower effect changed from 65% to 80%. Many people were against the addition of this mechanic, but we still feel it's necessary, so we've toned it down.

Hi! Today's update is just a hotfix for some issues introduced in yesterday's one.
Bugfixes:
Fixed last selected shop item not being remembered.
Should improve draw distance related issues. Last update reduced the number of items enabled behind you, but increased draw distance by ~50-60% as a side effect. This caused some performance issues specially on high/very high quality settings, since the draw distance increase is more noticeable there.
This bugfix just reduces the draw distance back to numbers closer to what they were before.
Fixed draw distance being 20% higher after entering and closing photo mode. While in Photo mode, draw distance is increased (so more items are shown for a better picture), but it wasn't being set back to the original value, potentially lowering framerate.
Fixed face paint not being shown on Very Low detail settings.
Limited max Render Scale to 120%. While not exactly a bug, setting Render Scale to values higher than 120% wouldn't increase the crispness of the image by much, but could incur in a huge performance drop, so we've removed the ability to do it.
Hi! Today's update features a nice amount of new items, as well as a much requested feature: The farm map! It's currently shown instead of the old Point of interest selection dialog. We're still working on it so expect some changes in the future (including a key to directly open it from anywhere).

You can now sort items in the shop by level ascending or descending
When opening the shop window at night, the preview item will be lit.
When placing/moving items, you can now rotate them by pressing the Move key, without the need to orientate your character (you can still do it that way). Each press will rotate 90 degrees.
Items behind the character are removed earlier. More items in front of the character will be shown (please let us know if this causes a big performance hit on your computers).
If the game finds a problem while saving farm data, it will go directly to the main menu and let you know of the problem.
The lock icon in the shop is now closed, not open :)
Video settings are no longer synchronized on Steam Cloud.
Gameplay changes:
New quests will now give bigger medal rewards on higher farm levels.
Most achievements can now be unlocked while visiting other farms, as long as the event is triggered while you're on it.
Flowers no longer require to be watered on specific seasons, they will need to be harvested on their specific seasons instead.
Flowers being watered with sprinklers will only grow to 65% of their max growth.
Reduced requirements for some accumulative achievements.

Fixed all animals in a plot starting to walk at the same time.

Hi! As many of you had probably guessed, today's update features achievements! While most of them are easily obtainable and should be achieved in a few hours, some of them are tough ones and will require dedication to unlock!

Experience boost: Visiting other farms and helping with the harvest will increase your boost meter, which allows you to get double experience for a farm you own.
Many farm items now have more complex unlock requirements (reach a specific level of another farm item). Note that quests currently in progress may ask for a locked item. It's up to you to discard them or unlock the item and complete them. New quests won't show this issue.

Animals are reset to their base position when hidden. This should fix the "animals getting out of fences issue", and possibly reduce the number of "cow castles".

Hi! Today's update brings two of the most requested features into the game: Benches you can sit on (you can also sit on other decorations such as the tables) and animal Feeders that you can use to increase the amount of food animals can have.
