A new portion of the internal working flow information arrived.

We made a few minor updates for the last 7 days. Thanks to your reports, we fixed some bugs which appeared after the update. Such as:
* Localization mistakes - Thank you dinosaur for pointing out that issue, that really change the gameplay.
* Controls savings and mapping
* Hanging passenger from the plane - we saw some of the hilarious videos made by you.
We still have some issues which have to be resolved and It will be done shortly.


Cockpit
The most common question - when we will see the cockpit?
We moved deadlines because of design changing and proper testing. We are focusing on the quality, not time. And we hope you realized that each update is stable and has a wow effect. The same effect should be with the cockpit. By the way, if among of you has some shaders specialist please write to us: info@razar.cz


Smuggler storyline
The smuggler storyline starts on Security base, on the mainland. Quest calls deliver the alcohol. Be careful in order to make the game realistic we structure it this way: if you kill any of the main characters the storyline will be over.

New Update is out!

We received a lot of emails: how to make the game more engaging. And 60% of it comes up with the same idea - smuggling quests. As you know we are listening to our players and made it for you. Enjoy! (If you fail one mission you will fail the whole story) - you can find 1 mission on the military base.

Description:
You as a pilot have made a decision to make some easy money, by taking a few contracts for smuggling alcohol. It turns out you helped to transport stolen explosive materials from the military base. Government and corporations announced a reward for your head. You have no chose then keep working for terrorists. During your smuggling career, you will help a terrorist, get involved into corporations war, hiding from the police and etc. The new storyline includes challenging quests like delivering bombs, fly without navigation, be in a shadow of the police radars by flying lower than 800 meters, and maneuvering among mountains in a bad weather with fragile cargos and many more.


In addition to this mode, we made an ending of the main storyline + new quests (build a base). The world will change entirely. New cargos, quests, bases, animations, and contracts are waiting for you.

Hi Pilots,

We are receiving so many requests regarding achievements, so probably its time to add it. What kind of achievements should be in the game?
Our ideas: Achievements based on -

• Amount of money your earned
  
• Amount of cargos been transported
  
• on the distance, you flew
  
• amount of passengers you delivered
  
• amount of crashes you have

We are almost ready for the next update (30 November). A few things left 1) Localization - by the way thank you, everyone, who helps us 2) Proper test

By the way, the new update will be all about the finished main storyline and Smuggler mod. We hope you will be surprised by that. Map and world will be changed after finishing the main storyline and a lot of difficult quests been added to the MOD.

As you can see this is a week of voting for the best game. If you think we are deserved to be nominated for the best game atmosphere or any other please vote.

Hi Pilots,
A new portion of the internal working flow information arrived.

Last week we announced a new location - Canyon. And we can not leave it empty. Now we are adding a new base, With new ship upgrades and cargos.


Work with HUD is in progress. This week we were focused on the compass and navigation. As you can see from the picture below, it way easier to read, straightforward where to fly.


One of the posts in the forum was "Please don't make another space shooter".
We are not going to make it as a shooter it will be a peaceful game, but we want to add drones which protecting the bases. And once we apply Faction based economy, drones of enemy bases will attack you.

As, promised structure of new HUD. Every part of it was redone. No more miss understanding where to fly, useless information, messages in the middle of the screen. Please share your opinion in comments.


Great news, quests and flight conditions are done and ready to test. What else we are going to add: More radio conversations, and new locations (canyon and high mountains).

We read your comments in the game& steam and found 2 main issues.
1) Sound of engines
2) Joystics setting
Some of the engines lost sound. We found a problem and fixed it.
And of cause the joystick setting, we received a lot of messages with the device types, found out there is a lot of unknown joysticks, that why we need to add them manually. We added some of them to this update. Please write your devices here . That would increase the speed of development and testing.


Mod
What we accomplished this week: A) All of the quests done, now we need to test it. What will make this mode unique 1) unpredictable storyline 2) tuff quests: fly under ... meters, fly without the navigation system and etc.

HUD
Last week we promised to show you the cloud view mode. Here it is.

Also, you can see how the HUD will look like We changed everything. Here showcase the full mode of new HUD. It transforms depends on the flight mode you pick helicopter or jet. Also, yellow bars appear in some extreme cases. In two weeks we will describe what will be the view for the cockpit. We are sure you will be impressed. None of the current games have it.

First off all thank you who shares an opinion about the cockpit (last Friday).
Here it is the answer to your questions:


Now you can see what is going to be in the cockpit.
Regarding the window: the planet you are on has a very unstable electromagnetic radiation (That why radars broke above 2500). If we will add window pilot basically would be fried like a chicken on the grill.
Furthermore, in VR it would be unreal to make a good overview. Ok, it easy to add a window in front of you but what about the overview under you (landing)?

Oh, almost forgot about impressive cloud vision and new HUD. (Top secret materials will be posted next week). Here it is some preview (stolen from the closed door of the Game designers department:) )


You were asking for smugglers and terrorist quests so we made it. The range of quest will include transporting smuggling, weapons, hiding from the security service, build a terrorist base and so on.

And of cause we don't forget about the game environment - animals are on the way.

So now let's talk about the HUD and controls. As you know game actions take place in the future. And technology changing so fast, everything becomes so intuitive and digital. That why we want you to represent our vision of it. (We implemented a lot of your ideas as well)

Scheme of the ship
Remember? everytime you getting crashed, rescue capsule saves your life and deliver you to the base. As you can see, the rescue capsule is a part of the ship and ship is the skeleton. That why its so easy to change ships.


The idea behind the controls
Most of you saw the movie "Pacific Rim". Do you remember the suit and Neural connection with the robot? We would like to follow that structure. The pilot wears Exosuit with the neural helmet which recognizes the impulses of your brain (read your mind), projects all the data onto the helmet visor. (helmet and exosuit interact with each other)

Example: IF you want to turn left, you have to think and make a movement with your legs (like you push the pedals). Exosuit reads that data and send the signal to the helmet, helmet process the data and turn the ship to the left.

What will be physical in a cockpit: comfortable pilot seat, external pressure gauge, thermometer, chemical analyzer, a pyro-cartridge fuse lever, rocket launcher, VR laser projectors in case of built-in AR VR spacesuit system failure, window.

New game designer working hard on the new mod. The story will put you into the skin of the pilot who made a wrong decision because of the money. You will be so close to death, getting catch and etc.
Altogether there will be 13 quests. (More info next week)
