Witch Hunt - Gua


Version 0.83 is now live. This is probably the most controversial update to Witch Hunt, cause it drastically changes core hunting mechanic of the game and introduces major balance changes, so there's bound to be people who will not like it. For that reason I've made previous version of the game available to public through a seperate steam branch.

Changelog:
- Darkness sense skill significantly changed. It no longer consumes mana but works differently.
- Major balance changes.
- Added heavy foggy valley to the forest level.
- New tutorial.
- Level design improvements on forest level.
- Level design improvements on Bellville level.
- Made some improvements to path preferences of bosses.
- Second chance skill will now teleport you to random position.
- Bell sound will now attract enemies if they are nearby.
- Changed Bellville music on day 3.
- If you encounter whisperer it will now attempt to consume 100 mana. Only if you don't have 100 mana, you'll receive additional damage depending on how much mana you've had.
- Fast travel skill now requires full health and consumes 100 mana.
- Spiders no longer spawn mana.
- Tips, texts, video and everything related to old Darkness sense mechanic changed or removed.
- Lightning sound radius increased.
- New icon for silver crucifix ready status.
- Fixed a bug that prevented poisonous plant death sound to be heard.
- Fixed a bug that spawned two watcher totems after game loading.
- Fixed two bugs related to lockpick master skill.
- Small improvements to design of trader shop.
- More healing plants added to Bellville.
- Other small changes and improvements.

If you want get old version with old Darkness Sense:

1. In your Steam client, go to the Library and right (mouse button) click on Witch Hunt
2. Select Properties (from context menu)
3. Select the Betas tab
4. Select Version_082 from the list on click ok

Это, наверное, самое спорное обновление для Witch Hunt, так как оно кардинально меняет основную механику охоты. Поэтому я уверен, что будут люди, которым это не понравится. По этой причине я сделал прошлую версию игры доступной для скачивания через отдельную Steam ветку.

1. В своей библиотеке кликните правой кнопкой мышки на Witch Hunt.
2. В контекстном меню кликните properties (свойства)
3. Кликните на закладку Betas (Бета-Версии)
4. Выберите ветку Version_082 из выпадающего списка.

Version 0.81 is now live.

Changelog:
- Changed behavior of undead dogs and humans when player is unreachable for AI.
- Deadblind now spawns 100 mana cloud on death.
- Fast travel points no longer require player to have full health.
- Evil sight can now be activated with button (Default: v)
- Changed some scripted events.
- New interface and sound for some game informational messages.
- Now player is healed from poisoning when he loads the game. To prevent endless loop of death for players who saved while being poisoned.

- There was a method to abuse game rules that allowed to find Witch super quickly. This is now fixed.
- Fast travel point is now marked on the map.

Version 0.81 is now live. This update should fix sound issues reported by -pM.Kalvyn'.

- Fixed disappearing sounds issue, mostly noticeable on sound of healing plants.

- Fixed bug that didn't allow player to rebind controls.

Version 0.79 is now live. This update will reset your key bindings to default!

Changelog:
- Small barn is now locked until you kill sacrificial tree.
- Small barn now contains loot and environmental storytelling content.
- In addition to money, mayor will now also reward you with ammo after you kill the beast.
- Changed behavior of church front doors to prevent player from getting stuck there.
- Fixed some places where player could get stuck.
- Solved issue that made menus stop responding to controller input after player rebinds controller buttons.

Version 0.78 is now live. It's a small update to fix couple issues. If you haven't yet seen 0.77 changelog. You can check it here. 0.77 contains much more improvements and fixes.

- Fixed a place near church backdoor where player can get stuck.
- Changed priority of some sounds to prevent some sound issues.

Version 0.77 is now live. Spoilers are hidden behind black bars. If steam doesn't see new version of Witch Hunt, just restart steam.





Changelog:
- Additional fix for invulnerable tree bug.
- Appearance of a deadblind changed. Deadblind is now much more easier to spot.
- Thunder totem replaced with silver crucifix.
- Now at some point, something happens to doctor.
- Now game gets saved after watcher totem installation.
- Added information regarding darkness sense radius in darkness sense description.
- Fixed bug that prevented grass to be rendered on any quality settings if you chose fastest or low quality setting at some point.
- Witch will now use blind scream in its first stage when she's near the player.
- Level design changes in Bellville. Backdoor of the church can now be opened.
- FOV slider no longer blocked on fastest and low quality settings.
- Added warning message regarding FOV on fastest and low quality settings.
- Fixed bug that prevented options warning message about Ultra quality to be displayed.
- Fixed some places where player could stuck.

Witch Hunt - Gua
It's a bit different bug, than the one I've fixed before. Current health bar will reflect sacrificial tree health from 0-6000. Since tree health was more than 6000 before update and your safe file holds old health number for sacrificial tree, it will not start to update health bar until you lower it's health below 6000. So you can just shoot it and eventually that health bar will start to move or you can send me letter to guaindie [at] gmail.com and I'll edit your save file and give it 6000 health.

На самом деле дерево получает урон, но при последнем обновлении игры макс. количество здоровья дерева было изменено. Индикатор здоровья отображает здоровье от 0 до 6000, но из-за того, что ты начал играть на более старой версии, здоровья у дерева было больше чем 6000, если продолжишь наносить ему урон, то рано или поздно индикатор здоровья начнет отображать урон. Ты так же можешь написать мне на guaindie [собака] gmail.com и я исправлю твой сейв.
