What's new:

- Partial support for old user tracks has been added;
- Functionality for quickly creating and copying custom modifications has been added;
- Visual improvements to the D-Master body kit for the Redline S car;
- Alphabetical sorting of the friends list in the invitation window to the room has been added;
- Fixed an issue where zones were not counted in multiplayer competitions after changing the car;
- Fixed the inability to paint metal interior parts;
- Fixed severe blurring of glass in the first-person view;
- Fixed incorrect display of vinyls on windows;
- Fixed the absence of the SSGI graphics setting reset;
- Fixed a crash when exiting the game if a car without a hood was selected.

PTR 2.22.0 v.2 is already here for Steam players!



What's new:

- Settings have been added to adjust the brightness of the headlights;
- Nimble car's visual improvements;
- The offset front wheelbase on the Nimble car has been fixed;
- The incorrect camera focus on the rear lights of the Redline S car has been fixed;
- The issue with the minimap not appearing after leaving the config selection window in "Tandem Drift" mode has been fixed;
- The issue with hiding the active vote after a new player joins the room has been fixed;
- The wording of the context menu options in the room with the minimap disabled has been fixed;
- The lack of DQ for collisions in the "Accepting requests" and "Qualification" stages has been fixed;
- The incorrect search by author name in the track workshop has been fixed;
- The issue with opening a track after using the search in the track workshop has been fixed;
- The graphical defect behind the windows has been fixed;
- Drone camera shaking during rotation and movement has been fixed;

We'd like to inform you, that we've successfully released a new server security improvement update, but as for now it's available only for PTR players.

This fix will go live for all players with the global release of 2.22.0 update.

We've received many requests from you regarding improvements to the handling of various cars, so we've decided to conduct a large-scale rebalance of the vehicle lineup.

We have prepared several cars with what we believe to be optimal handling characteristics, and we would like to give you the opportunity to test them right away.

Since 2.22.0 PTR update includes an update to the game's technological base, to ensure custom tracks display correctly, track authors need to:

1. Download Unity version 2023.2.20 from https://unity.com/pt/releases/editor/whats-new/2023.2.20

2. Download the track uploader version 2.0 alpha from https://github.com/Car.../dro-map-uploader/releases/tag/v2.0

3. Launch the project in the new Unity version and wait for resource re-importation

4. Go to Window -> HDRP Wizard and click 'Upgrade HDRP Materials to Latest Version' in the popup window

5. Finally, build your track and publish it to the Steam Workshop following the standard procedure.

❗Please note that re-published tracks will not be visible in version 2.21.0 of the game. Similarly, tracks published for version 2.21.0 will not be visible in version 2.22.0.

❗Once again, we'd like to remind, that PTR version is not the final release of the update, but a version for public testing so we could gather feedback on bugs and other possible issues.
❗ How can you play the PTR version of the update?
1. Go to the Steam library
2. Right Click on CarX Drift Racing Online
3. Select properties
4. Go to the BETA VERSIONS tab
5. Select latest PTR 2.22.0 - Public test pre-release version.
