2. Download the track uploader version 2.0 alpha from https://github.com/Car.../dro-map-uploader/releases/tag/v2.0

3. Launch the project in the new Unity version and wait for resource re-importation

4. Go to Window -> HDRP Wizard and click 'Upgrade HDRP Materials to Latest Version' in the popup window

5. Finally, build your track and publish it to the Steam Workshop following the standard procedure.

❗Please note that re-published tracks will not be visible in version 2.21.0 of the game. Similarly, tracks published for version 2.21.0 will not be visible in version 2.22.0.

Thanks a lot for your feedback on the latest server security update: unfortunately, this update hasn't fixed all issues with that aspect of the game.

We are already working on the next fix and will keep you updated on that.

Thanks a lot for your support.

We have significantly reworked the security system of online rooms, and we are ready to present it to you with this server update.
It addresses the currently known vulnerabilities that allow malicious users to interfere with online room management.
It's already released and there is no need to update the game.

Thanks a lot for your feedback!

Today we want to share some news about our work on the project and tell you what new features to expect in future updates.

✅ Collision Fix in Multiplayer.
In the current version of the game, the collision disable timer does not work quite correctly: the player collision status was not being updated, so some players could push other players without any response.
This bug fix is already 100% complete and will be available in the next game update.

✅ Custom Maps for Consoles.
We are working on this feature, and the overall progress on this task can be estimated at 70-80%.
Unfortunately, we had to spend a lot of time studying all the necessary legal and technical requirements of the platforms and developing a concept that fully meets them.
We will be able to provide more information a bit later, but for now, we can state that this feature will work on consoles just like on PC.
Modded maps will be equally available on Xbox and Sony PlayStation, but there will be a delay before publication due to preliminary moderation of the maps.
We plan to complete development during this summer, but note that this is a preliminary estimate - we have a complex testing process ahead, which may take time.

✅ Car Swap during the race.
The long-awaited feature of swapping cars without having to leave the race will be available for single-player mode and multiplayer.
We are working to make the car swap seamless for the server, but already, players don't need to worry that someone else will take their place in the room during the change.
Development of this mechanic is 95% complete and is already being tested, and it will come to the game with the next update.

✅ Wheel Rotation in the Dyno Stand.
To improve working with the dyno stand experience, we will add the ability to rotate the wheels - previously this happened only automatically.
Now players will have the option to do this manually.
Development of this mechanic is 95% complete, and it will come to the game with the next update.

✅ New Stickers.
Work on 19 new stickers is 100% complete, and they will be added to the game with the next update, and will also be available on consoles.

✅ Car Shaking in Drone Camera Mode.
Thanks to feedback from our players, we were able to detect and solve this issue, and this fix will be included in the next update.
The development is now 100% complete and is already being tested.

✅ New Content.
We are also working on adding new content to the game: with the next update, players can expect at least one new car and a new body kit.
Work on the new content is approximately 50% complete.

❗Drivers, we will continue to keep you informed about our work on the game and share the status of tasks and updates, so stay tuned for news not to miss a thing!
Thank you for playing with us. ❤

What’s up drivers.

For 10 years, since the release of the very first version of our mobile CarX Drift Racing game, we’ve been paying close attention to the reaction of our audience and up to this day we believe that the trust of our players is the most important asset of CarX Technologies.

Every step of development and our work process is connected with adding new content. We are gathering feedback from our players constantly to get insights on exactly what new content we should add to our games, and each time we get and idea of a specific content bundle that we work on to adapt and add to our games.

In early April, this year, we’ve received a message from a content creator, claiming that our content recently added to CarX Drift Racing Online was, in fact, based on his work.

We’ve examined this claim carefully and, yes, it’s possible to say that we took inspiration from this creator’s work, however we did not notify him or ask for his permission to use his work as reference.
We’d like to apologize to the concept author, Cyro Miguel and, we are currently working together to resolve this issue by entering a license agreement with the author.

We’d like to thank our players for the attention to such details and all the feedback. No doubt, we will improve our internal processes and workflow to prevent this kind of situation from happening again and to provide updates with quality content.
Inevitably, all controversial, dividing or inappropriate content will be removed from our games forever or until the related issues are resolved, if possible.

We highly appreciate feedback from our community and content makers on our games.
Thanks for making better games with us!
