In the second Part of Dipluce Horizon there are new skills, districts and an increased maximum level to discover!


The story continues in an exciting sequel and two other districts are waiting to be explored: “The Renegades” and “Holy Ground”.

The update also includes an additional skill for each character as well as a higher maximum level (from 63 to 65).

Dear community,

We want to take some time to address the current status of some of the upcoming content as well as why we are seeing such delays.

As was announced already, the next planned update will be the second part of Dipluce Horizon. This will also include an update to the in-game rankings and with it, we will reactivate the currently deactivated rankings as well. After that, we are currently planning to release the Hidden Hideout raid, followed by the Chii Advancement and Corrupted Record – we of course know that many of you have been asking for Corrupted Record, but due to the nature of the content and other releases taking priority, we decided together with Lion Games, to push back its release.

Generally, all of the actual release planning is discussed collaboratively, until we decide on a final release plan together. As Lion Games has to provide the patches for us, their initial input on what order of content is possible is very important and necessary before we can plan what to actually release and when. Often times, certain versions and contents are a pre-requisite for the release of others, meaning a certain order has to be followed.

Last year, we were able to adjust the sequence of content a bit by doing a version merge between ours and the Korean version, giving us more freedom in terms of the order of content. This gave us the chance to release Chii much earlier than otherwise possible. We had done this already once in the past, and so we were confident that we could execute it once more without any major issues. Initially, it worked well and as intended. But with time however, we saw that this also brought with it a lot of issues that we did not anticipate. This mostly shows itself in the issues we have had with character skills and leads to much more work both for us as well as for Lion Games, so a version merge like this will not be done again in the future. Once we have reached a full live release of all main features that were included in the version that was merged, we should be much more stable again.

Our goal was to deliver the content you really wanted faster than we otherwise could. And while that was successful, the issues we had to face due to it, lead to many frustrations and delays, which was of course not what was intended.
