Dear Legends of Ellaria players,

This week we've connected the first parts of the World Domination version.

We've also managed to connect the first person view to the world domination view so that when entering a new area, the terrain and its surroundings will be exactly as displayed in the world map. Along with that, we're working on multiple areas within each tile, to represent points of interest and quests.

We're also working on cities, fog of war and connected areas, as well as a road between towns. We can't wait to publish new videos and images as we develop them.

In the meanwhile, we are on our way to publish a large version, which will include siege weapons, destructible buildings, and more in-depth city life. We're expecting to publish this version within the next week or two

Dear Legends of Ellaria players,

Since we’re working on a larger version than usual, we’ve made some videos to share with you about our progress and upcoming versions.

The past few weeks have been exciting as we’ve laid important foundations for the World Domination Update. Since the World Domination will contain multiple areas, we’ve tweaked the pathfinding so that Ellarian citizens and NPC’s will find their way between cities. They can also enter and exit buildings, and have a more realistic daily schedule. For instance, citizens now work during the day and stay indoors during the night. Also, they change clothes before going to work.

One good reason why citizens need to exit buildings is that you and your enemies can destroy buildings.



When a building gets below 40% health, all of its inhabitants are forcefully removed and the building is inaccessible. Also, most buildings can be completely destroyed.

Along with destructible buildings, we’ve created siege weapons in preparation for faction wars and castle sieges.



Siege weapons require several soldiers to operate, and are slow to deploy, but wreak havoc on large creatures and defense structures.



Since we’re designing a large world for the upcoming World Domination update, we’ve also created horses, horse carriages, and the ability to fight on a horse.



The next weeks will be exciting as we’ll publish these features and more. We’re also working on the first parts of the World Domination update, and will post updates, images, and videos.

We're excited to announce a NEW closed-beta version, containing more over 100 fixes and Improvements. These improvements are based on your bug reports, feedbacks and long-planned improvements, along with a new sound system, improved combat AI and visual corrections.

Also, We would like to share with you Legends of Ellaria RoadMap
which details our time schedule on important features such as World Domination, Multiplayer, Necromancer and more. The order and date of these features may change, and we will update this list as we develop these features.




Version 0.5.49.01 BETA 1 Contains the following

Combat Improvements
  • NPC use tactics depending on their training, including flanking and changing weapons to match yours
  • NPCs are less likely to shoot an ally while aiming at an enemy
  • Improved NPCs animations
  • Citizens reacts to you when you attack them in Casual
  • Getting killed dispells all shields and summoned creatures
  • Reduced Mana from x10 per Spirit to x5 and reduced all spells by half so that mana potions and apparel will be more effective.
  • Added Rage skill mechanics

Sound Improvements

  • Created a new sound system for ambient and sound effects
  • Added multiple indoor and outdoor ambient and immersive sounds
  • Improved the footstep sounds
  • Remixed sound volumes and added smoother transitions
  • Rebalanced NPCs greetings, shouts, and taunts depending on the environment and number of NPCs

Other improvements and fixes

  • Fixed multiple sound issues
  • Fixed rain and other sounds were ignoring the sound volume
  • Fixed multiple issues with stairs, collisions, empty areas and glitches in all city indoors.
  • Fixed door, wall and item misplacement in buildings and indoors
  • Fixed citizens standing inside the barrel of the tavern
  • Holding the Plus Button on the character menu increases the attribute or proficiency over time
  • FPS-RTS switch is smoother and simpler
  • Fixed sound disappearing when fighting a large army
  • When getting hit while aiming with the bow, the arrow would stay loaded

    • Added a skill-based interval between each dodge
    • Block and Dodge Efectivness are influenced by your timing.
    • Fixed Golem and Cave Crawler shoots through walls
    • Fixed Goblins hitting you with melee from beyond their melee range
    • Fixed when you get hit while drawing, it stays loaded with an arrow

Dear Legends of Ellaria players,

We're excited to announce a NEW closed-beta version, containing the Rift Mage class, along with various improvements.

Rift mages can use and bend raw rift energy to their will. A rift mage can move or block objects mid-air, bend rift energy to solid forms and open rifts to move between locations.

The Rift Mage Class includes the following features:

  • Mark location, teleport to a location and teleport to town spells
  • A Guided orb that will follow your view as long as you hold the mouse button
  • The new Mage light spell
  • A personal force field that blocks a large amount of damage before dissipating
  • As well as the original Shard Of Ember and Magic Shield spells



Version 0.5.48.02 BETA 1 also includes the following improvements
  • Added footstep sounds
  • Added citizen greetings
  • Improved ambient audio
  • Enemies now warn their friends when in danger

  • Reduced Mana from x20 per Spirit point to x10

0.5.48.03 - BETA 5 Changes:
  • The quick bar now has 3 different settings, and you can switch between each quick bar with C V and B
  • Your mana does not regenerate while controlling a force field or a summoned creature.
  • Casting a lower tier spell gives you a bonus to the spell damage, but not to the mana cost
  • Increased the mana cost for all major spells.
  • Rebalanced minor spells such as Shard Of Ember
  • Added "Minor Dispel" to the Druid class. This spell removes (or destroys) any summoned creature or force field.
  • Increased the Rock Golem's health from 135 to 250
  • Increased the summoned Tiger damage by 30%
  • Fixed several wrong descriptions on items
  • Changed several spell icons

BETA 6 Changes:
  • Fixed Quest Panel not showing the quests
  • Removed the mana regeneration limitation when summoning creatures or force fields

Druids are Mages that invoke nature's forces and shape them with the strength of their will. They specialize in summoning powerful beasts and using natural forces to heal or harm.


Version 0.5.46.01 BETA 1 includes the following features:


The new Druid class



A new Console for testing, exclusive for our closed beta testers.




As well as the following features:
  • Separated the mage class into the Elemental Mage, Rift Mage and Druid. The Elemental and Rift mages will be improved in later versions
  • Added new spells for each class. More to come
  • Mana and Damage is now calculated by the spell tier vs your tier
  • The Golem's explosion debris now disappear, allowing you to find its loot area

Version 0.5.46.01 BETA 1 fixes the following issues

  • Effects and spells were not visible when facing the horizon's fog
  • Fixed Fireball explosion disappears halfway into the explosion
  • Fixed Circle of Ice continuing forever

  • Redesigned the bow aiming mechanics. shooting your bow now hits where you aim
  • A new Ranger skill tree with focus on night vision, move/sprint/jump speed, and bow effectiveness
  • Ranged accuracy depends on your skills. Also included a new reticle to display your accuracy
  • Zooming while aiming with a ranged weapon depends on your skills. We will include the ability to zoom in by pressing Right-Click in the next version

  • Fixed multiple Unarmed Combat issues, including damage and range
  • Fixed inventory missing slots when placing an item next to another

Dear Legends of Ellaria players,

We have a very special announcement for this upcoming winter.

After building the foundation of Legends of Ellaria's essential features, were ready take a step further and bring YOU a step further into the experience.

When we first envisioned LoE, we thought about a truly unique game that we as developers & gamers would love to play. As we thought and scrambled through ideas, mixing an Adventure-RPG with an RTS game in one gave the concept so many capabilities in which you could not only explore a world but build a kingdom within it; This also gave us ideas of, what if you could be more than an adventurer in the game, what if you could be king?

And so, the idea of a world where you could explore, build, command, fight, trade, and rule all-in-one game became what is today an Early Access version of Legends of Ellaria.

Our latest version includes the long-awaited merchant and new elements in our RPG and leveling system, such as the Warrior and Shieldsman classes. We will continue updating LoE on a weekly basis and expect the World Domination version to come out soon

It's been a long journey to get to this point, and we are finally ready to bring you further features this winter!

The current version includes:



  • RPG, classes and a new character interface
  • The Warrior Class
  • The Shieldman Class, new armor logics and interface
  • A new combat control system which is smoother and more intuitive
  • The new vendor and unique items to buy, found in the market, tavern, blacksmith and Riverside village after completing their quest.

Some of the new features we will include:



  • Build towns, manage your kingdom, recruit armies
  • Explore and conquer regions of a vast and mysterious world
  • Conquer other kingdoms, defend your own.
  • Use siege weapons, build walls

As well as the following fixes:



  • Major controller and animation fixes
  • Some NPC behavior fixes
  • Graphics and interface tweaks and alignment


As you know, we have a closed-beta in which owners of Legends of Ellaria gain access to features BEFORE they're officially released, as well as having the chance to send us feedback directly through our Discord (link).
