A jet-pack equipped mini-boss found on Vaccine Warehouse 2 from medium difficulty up. He's very fast and hard to hit, but can't take much of a beating.
Description: Booster Bruce made a name for himself protecting corporate interests in the Australian outback using his custom made jet pack. It wasn't long before M-Corp executives took notice, and assigned him as the leader of his very own quick response team to suppress competitor initiatives before they could affect quarterly profit forecasts.

The Spider Tank, found on Chemical Processing 2 on medium difficulty and above, is quite a tough challenge with high damage resistance, good mobility, and two attack patterns.
Description: A competing weapons manufacturer was recently acquired below market price by M-Corp after, by an extraordinary and not at all suspicious coincidence, the CEO and the entire board of directors suffered from various unrelated fatal accidents. This amazing stroke of luck was very fortunate for M-Corp as the ST-85 prototype armored quadrupedal defense unit they designed filled a gap in the market M-Corp was not able to fill until now.

The Accountant, found on Profit Management 2, is the second 'mini-boss' of a series of (probably) seven. He's the easiest of the mini-bosses, being the only one who will appear on all difficulty levels including easy.
Description: Through years of boot licking and back stabbing he has climbed the ranks of M-Corp™️, and uses his fat paycheck to buy better gear than the other guards. Especially difficult to deal with is his portable shield generator, which will protect him from a huge amount of incoming damage. Either destroy it with brute force, or find another way ...

This is the first of a series of updates introducing new mini-bosses! Aimed at advanced players, this disgusting giant rat will only appear on hard mode *OR* any difficulty when looping the game (e.g. after defeating the boss and starting your second run). It appears on Sewers 2.
Description: The CEO's Gold Defense Squad at M-Corp™️ engineered this mutant sewer rat to be the "attack dog" and mascot of the squad. They even fitted two canisters of fast working virus onto its back. After many hundreds of beatings, it is now trained to vomit the virus onto any intruders who try to make their way into the compound. One deranged employee started a smear campaign against M-Corp™️, falsely claiming this was somehow bad for the rat's health. This employee has since been liquefied. M-Corp's public relations department deflected accusations of animal abuse and has heralded it as an innovative way to bring employment into a previously under represented rat demographic

Hello! This is just a quick hotfix to fix the "double reload" issue with the blast pistol.
After firing 3 shots, the gun would automatically reload; however, pressing the reload button again would cause the reload timer to start again, slowing the reload process. This should be fixed now.
Also reported were rare occasions where the pistol could be "bricked". I was not able to replicate this but as a side effect of the bug fix above I believe this is also fixed as it is likely related. If you do encounter any issues please report them to the bug report sticky in the Steam forums.

The R&D department whipped this up after executives wanted an easy way to dispatch of middle managers who failed to reach their sales goals. While much more powerful than a regular Plasma Pistol, the range was intentionally limited to ensure stray bullets wouldn't damage the expensive paintings of themselves on the office walls. Must be manually cooled. Once unlocked, there is a 50% chance a Blast Pistol will spawn in place of a standard Plasma Pistol.

Introducing the Sonic Pulse Generator (SPG)! This weapon is radically different to anything that has come before; it cannot fire projectiles itself, but you can use its shock wave to amplify and redirect enemy projectiles. Use it offensively by redirecting enemy projectiles back at them or directly damage enemies with the shock wave, or use it defensively by deflecting projectiles that would otherwise hit you.

An explosive weapon for advanced players, it can fire up to four 'sticky' grenades that will attach themselves to any enemy or surface. When you reload, the grenades will detonate. This weapon takes a lot of experience and skill to use effectively but is lots of fun. Unlock it by reaching the boss area! :D

This update adds a new Dart Gun weapon, and the beginnings of an unlock / progression system!
Introducing the Dart Gun! The first of a new wave of unlockable weapons I will be adding to the game. This new weapon fires 7 homing projectiles that seek out enemies. The low damage and expensive ammo cost make it impractical to use against tougher enemies unless in a pinch, but nothing beats the dart gun for guaranteed hits on pesky drones and soldiers, which you can attack from behind cover if you are clever enough. Also surprisingly effective against the boss, who takes extra damage from red-type weapons. For now you can unlock the dart gun by reaching the Lab levels.
