WHATâS NEW?
Today, weâd like to present some of our work in progress. From enviro, through the minimap, new mechanic, new animation, and more. All right, itâs time for some farming!
MECHANICS
As you can see, weâve implemented an inventory on your tablets! With this freshly new and still-in-progress feature, you can store all your collections in one place.
In addition to the new inventory, we implemented an option to take out a certain amount of your crops and then collect them at once. Arenât those top-class potatoes? Have you spotted more veggies *wink? đ„
Itâs nap time!
We've thought that some of you'd like to change the time for your daily flipping routine. Thatâs why weâd like to present a brand-new feature weâre constantly working on. Now, you choose the time, click the button, and wake up at the specific moment. Check it on your own and tell us what options you saw.
If youâve rested enough, letâs make a trip around the map. As you can see, weâve prepared for you a spacious landscape based on climatic gold plains with coniferous forests to create a farming vibe.
If youâre curious about the whereabouts of this environment, we come with aid. Take a look at the minimap, from where you can choose the jobs to do.
ITEMS
For a better view, weâve prepared a set of new unique windows to make your apartments modern and stylish. Itâs a fresh idea but has changed a lot. Letâs stop walking for a moment and try to relax while drinking tea and looking outside the house.

Ever wanted to be a rockstar? Now itâs possible with our new rocking chairs! Now even you can feel that swinging vibe and sing your favorite songs while chilling on the porch.
Weâve heard your voice that you lack kitchen tools, so it pushed us to make some for you. Can you feel a fresh floating aroma in your rooms? So we do! With our mixer, whisk, wooden spoon, and more, you can spice up your dining rooms a bit.
Pssst: Wanna taste something sweet? We have some little jars with homemade preserves. Theyâre waiting for you to place them in your house and put some warmth and a sentimental childhood feeling.

If youâre curious how our friends from Frozen Way are doing, we have a little surprise for you! Theyâve just released the first-ever development update of Honeycomb! Itâs still warm, and you can find some cute animals in it.
As you know, the biggest update for Pets DLC has been introduced less than two weeks ago, but our development journey hasnât ended yet. Thanks to your feedback, support, and bug reports, weâve managed to overcome some major problems. Itâs very important to us that you engage so much as a community and help us with a bunch of different things.
Proceeding to the main topic, for many of you, this is vacation time, and you enjoy summer. Nevertheless, we hope that those bug fixes and changes will refresh your gameplay experience as the wind calmly dabs your faces!

With every comment you shared, the distance to our goal was shrinking, as we were more and more aware of any missing pieces in the Pets DLC content list.

We think you will be pleased to know that we have focused, among other things, on refining the enjoyment of spending time with your furry friends, as during the last 2 weeks we've taken a closer look at all the animal-related problems you reported.

We've been monitoring all of our social media channels, and we're collecting every little piece of information. Prepare for yet another hotfix next week, that will deal with another portion of the latest issues (like that pesky 13th floor bug ËDogefaceË)
If you don't know yet, we're also working on a Pets DLC content update, that according to our plan, is going to arrive this month, and we prepared a couple of sneak peeks! Last time we showed you that a new rat companion is in the making. Now itâs time for a proper rat cage... lots of space for those little climbers! Take a look at this beauty, isnât it adorable?

See... the hats will be changing, and we're still wondering what the dependencies should be. We have 3 options to choose from here, and we don't know which one sounds the best, so let us know whatcha think: 1. Pets change their hats depending on the DLC origin of the job the player currently works on. (certain hat for Garden DLC orders etc.) 2. Pets change their hats depending on the tool that is currently used by the player 3. Pets change their hats depending on player's choice only.

As you already know, we're constantly trying to improve our brand new DLC, according to your feedback. Since our last patch notes, we've managed to fix some additional issues reported by our community, but most importantly, we added a teleport mechanic that helps your pets move around stairs. Most of you (if not every one of you, yikes) have been asking for it, so we're more than happy to implement it into the game! Like the previous patch notes, we've prepared a separate list for general issues and house/order-related fixes.
Quick disclaimer: Read till the end because we might have some surprises for you! But for now, let's get the bugs out of our house!
General fixes and changes:
Dogs, cats, and bunnies will now move between floors on their own via internal staircases, with no need to carry them up or down.
You can now put up to two guinea pigs inside one enclosure, instead of only one.
Improved pet randomization in Morganâs Pet Care and fixed the issue with new pets not generating in the next refresh cycle if all of them were taken by the player.
Cat hairballs are produced much less frequently now.
Adjusted mouth position of held dog toys and held paint cans to better fit each dog.
Your dogs will now drop held toys when you open their interaction menu, in a similar fashion to dropping held paint.
Your dogs can no longer carry paint when holding a toy in their mouth and vice versa.
Fixed paint cans having collision when carried by dogs, as well as randomly disappearing when carried in rare instances.
Fixed the issue with turtles getting stuck spinning indefinitely.
Fixed issues regarding feeding the turtle, the food will no longer disappear and interaction will properly fill out the bowl without the need for multiple feedings.
Fixed positions of cats laying on objects.
Rebalanced the timing of the pet needs and their behavior on jobs.
Fixed pets changing their colors when the game is reloaded.
Fixed some doors with little pet doors not having their intended functionality.
Fixed an issue with being unable to feed the hamster.
Fixed hamsterâs cage keytips.
Fixed house recognition issues when the player is on the roof.
House/Job specific fixes and changes:
The AnimalCaretaker: Fixed the issue with door frame deletion causing the wall to be filled out despite another door frame being present. Fixed issues related to selling the bathtub and its mounting point.
Lets Rock Right Meow (House) - Fixed wall near the balcony on the second floor being unpaintable.
KameHouse: Adjusted walking for pets, preventing them from floating in the air.
Okay now... How about the magic trick? From now on, you don't need to carry your doggos, kitties, and bunnies anymore! We gave them a pinch of magic so that everyone could feel a little Harry Potter vibes! As mentioned above, teleportation is a real thing. It's a kind of magic, isn't it?
Some while ago, weâve shown you that youâll be able to have two guinea pigs in one cage. Unfortunately, due to dozens of things we had to do before the release, we didnât manage to prepare it on time. Today everything changes, though. Two guinea pigs in one cage? Hold my beer!
The sound of drumrolls echoes through basements and pipes, and you already know something is coming! Suddenly, you realize that below this message, you can find a long-awaited friend that will come with a future update.
If house flipping wasn't enough, we have fantastic news for you! Frozen Way, as a co-producer of Builder Simulator, gives you a once-in-a-lifetime chance to create your own house from scratch! Get to grips with construction and feel like Bob the Builder!

Although House Flipper â Pets DLC was released on May 12th, 2022, it doesnât mean that our work has been finished. Since launch day, weâve received great feedback from you guys, and weâve managed to fix most of the bugs and issues that players have encountered while playing our brand new addition to the flipping family. Before we jump straight to the list of hotfixes, weâd like to thank you for the warm welcome weâve received so far. By the time of writing this update, 90% of you have enjoyed the DLC. Thank you for supporting us through all the positive reviews, and again, thank you so much for being with us â we wouldnât be at this place without your help.
When it comes to hotfixes, weâve prepared a general list of issues, and a separate list containing detailed information about specific house/order-related issues.
General fixes and changes:
Scaffolding can now be placed below the ground level.
Fixed duplicated button tip in the intro.
Updated visuals for the gender view of your pet.
Now each toy has a ghost left behind when picked up, as a preview of where it would return if you hid it.
Thrown toys picked from the ground will appear back in their place when thrown outside of bounds.
Picking up the toy when it's in the air no longer results in infinite duplication.
Reloading the map no longer duplicates all thrown toys.
The interaction menu no longer duplicates thrown toys.
Losing the pulling game with your dog no longer results in toy duplication.
Carried toys will no longer break when bought on a roof or other places without a floor in front of the player.
Toy landing in grass no longer results in a cut patch left.
Fixed mouse toy being too efficient at cutting weeds, but now other thrown toys are capable of it too.
Rope of the cat rod no longer bounces endlessly.
Cat rod no longer changes your field of view after hiding the tool.
Pulling Rope interaction now shows the key tip correctly.
Hands no longer change size after pausing and unpausing while your FOV is different than 60.
Fixed validation for pet name, sO yOuR tExT nO lOnGeR tUrNs InTo SoMeThInG lIkE tHiS wHeN yOu HoLd sHiFt.
Now your helper dog will put the paint down if interacted with.
It is now much easier to give paint to your dog, without your dog being busy when standing still.
Fixed ceiling lamp changing position when loading a save.
Fixed Cutibaly Enclosureâs and Vitto Garden Hammockâs missing materials.
Fixed error causing pets spawning on invalid floors
Fixed tiles having wrong names.
Fixed potential bugs caused by butterflies.
Pets will no longer cause optimization issues without being present.
Pet Gender is now visible on the interaction popup.
Fixed some issues related to pet fence gates.
It is now possible to name your pet while using a pad.
Fixed cleaning achievement not considering a small bathtub as valid.
Fixed crash related to pet eye randomization.
Fixed pet randomization in Morganâs Pet Care, the choices will be more varied now.
Your pets will no longer turn invisible randomly after placing a wall inside a house.
House/Job specific fixes and changes:
Let's rock right meow: (House) - Added ceiling to the small roof at the top. (House) - Fixed unpaintable ceiling on a small roof. (House) - Fixed unsellable electric sockets. (Job) - Fixed candle position. (Both) - Adjusted spawn position of the player. (Both) - Pets no longer fly near the garage.
Grade-A renovation: (House) - Fixed object container attachment, causing wrong shop view. (Job) - You can now sell the remaining wall materials after youâre 100% done with the corresponding room. (Job) - You can now sell the scaffolding after youâre 100% done with the furniture on the upper floor.
A chance to change: (Both) - Fixed Grass Placement to remove grass flickering. (House) - You can now paint the wall bits above the garage and the terrace.
Quality upgrade: (Both) - Adjusted collision of grass mower to fix window placement blocking. (House) - Enabled window and door placement in the corner of the ground floor.
The animal caretaker: (Both) - Fixed gravel placement by adjusting ground position. (Both) - Fixed floor material in the garage. (Job) - Now requires twelve fences instead of only one.
Home stretch: (Both) - Fixed ground position to remove the visible gap between the floor and the void. (House) - Enabled window and door placement on blocked walls on the ground floor near the garage.
More freedom: (Both) - Fixed missing roof collider.
Pets haven: (Both) - Grass can now be cut. (Job) - Fixed Mechin doors being assigned to the wrong room in the job.
Stowaway tenant: (Both) - Fixed Attic Beam position to allow proper placement of ceiling lamps.
Kame House: (House) - Adjusted walkable area of your pets. (House) - Fixed pets getting stuck in the boat.

Although this update focuses mainly on bug fixes, weâd also like to ask for your opinion! Many of you have wondered why pets (especially dogs and cats) wouldnât follow you on stairs. At first, we weren't sure about this, since stairs happen to be dangerous for animals, and surprisingly, this kind of mechanic would also be pretty problematic from the technical side. Nevertheless, since the release, we've received a huge amount of requests, so weâve come up with an idea which you can see below:

Last but not least, I personally talked to literally everyone involved with the development of Pets DLC on the release date... believe me, the stress was real, adrenaline pumpin, expectations were high, but we made it!
