It's been a while since our last development update, in which the main focus was on our meow friend 😺 We're glad that you like the progress we've made so far, and once again, we've wanted to thank you for your support! Today's development update will be unique – we've got a new trailer for ya, some new mechanics to show, and most importantly, we've finally got an exact release date! Ready to jump into the Cozy Village? Without further ado, let's get started!

It's been a while since we've shared some mechanics regarding man's best friend, so it's high time to share some of them with ya' all. We hope that you're gonna spend as much time as possible playing with your four-legged companion, because who doesn't love it, right?

Have you missed the parrots? We've missed them too, so we thought it would be the perfect time to show them to you. I'll be honest with you – they remind me of a strange but funny photo with wolves laughing. Can you guess which photo it is? Let us know in the comments!




We've also managed to prepare something special for those of you who cannot wait for some more marine creatures (or rather pets, right?). And trust me, you've got to see this because you're gonna love it as much as I do!




As you already know, House Flipper – Pets DLC will bring you, brand-new mechanics, such as ceiling painting (we’re glad that you love it), door and stair installation, but also you’ll have the opportunity to add some bulbs to brighten up your dream house. Recently, we’ve come up with some variations to the bulbs. Feel free to let us know what you think about them.






Oh… I almost forgot – some of the players already got a chance to play the DLC, and we're astonished by the creations they've made. Just check some of them below.

April Fools' Day came early this year - it's still the 31st of March where we live, but you can already download our newest update, duh!



Imagine you're one of the B.U.D.D.I.E.S living in New York with a bunch of the craziest people on this Earth. Strangely enough, someone is literally recording your life on camera, you're going viral all around the world, and people are obsessing over some weird gadgets with your face on them. Finally, it's the 1st of April, and it looks like your apartment appears in the BEST GAME about RENOVATING HOUSES. Geez, what a life!

I'm counting on you to FLIP THE HELL OUT OF THE NEW APARTMENTS, guys!



Do you remember Turtle House from last year? This time, we're releasing not one but TWO BRAND-NEW APARTMENTS!

New:
• Two new, quite friendly houses to flip!
  
• A new TV with hanging and standing mounting.
  
• Desk accessories.
  
• A lot of vinyls with timeless classics, like "Flip Me Baby One More Time", "Main Menu Theme" and "Hammer Time".
  
• New sizing options for Kevin window.
  
• New armchair in Emily set.
  
• A few designer helmets that can also be used as saucepans.
  
• Fridges and ranges in retro style.
  
• New sports equipment: football, hockey sticks.
  
• Doggy and turkey statues.
  
• New doors in all colors.
  
• A new rack with various variants.
  
• A new sofa.
  
• Just a regular armchair with no surprises.
  
• A retro armchair with a footstool.
  
• A new plushie. Haunting entity not included.
  
• A new carpet and panels.
  
• Two new tables and a tea table. You can't drink coffee on this one - it's a major offense.

• A loft window in three sizes.
  
• Pastel variants for all Snowman kitchen set items.
  
• New in Snowman kitchen set: sinks and a cabinet.
  
• New sizes for Gustum kitchen set shelves: 9.75, 15, 20, 25, 30, 50, and 69 cm.
  
• A bunch of color cosmetics with accessories.
  
• Three new posters. They will post all the time.

Changes:
• False advertising removed - the DLC filter will hide categories if there are no relevant items in them.
  
• (Luxury DLC) The Fazzo Chair renovation process was simplified (Forgotten Heritage job).

Fixes:
• The poinsettia will now be considered a valid choice in the "Christmas cleaning" job.
  
• Buyers won't dislike things they like anymore unless they don't like them.
  
• (Apocalypse DLC) Apocalypse buyers will share more information about their preferences, like plants or zombies.
  
• (Garden DLC) The pool shouldn't get scared and hide inside the house in "Job: Lawn and pool" anymore.
  
• (Luxury DLC) We've fixed the ocean evaporation speed in "Historic House".

As for the Steam Cloud issue - we've been a little bit inactive here for the last couple of days as we're just simply trying to figure out what goes wrong for those of you still experiencing Steam Cloud issues. We've been trying a handful of actions looking for a solution, but after going through our whole Steam Cloud configuration for House Flipper, it seems that everything should be working as intended.
That is why yesterday we decided to contact Steam staff for further research on the problem, and at the moment, we're waiting for their answer.

I will keep you informed when we manage to find any clues that may lead us to the source of this issue.

Hey Flippers!

After dozens of sleepless nights and hours of planning a strategy, I can finally share the news with you!
All the rumors are true - WE ARE WORKING ON HOUSE FLIPPER 2.
It's going to be better, smoother, and more engaging than its predecessor - it already is! I'm not going to tell you about all the cool stuff just yet, but I'm counting on you, people - I'm nearly sure you'll love it just as much as we do right now, even though it's still in the making.
And in the meantime, check out this EPIC TEASER - seriously, I could play it on repeat for HOURS.



With House Flipper marking almost four years of active development, gathering more than 3 million players from all around the world, and being released on all the major platforms, we're finally ready to share the big news with you.


We've released House Flipper a while ago, and we're still trying to process that it's been nearly four years since we've created this community. Game developing is a difficult job to do - we spend hours and hours creating the product in hopes that you guys will like it - and you always do. The amount of support we receive is hard to comprehend, which is why we decided to transform House Flipper into our own franchise.
We're still going to develop and support House Flipper 1, so you can expect upcoming DLCs and content updates; however, we've learned a lot since the beginning of our flipping adventure, and we want to use this experience to make something even better.

Speaking of upcoming DLCs, we're finally getting more information about the launch date of Pets DLC, along with some extra sneak peeks from the developers.

As you can see we're doing our best to make Pets DLC meaningful not only for the fans craving animals in the game but also for those flippers who are much more interested in the core House Flipper gameplay.

As the last Pets DLC devlog came out some time ago already, here are some fresh chunks of exciting news. This time we're showcasing a couple of more exotic animals that are also going to appear in the DLC. Iguanas, snakes, and spiders might be scary for some, but for others, those are the most exciting species to keep as a pet!
Please note that during completing the Pets DLC jobs, you will not face any of those "spookier" animals, but you will be able to adopt them if you wish to do so.

We just wanted to let you know that our survey regarding Farm DLC has finished, and we’re speechless! We’ve gathered more than 10,000 completions overall, and there are no words that can describe how we feel now. Huge thanks to you guys for taking the time to share your feedback with us!



What is more, when it comes to our open-ended questions, you guys provided over 4000 answers, and now we will spend some time analyzing each and every one of them. Keep in mind that these results do not guarantee certain choices to be implemented in the game, but we will strongly consider all the options you'd like to see in the DLC.

Another year, another update - the tiger is here, folks!



This update is targeted mainly at Cyberpunk DLC as we felt it would be great to expand it a little. Bright colors, piñatas, and so much more is at your disposal - let us know if you liked this one!



Creating content for you is always joyful, but there's something we're extremely excited about, and we'll show it to you on our developer stream - come visit us on 2nd of February, 6 pm CET/12 am EST - twitch.tv/frozen_district

New:
- (Cyberpunk DLC) There are two new houses available for purchase. Even if you never asked for this.

Changes:
- The tablet software was updated to the latest version.
- (Garden DLC) Gardening tools will now stay unlocked in all jobs.

Fixes:
- Recycled light switches will cease to function no more.
- We've summoned a new ghost, which will reignite all the lit candles upon your return to any house.
- Changelog images won't be affected by quality settings anymore.
- (macOS) We've tweaked tablet previews of some items, so they resemble their in-game appearance more.

Our Xmas update came out a few hours ago, and we don't want to brag or anything, but judging by your comments on our social media platforms - IT'S GREAT!



We're glad you guys liked it, as it was our attempt to say "thank you for being here with us in 2021". This year is heading to its end, and there's not much left to do other than wish you the happiest Xmas ever.
We feel everyone who thinks that 2021 was rough - even though it was great for House Flipper, it's still a year of the plague.

We keep our fingers crossed in hopes that 2022 will be easy on us all (@Adele).

Also, here's the full changelog for the update:

New:

• A new holiday house is ready for festive flipping!
  
• New lamps: Hazzi ceiling lamp, Hazzi sconce, Tabulae ceiling lamp, Hazzi table lamp, Hazzi floor lamp.
  
• A lot of new festive ornaments and sizing options for Christmas trees.
  
• Plenty of new kitchen cabinets.
  
• Say hello to Barry - the Lizzums' Hamster!
  
• 6 new panels and tiles for walls and floors.
  
• 3 new windows.
  
• New dining room set with a lot of variants.

• Ever wanted your game to stutter every 30 minutes? Yeah, neither did we, so we've fixed that.
  
• Underworld portals were removed from the pools.
  
• Various edges were smoothed out a bit. They shouldn't get in your way anymore.
  
• You won't be able to levitate over pools in the Turtle House anymore.
  
• Some houses were missing in Discord rich presence - missing they are no more.
  
• Sidewalls of the Castle's roofs may now be painted.
  
• (HGTV) We've removed the crash Easter egg from the Two Story Semi-detached House.
  
• (Luxury) We've lifted the renovation ban on the Historic House's terrace.
  
• (HGTV & Luxury) Creative tasks symbols were removed from before-after photoshoots
