Hello again everyone, this is update #1 and it includes many fixes to the bugs a lot of you were having. There are some in theory fixes because I was not able to replicate some of the problems you guys were having and so I applied some code patches based on what I think would be the problem and how I would fix it. There may be some fixes and changes left out, please do report anything that you find!
The changes are as follows...
Changing time in photo mode now updates the car's reflection.
Camera now resets when leaving photo-mode
Photo mode UI resets when leaving photo-mode
Clouds ambient intensity now changes with the time of day.
Updated tree shader to include CrossFadeUV support.
Music volume in garage and carlot now reflects saved music volume.
Fixed language start not popping up on first launch
Disabled map selection until mod support is added
Fixed missing characters in Chinese (Simplified), Chinese (Traditional), Japanese, and Korean. (If there are any more missing characters please let me know)
In theory fix for Camera Matrix Error that caused not being able to click buttons.
In theory fix for shader errors causing blank screen at start.
Wheel names were changed.
Fixed not being able to buy/see TypeX tailights.
Fixed tailights not showing brake maps (tailights not working)
Fixed blinker/hazard light calls (Blinkers now work)
Fixed vehicle spawning in broken when first buying it
Made popup lights show when upgrading in garage.
Added headlight key to control menu.
Added foglight key to control menu
Added automatic fog-light control. (If off, you can toggle foglights with the foglight key independent of headlights)
Made control menu close when closing menu with escape.
Fixed camera rotating while paused
Fixed default volume being 0
Fixed copied rims not saving.
Changed beloved crash dummy model to something more fitting (future plans for completely customizable character for use offline and online)
Made driver seating position more natural
Added customization category dialog when buying parts (You will now know what you are upgrading if it doesn't explicitly show in the part name)
Fixed being able to pause menu during fade in sequence
Added launch parameter commands (READ BELOW FOR USAGE)
Exposed developer console with parameter commands
Added controller maps for Thrustmaster TH8A and T3PA
Added controller maps for Logitech Wingman 2 and 3
Map extension in progress, please do not report the clipping map pieces as they are not errors.
How To Use Launch Parameters
Launch parameters or 'command line parameters' are used to make changes to the program outside of in-game settings, this is useful if you'd like to force a certain language or setting in the game.
There are only a couple parameters so far but they will expand as they are very useful for testing and fixing things with the game if there happens to be a bug.
Launch Parameters
-console Enables the developer console for special commands and direct access to the game's log file.
-fullscreen Forces fullscreen regardless of in-game settings.
-window Forces windowed mode regardless of settings
-H Allows you to define a specific height for the game's resolution. Example: -H1080 will output a height of 1080.
-W Allows you to define a specific width for the game's resolution. Example: -W1920 will output a width of 1920.
-language Forces the game to run in a certain language (that is officially supported). Example: -english will run the game in english, -chinese_traditional will run the game in traditional Chinese, etc.
I hope this update fixes everyones problems and there are more to come!
Hello everyone, as you know the launch was a littl erough because of some major bugs and in an effort to correct them as soon as possible, I attempted to look over everything that may have been problematic and apply a fix to it. Some of the problems you have been experienced were not able to be replicated and therefore an attempted fix was applied to those bugs. However, since I did not experience/replicate them, these fixes are only in theory. I hope this corrects the problems you are having and enjoy Jidousha Shakai!

Applied temporary fix to corrupted drop down menu labels, looking into solution on how to fix them.
Hide HUD during photo-mode

Audio/Volume dying out on second run or upon exiting garage
Error when starting jidousha shakai/permanent grey screen
On the most recent update of Jidousha Shakai, some very strong strides were accomplished.
Shader Updates
Shader updates include car paint, skybox, glow, tree shaders, and more! This means Jidousha Shakai is more beautiful than ever!
Lush Trees
Tree's in general aren't too hard to accomplish in a Unity game, but when there is many of them and they are very detailed then performance becomes a problem with Draw Calls. You can usually help free up performance with batching, instancing, and mainly reducing details in the trees, but this only goes so far. To help combat this, Jidousha Shakai now uses an advanced tree LOD system to fade in billboard trees at far distances while keeping nice, lush, trees at the close range.
Lighting Upgrades
A long awaited feature for many racing games was light upgrades. Headlights, tailights, bulbs, and popup configurations are now available in Jidousha Shakai. Are you feeling like a nice JDM yellow bulb with some angry eyes? You got it! Are you feeling maybe more classy with some 9000k Iceberg bulbs? Help your self! Not only headlights, but foglight bulbs and upgrades are now available.
Fixed Localization
The reason for Jidousha Shakai's delay was mainly due to localization, but now that is not a problem because our dynamic font's were fixed and now display full Russian and CJK (Chinese, Japanese, Korean) unicode! Play Jidousha Shakai with more languages than ever.

Hello all, it has come to my attention that the creators of 'Drift Streets Japan' may have indirectly claimed 'Jidousha Shakai' as their creation and are taking credit for it on a Facebook alterantive known as VK. I'd like to clear up that CloudWeight Studios is an American company based out of Los Angeles, California and is not in any way, shape, or form related to the creators of 'Drift Streets Japan'. If you are a member of one of these pages and you see this behavior happening, please notify us directly so we may get the incident solved promptly. If any of these groups ask you for money, donations, or anything of monetary value, please do not provide them with it as CloudWeight Studios only operates from the approved websites listed below. I have contacted many of you who are testers to give your support in helping localize (translate) Jidousha Shakai to your native languages in order to give the game more reach. I have received an overwhelming amount of translations am implementing them now. I appreciate everyone's continued support and am looking forward to much more community involvement in the future.
