So, who is Liz Katz? A total video game, fantasy game, comic book, and sci-fi fan, she began cosplaying professionally in 2012 after winning IGN's Best Cosplay at WonderCon 2012. With that in mind, you can definitely expect Liz’s in-game persona to bring plenty of exciting props, costumes, and items to the party, too!

But she’s not just a major cosplay babe, you might also know her from her acting endeavors or as the voice of Bloodshine in Borderlands 3. And, yeah, brahs, she’ll be doing the full voice acting for her House Party story, as well.

She’s also a YouTuber and Twitch streamer, and she’s been a big House Party fan since she first played it in 2020. She knows the party, loves the party, and adores House Party’s players.

One of the upcoming guests will be female and the other will be male. That way, we can satisfy the overwhelming demand for more female characters, while also ensuring that male-preferring players have another partier to bond with!

We’re taking your responses to heart so we can make the best possible House Party experience for as many players as we can! We’ve got a lot of information on possible directions to take future content for the game now, and we hope you’re looking forward to seeing us put your feedback into action!

The House Party - New Content Expansion Pack was actually created just for this purpose. It will bring new content to satisfy players who want more original story, characters, and characters based on the House Party universe!

It will also feature a new type of clothing that was most highly requested from the feedback form and incorporate a handful of written suggestions that were sent in at the bottom of the survey. It was made for you, brahs, so we hope you enjoy it! 🔥



For those of you who are looking forward to more real-life guests joining the fun (instead of more House Party universe content), the House Party - Murder Mystery Expansion Pack will still be releasing this summer, as originally planned.

As mentioned in previous news posts, our next real-life guest is excited to personally introduce herself to you... in a special custom-made costume. Everything is being finalized for this, and we're preparing to share the big announcement with you within a couple of weeks!

We hope you're looking forward to officially meeting the new guest! We’re sure she’s going to, like, totally steal your heart, brahs! 😉

If you're familiar with House Party console commands already, then we're sure you're hyped for what this means for the next DLC. But, if you've not used them, these built-in codes will let you effortlessly do a ton of things with the new character! 🔥




Here are some things console commands will let you do with the new guest:

• Make her chest, head, hands, butt, and feet bigger or smaller
  
• Remove her clothing
  
• Give her various items to hold
  
• Change her personality traits
  
• Boost her friendship, romance, and drunk levels
  
• Have her do various poses for you
  
• Move her to various locations around the house
  
• And play intimacy scenes with her on command!

As mentioned before, custom stories are not approved at this time for use with the House Party - Murder Mystery Expansion Pack guest.

Still, we hope you're stoked for what console commands will mean for the next DLC! They should give you tons of creativity to play the next expansion pack with, so we’re thrilled that she was cool with allowing them!

Also, we built House Party based on player feedback, and that's how it became the game it is today. But, as the player base has grown, it's harder for our team to know what the community as a whole wants for the game. 📋

The type of player who enjoys House Party has expanded. Some players ask for more male romanceable NPCs, while others don't want more males. Some community members say they love the Doja Cat DLC, while we’ve heard from many more who just want more NSFW 18+ content. Some commenters want more celebrities in the game, and others want more House Party characters. And some want us to prioritize Office Party, while others want us to keep supporting House Party with fresh content.

It's important to us to make a game that as many of you love as possible. Whether that means adding more characters of different genders, NSFW 18+ guests, or DLCs based around non-guest characters, we want to hear from you!

House Party Version 1.0.9 is out now! If you like getting creative with House Party, you'll love the Custom Story Creator changes we made, doods and lady-doods.

Have you ever dreamed of making a party where everyone gets turned on as soon as you take off your shirt? Or where the whole party gangs up on Patrick? Or where all the guests meet up in the living room for a sweet no-pants-allowed dance party?

Yeah. Us too! That’s why we made it way, way easier to create those kinds of stories and much more with an awesome new feature called "CharacterGroup" behaviors. These let you work faster and more effectively to create more complex stories than ever before.



How does it work? You can now create targeted groups of Characters and use GameEvent, Criteria, Event Trigger, and/or CriteriaGroup behaviors on them selectively or en masse. Not all GameEvents and Criteria are available for use with this system, but this should be super cool nonetheless!

If you've worked with the Custom Story Creator before, you’ll understand the relief and creative potential now that you no longer have to send one-on-one instructions to them. This is huge, dudes!

Character groups should allow there to be more varied custom stories made by both new and experienced creators alike. We're stoked to see how you guys use this sweet new story-crafting superpower.



Several previous issues regarding past updates breaking custom stories have also been fixed, so your current stories should work as intended again! We've made significant optimizations that will notably reduce the UI "lag" experienced when manipulating many CSC elements, dropdowns, text fields, and so on, too.

(Note: The new optimizations required minor changes to the CSC UI. Some functionalities like sorting/arranging elements are now controlled strictly through user-interactable elements like arrows, the copy/paste functions, and insert/remove.)



Update 1.0.9 also irons out some bugs (some of which were not just minor annoyances), adds some story and engine improvements, and includes a fresh new Spanish translation!

We've continued making progress on the user interface and functionality for selecting a holiday DLC pack, too. We still have more mechanics to work on before we can tie DLCs into the engine and bundle the Winter and Halloween holidays into individual downloadable packs, but we're making good progress!

Plus, we added those two new objects around the party that will be used in our next guest expansion pack! If you want a sneak peek at what’s to come, explore the house and let us know what you think the new fixtures will be used for!

A new quality of life House PArty update will be dropping soon, doods! We're making good progress on some not-so-minor requested bug fixes as well as working on some major Custom Story improvements we hope you'll love!

We see many of you asking who the next guest will be. We're not trying to keep any secrets (check out those leg tattoos!), but our special guest wants to introduce herself to you personally with a custom costume.

She's working on it noW, so we hope you're stoked for the official announcement and title reveal in March!

The packs will allow you to enjoy the Halloween and Winter seasonal events whenever you want year-round. We're still working on getting the toggle on/off feature ready, making some tweaks, and packaging everything into organized dLCs. They’ll both be ready within the next few months (ETA of Q1 2023 for Halloween and Q2 2023 for Winter)!

We know these holiday packs are coming out at kind of odd times of the year now. We didn't expect to prep them for perManency and add the toggle feature, but we hope you're still glad we listened to your requests to toggle the content and for the limited-time events to come back permanently!
