We’re kicking off the next update with tweaks to the CutScene system, like better allowing Player and non-Player cutscenes to co-exist, and making sure Achievement Pop-Ups aren't interrupting those nice cinematic moments you worked so hard to unlock!

And we still have more fixes we'd like to add as we work on update 1.0.2, too! Please keep in mind that these changes are not live yet, but they will arrive in our next stable release.

After-Party Bug Fixes & Performance Updates Arrive In House Party Stable Release 1.0.1!



The exciting post-release after-party is here, doods and lady-doods!

If you've been watching our updates lately, you know that the Doja Cat DLC is coming along awesomely, and we're still working super hard on improving the base game, too! Also, we're proud to announce that House Party's Stable Release 1.0.1 is available to all players now!

What's in this fancy new release? Well, before House Party left Early Access, we added some of the biggest graphical improvements that the party had seen thus far, and we also added some pretty graphically intense cutscenes. In this update, we worked hard to account for these graphical upgrades by adding a ton of optimization improvements!

We have also significantly reduced the memory that House Party uses, increased the frame rate of the game, improved frame drop and game lag issues in the yard (which were reported by multiple partiers), and fixed several crashing and stability problems. The game should be a much smoother and consistent experience for everyone going forward!

Thanks to these changes, House Party also runs smoother on the Steam Deck! You should find that the game now plays great on Ultra settings.

Of course, a handful of bug fixes and other changes to existing content were added in this update, too! It should be much harder for characters to accidentally fall outside the game world (total party foul right?), new translation components were added to the "hard coded" English text so translators can make more progress on localization, and we improved some sight check/culling check settings.

You can also now grab more items around the house, and keen-eyed players might spot a few mysterious, spoilery items hanging out and about in the game world!

While we’ve been busy getting rid of bugs around the house and working on creating the Doja Cat DLC, Doja shared a sweet teaser showing off her look in CGI form! Watch it below:

Since we last checked in, we've fixed a few more Version 1.0 bugs (suggested by our community), and we've been working in the background on various game and memory management tweaks so we can keep the party going smoothly all night long!



Alongside the female story bug fixes, we’re also going all-out on making the Doja Cat DLC! Don’t forget to wishlist it, and keep an eye out for teasers that will be hitting our social media in the near future!

And that’s not the only exciting teaser we have for you all. Now that House Party is officially out of Early Access, we've had the chance to shift a bit of our focus to working on Office Party (House Party's sequel).

Here's a quick sneak peek of a rad, much-requested feature that is still in very early development for our next title:



The image above shows some of the options you can choose for your character’s eyes in Office Party. We also plan to add even more body and facial customization, including other body adjustments (you know the ones, *wink*) that are not dependent on a binary male or female gender decision.



The Polish language translation for House Party Version 1.0 is now available, as well! We’re still refining it a bit, but you should be able to enjoy the female playthrough just fine!

Waiting for a different language to be added? We have a couple more translations coming in the next few weeks, and you can always check with our Discord team for more exact updates on when specific languages will be ready!
