Hell yeah! Next week, House Party leaves Early Access! We're getting the female player's story all prepped for Version 1.0 to go live, and here's a peek at the changes we've been working on:
- We reworked The Muse (storyline for Madison and Derek), the Sibling Warfare (storyline for Ashley), and Vickie’s endurance test to better fit the female player. - We added a new sleeping mask item… Can you figure out what it’s for? - Not only can you now bond with Derek, but we made it so the female player can now ask him for help and advice on a variety of topics. He’s not your long-time buddy anymore, but he’s still happy to help you find your way around the party! - We added and adjusted LOADS of dialogue and responses for a bunch of characters to smooth out gameplay for the female player across the entire Original Story. The characters most affected by these changes are Brittney, Derek, Madison, Rachael, and Vickie, but almost every character has something new for you to discover!! - We updated almost all of the romance scenes in the game to work with the female player, including dialogue and context, and redesigned much of the hookup logic to provide a more fulfilling experience for her. We plan on polishing the romance scenes even further and will add new cutscenes in our first update after the Doja Cat DLC launches! - We made it so the female player can now ask Brittney to move to another location, provided that the player has done something to help her out first. Are you a good enough friend to help Brittney mingle? - We updated poses so male poses in the Original Story are now replaced by female poses whenever appropriate. ...and much more!
These changes aren't live yet, but we're excited to bring them live in our upcoming update when we officially leave Early Access next week. We hope you’ll have fun exploring the new content when it drops!
We hope you doods and doodettes had an awesome 4th of July this year chilling at concerts, gatherings, and BBQs. Hopefully, you remembered to set off a few extra fireworks this year to celebrate House Party leaving Early Access soon, too!
With House Party almost out of Early Access, don't forget that we'll be prepping the Doja Cat DLC to share with everyone. Can you believe it's almost time to party with Doja? Add the DLC to your wishlist now so you know as soon as it goes live this fall:
Did you miss Ava's “Let’s NOT Play” stream last night?
Well, dood, it was awesome, and you missed out big time! But that's actually okay, because it's all recorded, so you can still check out the saved version on her Twitch!
So kick back, crack open a cold one, and get ready to laugh as Ava reacts to playing House Party off-screen during this chill and funny play session: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1525622475
Two More Weeks Until House Party Exits Early Access! Here’s An Update On Our Progress And Goals For The Female Player's Story:
While the male and female will have similar stories, the female player will have some unique content compared to the male. Here's how it will be different:
- She will have a brand new reason for being invited to the party. Derek won’t be the one who invited her...so, who do you think it will be? - Since she won’t have the same brahmance with Derek as the male character, she’ll have a different way to bond with your favorite OG buddy! - NPCs will greet and react to her differently. - There will be different background chatter to overhear around the party. - There will be a new story item (and it may look familiar)! - There will be new female-specific Objectives to complete. - We will be fixing a ton of player-reported bugs. - She will have romance storylines much like that of the male character, and we will be adding new female player romance content both before and after we leave Early Access for you to enjoy! We are also planning other post-release updates that will include more bug fixes, polish, and content!
Please keep in mind that these changes are NOT live yet, but they are a preview of what is coming soon! We're working hard to get it ready as soon as possible, and we can't wait to share all of the new female content with everyone!
Edit: Ava's House Party stream got postponed due to travel issues, but keep an eye on the House Party socials and Ava's Twitter for the rescheduled time!
Twitch Sensation Ava Is Streaming A House Party “Let’s NOT Play” from 6pm CST tomorrow *event start time to be updated on her socials @ AvaGG in the evening.*
She’s one of the most popular, carefree, and lovable female gamers on Twitch, and her main loves in life are beer and video games. If you think she sounds like the perfect streamer to explore the party, you're right!
It’s a “Let’s NOT Play” cause, you know… we’re still banned on Twitch. Ava will NOT be playing House Party on Twitch. Well, she’ll be playing it, but she won’t be showing it. You get the picture. Or maybe you won’t, cause you won’t see what she’s doing, but she’ll be playing off-screen, reacting, and talking about House Party coming out of Early Access and the upcoming Doja Cat DLC.
Crack open your Natty Lites and settle in for an awesome time! She’s hyped to play House Party for all of you, so don’t miss it, dudes!
Kick back, get ready for a chill time, and click here to watch it at 6pm CST tomorrow: https://www.twitch.tv/avagg

After five years of development, House Party is leaving Steam Early Access on July 15th!
This is a huge milestone, and we’re stoked to finally be releasing the game after so many years of hard work.
At that point, the female player will be live and House Party will be a complete game, but we still have more to add - including her steamy threesome cutscenes, quality of life updates, VR, House Party DLC expansion packs (like this fall's Doja Cat DLC), and more!
We’re also planning a sequel to House Party, called Office Party, which we’ll start developing soon!
And, don't forget, the Steam Summer Sale starts soon! This will be our biggest sale for a while (50% off the base game and 69% off the explicit DLC), so be sure to get House Party on sale now before it fully releases!
Follow us on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram for the latest brah-some game updates and announcements. Be sure to join our after party on Discord too!
In our last few major story updates, we’ve had the opportunity to add a bunch of really cool LGBTQ+ content to the game.
Back when we were a one-man dev team, adding stuff like the Frank and Derek stories, the Vickie threesome cutscenes, and the full female playthrough would never have been possible, but we’re really happy now to have an amazing team that has made adding gay, bisexual, and lesbian content to House Party possible.
Thanks a bunch for supporting us, and we’re really excited to see what’s in store for House Party’s future DLC content and Office Party! We hope everyone has an awesome pride month!
Female Player First Look, Bug Fixes, and Progress Update
In our female player first look, we shared the framework for the female player, which included a thorough first pass through the existing male content and a bunch of tone, pronoun, and wording tweaks to make you feel at home in the party as the female player.
The next update will finalize a lot of the female player’s content, include some unique story for the female player, and it will fix a bunch of bugs that everyone reported during playtesting!
We can’t share too many details about the female’s unique story content yet, but we can list a few of the bugs we fixed that you’ve been asking about! Here’s our best attempt at trying to make just a small portion of our internal patch notes Steam appropriate:
We fixed a bug that allowed the female player to trigger reactions from NPCs as if they’d been “ejected” on.
Inside intimacy cutscenes, NPCs will now have a sensitivity of 1 in the base game. This will help prevent premature and doubled up “happy times” in cutscenes where an NPC and another character are close enough to get turned on via proximity.
We fixed an issue that allowed characters to repeatedly step backwards instead of walking to a target.
We fixed a problem that could cause cutscenes to occasionally become erroneously paused immediately after they had started.
Users can now save a game manually without inputting a custom save game name (this will use a date and playtime-based timestamp).
We fixed a problem that could cause noticeable camera sway when the female player was in a certain pleasure-giving pose (pose 10).
We fixed an issue that caused extremely unpleasant camera twitching when the female player was receiving certain pleasure acts.
We hope these changes make your experience playing House Party smoother and more enjoyable. Keep in mind that these bug fixes are not live yet, but they will be coming in our next update!
But…Eek! Team, when IS the Female Player going live?
We don’t have an official date right now, but we shared in our AMA with the Eek! Games founders that House Party will leave Early Access in July, and we plan to have her base story completed by then!
We’ve had a ton of stuff going on with the lead-up to launch, and we really appreciate how patient everyone has been. This is a seriously exciting time for the game, and, between the female story and the Doja Cat DLC, we have a ton of really awesome stuff to share with everyone in these next few months!

"How's it going, dudes? Staying away from the alcohol?"
These past couple of months have been a blur for our team, and we know we’ve been a bit quiet lately.
But the good news is, we’ve been working like crazy on a bunch of really awesome milestones:
Finalizing the female player’s story
Getting ESRB and USK18 rated (so we’re available in Germany again)
Getting House Party ready to exit Early Access
Working with Doja Cat and her team to conceptualize her storyline so we can start developing it right after House Party launches
Still, we don’t like staying so quiet, so we’ve decided to do smaller, more frequent Steam news updates with more sneak peeks of bugs we’re fixing, exclusive access about content we’re working on, stories about the team, and more.
These will be smaller, bite-sized posts, and we hope they’ll serve as cool inside-look updates during times when we’re crunching on larger patches for longer periods of time.
Bring Your Brahsomest Community Content, Brahs!
As part of our more frequent updates, we thought it’d be really cool to start featuring community content in our Steam posts.
This is something we haven’t really done before, but you dudes post awesome House Party stuff all the time, and we’d like to show off some of that cool and funny stuff you create!
To kick this off and celebrate and just because we love you guys, we decided to do a free merch giveaway on our official Discord to the player who submits the most awesome fan content.
1st place will receive a Frank “How’s It Going, Dude?” t-shirt and 2nd & 3rd place will each receive a House Party mug of their favorite character.
The rules are that the content has to be SFW (so we can share it on Steam and social media), House Party related, and created or taken by you (please don’t steal other peoples’ stuff, dudes).
It can be…
Fan art
Screenshots
Merch selfies
Funny let's plays
Character cosplays
Memes
…or anything else you can think of
Just post it in our Discord #community-content channel to participate!

In addition to a live questionnaire segment, we'd love to hear any questions you’d like us to cover in the comment section below 🙂
We look forward to updating you guys on all the new and exciting stuff going on behind the scenes at Eek!
Oh, and maybe we'll have some cool special guests joining us, too...
Although we haven't prepared new Original Story content for her quite yet, you can now play as a female character (on the Steam testing branch, more below)! We've done a thorough first pass through the existing content and made a bunch of tone, pronoun, and wording tweaks to make you feel at home in the party as the female player! Unfortunately, we have not had the time to get voiced lines for much of this alternate content or fully convert all intimacy sequences, but bear with us! We’re working on it!
Since adding her is a huge task, this update will be a little different than what you're used to. We'll be splitting this update into two pieces: A live update for all users with fully functional controller support and quality of life fixes and a testing update containing controller support, quality of life fixes, and the female character first look.
This will give Steam players the opportunity to experiment with the female player and give us feedback as we work through adding more of her content! This also means that your game will automatically update to the version with controller support, but you will need to opt in to the Steam Testing Update if you would like to try the version with the female player first look.
We decided to do the update this way because we didn't want the female character to be unplayable the entire time we worked on her (since we'll probably be working on her until around the time we exit Early Access). Releasing the female player first look as a Steam Testing Update and gradually updating it from there will allow a big chunk of players to try her early and give us feedback as we work on bringing her full content into the game!
Controller support is also fully functional, and we added some general House Party polish and UI improvements to this update. You can play the game without any major hang-ups on all supported controllers and the Steam Deck. We still plan on adding some quality of life features and fixes in the future to fine-tune how everything feels, but, as it is now, it's completely playable.
If you're curious about the polish we added, some notable changes are that we adjusted the colors for most of the interactable UI elements so they're easier to see and fixed some cutscene issues that could cause them to get stuck. We also added a garage cutscene and a Frank mini oral scene in the yard.
Leading up to our release from Early Access later this year, we'll be adding some quality of life features to controller support, polishing and bug fixing the hell out of the base game, and adding a lot more Original Story content, voice acting, and intimacy-specific tweaks and fixes for the female player.
Thanks for being the coolest partiers ever and staying patient as we worked through the hurdle of uncensoring Lety's content in our last update. We're sorry for the delay, and we hope you have fun playing as a female! We're excited to add more of her story as we get closer to House Party's exit from Early Access!
Ready to try out the new update? Right-click House Party in your Steam Library, navigate to the “Betas” tab, use the drop-down menu to select the "Testing" option, and hit "Close!" You're all set! Be sure to report any bugs you find in the female player first look, and let us know if there are more quality of life fixes you'd like to see added to controller support. Enjoy the update, doods!
Note: Updates labelled as “Testing”, “Beta”, and/or “First Look” contain unfinished and untested content. Placeholders may be present for dialogue and various assets. Older save files may no longer be compatible. Custom stories may no longer function as intended. Translations may also be incomplete. Controller support is nearly finished, but if you do run into issues, you may need to temporarily use your keyboard/mouse to restore normal functionality.
What's up, totally cool-muy bueno-fellow party persons? We just wrapped up House Party version 0.21.2, which is a fairly small but much-needed maintenance update that brings the party closer to our ultimate goal of being...dope sickness...on fleek...lit…
Alright, we'll keep it together and give you a quick rundown: We're making good progress toward getting full controller support and an initial version of the female player beta ready for you guys to check out in our next big stable release, so it won't be much longer until you can officially play as House Party's female protagonist! We know you're stoked to test the waters of muy caliente girl-on-girl love gameplay, so we're working hard to get her into the party as soon as possible!
Speaking of hotness at the party, you may have realized your favorite sultry Spanish teacher has been looking a little...well, covered in black bars for the last couple of updates. Unfortunately, Steam updated the rules policy regarding depicting real people in video games, which raised some concerns about Lety's content. To stay on the safe side and not risk having the game or any major part of it completely removed, we were forced to censor her for a short time while we got everything figured out and learned more about the new rules.
If you've read House Party's title screen or any of our interviews, you already know we're not fans of censorship. We weren't happy to censor Lety's content all of the sudden on you guys, so we prioritized getting this fixed as soon as we could. Thankfully, we were able to discuss the content directly with Steam's team and made adjustments to get Lety uncensored again! In this update, she's no longer restricted by those ugly black bars so, as long as you own the Explicit Content DLC, you can now see her again in all of her sexy cool kid extraordinaire glory with this update!
We also have some bonus good news on the anti-censorship side of things. Before this update, we had to censor everything body-wise, at all times, in the non-explicit version of the game. However, in this update, we'll no longer have upper body mosaic censors on characters regardless of explicit DLC ownership or installation. This is a huge win for House Party!
We hope you're looking forward to these changes and thanks for being patient while we fixed this, dudes. We know it was probably shocking and frustrating to have her content unexpectedly blacked out, and we weren't expecting the rules to change on us like that. As a mature game we always have to tread carefully with our content, and as a small development team we appreciate you guys allowing us extra time to get it fixed.
Anyway, onward to the next update! We're running a bit behind on our original timeline estimate, so we've gotta cruise. In the meantime, enjoy the maintenance changes and having your passionate times with Lety back to normal. Remember...no grabbing, guys, NO GRABBING!
Follow us on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram for the latest brah-some game updates and announcements. Be sure to join our after party on Discord too!
Note: Older save files may no longer be compatible. Custom stories may no longer function as intended. Note on Controller Support: Controller support is still not yet fully complete in its current state. If you run into significant trouble while using a controller, you may need to temporarily use your keyboard/mouse. Sorry for any inconveniences, doods!
