Thea 2: The Shattering - A'vee
While work continues internally on Research-related stuff, here's a small patch with other things we've done recently.

- Added system to event editor to add and remove resources to/from world
- Choosing Scoundrel character from God Traits now also gives another character - Rat
- Added cemetery location to Starting biome
- Added tooltips on materials placed on Workbench panel on Recipe screen
- Added Tags tab tooltips on Equip screen
- Increased damage done by basic attack above lvl 1
- Further changes to event triggering system to not draw events which were recently used
- Change to Ruins difficulty setting - previously this setting controlled the number of ruins spawned, now it affects their difficulty
- Paperdoll/Characters List view preference on Equip screen now keeps its state between games
- Show Equipped toggle on Equip screen now keeps its state between games

- All active shielding skills now give the same amount of shielding in each challenge
- Hunter's base Perception is increased by 1

- Fixed info for Quick, Cover! and Blessed Armour skills
- Fixed carry limit warning when equal to maximum
- Fixed incorrect morale mechanics on buildings
- Fixed missing icons on recently added skills

- Fixed a 'Rusalka' event that could cause a lock
- Fixed a spawned house that did not disappear and gave xp
- Fixed several events where missing groups could cause a lock (Leshy and Leshy 2 for example, also the Quarry event)
- Fixed missing trader in bear snake and cat quest, also added a tag to this quest so that it will not trigger again unless you completed its second part
- Tweaked a goblin encounter where having an orc would block any 'nice' options
- Tweaks to orc growing up, now there is a chance to get a full warrior and bloodtracker, not just the 'scarred' ones
- Increased the price for a cat in the first Slavyan village, but also added a chance for a better cat
- Minor fixes to various other events

Today marks a newest chapter in the expansion of Thea universe. Thea: The Awakening becomes available on Nintendo Switch and you will be able to play on February 1st.

Thea 2: The Shattering - A'vee
- Improvements to Autoresolve - now better cards are played first to avoid heavy losses when children and weak characters were harmed in easy win fights
- Unlocking a resource now provides 10 resource of that type to Gods Chosen's group (if the Chosen is dead, you will not get the resources).
- Settlements now have 3 crafting tasks slots by default (Camps still have 2)
- Enemies covered by fog are no longer visible
- Quest markers should now be visible above the fog
- Added building tooltip to Settlement Info screen
- Event Editor - Added support for TAG-FOREST_TYPE and TAG-RIVER_BANK for IsTerrain editor script for events. Forests and River banks checks should bring a number of events that previously never had a chance to appear
- Tab key can now be used to switch between player's groups
- Idol and ships can now be built from bone
- Show Resources button can now be toggled during end turn phase
- Added 3d model for Czort
- Added 3d model for the Alchemist

- Fixed a soft-lock when a player received multiple event invitations in co-op
- Crafting tasks screen - item stats tooltip should now show correct values, taking into account bonus from advanced and expert recipes
- Disabled the ability to open god selection screen after countdown has started in MP lobby and blocked the Back button
- Fixed a crash related to toggling a list of skills in card game if the list has multiple pages
- Fixed info for building skills that increase crafting or gathering
- Fixed a crash when opening tag search functionality in the event editor
- Fixed problems with selecting your own group in co-op when it was stacked with the hosting player's group
- Fixed incorrect trigger info on Shields Up skill
- Disabled access to group screens through group alert buttons during end turn phase
- Fixed ship being dismantled when the group constructed another ship of the same type
- Sightly changed card layout in player's hand during a challenge so that other UI elements do not get blocked
- Fixed unlocked resources still being shown gray on the world map
- Fixed paging on various screens, locking the page when the last element from the current page was removed
- Fixed not being able to view groups on the first node of an event
- Fixed 1H/2H icons sometimes being shown on non-weapon items in inventory
- Fixed issues arising from access to the crafting/gathering screen for the camp after it has been broken down to expedition (by clicking on turn summary buttons)

- Fixed goblin growing up event
- Tweak to Slavyan village buying dogs, smaller chance for rare dog
- Tweaks to various ruin rewards, to give more variety
- Reduced damage when you help the stork out of a trap
- Fixed a patch of main quest where you could spawn scavengers endlessly by losing fight with bandits
- Also added consequence for losing with bandits
- Added a reward to the goldfish/child event as it was missing
- Added elf recruitment event to the Woodkin medium village
- Smaller tweaks to various events

- Changes to True Damage (Essence level now deals 150% damage to shielded characters, Ancient level was reverted to the original behaviour and deals 100% damage to HP and 100% damage to shield)
- Balancing changes to Dwarven Statues
- Balancing changes to Line Charge skill
- Balancing changes to 'young' subraces - lowered chance to have more powerful skills on start
- Blocked Jewellery slot on children
- Balancing changes to quest groups and their skills
- Balancing changes to concepts, reducing overall difficulty of concept fights on higher levels

Thea 2: The Shattering - A'vee
Added:
- Added View Groups screen, available from Event screen - this will allow you to check who exactly takes part in an event
- Card Game - the game now estimates the most suitable characters for a particular challenge type for the player's hand. This should reduce the frequency of situations where having 5 adults and 5 kids in a group (or in nearby groups) would give you 5 kids and 2 adults in the challenge
- Added tooltips on passive subskills on the card game
- Added on-the-fly weight calculation when equipping items
- Coop - added OS taskbar flashing when Thea 2 is out of focus but the other player is waiting (eg. event invitation, event started, all other players end their turn, trading requested)
- Added Remove Curse ritual to remove 1 level of random curse form all characters in the group
- Added Replace Idol ritual, allowing you to upgrade the village Idol and revive Guardian Demon
- Added several hundred of new names for Humans, Dwarves, Elves, Goblins and Orcs to database
- Increased the limit of Advancement Points to 100
- Crafting a new building recycles the previous building of the same type, replacing it
- Added a new difficulty setting allowing to turn on/off the gathering of more than 1 pack per turn
- Improved event randomizer (hopefully) allowing for less event repetition if other are possible
- Changed subskill trigger icons to better show where the subskill will place the character on the battlefield
- Added some new glyphs to the font atlas
- Diacritics can now be used when renaming a character or group
- Added game version lock, which stops players from loading a game from version which is incompatible with current due to changes in code

Fixed:
- Hopefully fixed starting on water after loading
- Fixed save/load screen slots not showing saves' game version correctly
- Fixed current HP not updating correctly when a new item was equipped
- Fixed opening Equipment screen - now the first character is shown on paperdoll instead of a random one
- Card Game - fixed issues when estimating some subskills value based on their parent skill instead of their actual value, this should improve card value estimation for AI when resolving manually
- Removed the ability to trade buildings other than ships in co-op
- Destruction of Idol now also destroys the house demon
- Fixed House demon having abnormal hp regeneration
- Fixed not being able to get back characters or items taken by events if a save/quit/load was performed
- Fixed cancel event invitation button not working in co-op
- Fixed event invitation not showing corectly the number of characters a listed player will add to the event
- Fixed the ability to start an event before the other player receives your invitation
- Shield description should no longer say "weapon"

Event changes:
- Changes to bandit events so they do not steal ships anymore
- Fixed an event where a hag took items made from certain resources instead of just resources
- Fixed a 'dwarven treasure' event where you did not receive your reward
- Added option to woodland village, spirit talkers village, alpha clans village and forest demons, where you can train your pets (change lower lvl one for a higher lvl)
- Fixed goldfish event where following the ghost failed to spawn a location
- Tweaked village events chances to try and control the frequency more

Balance:
- Balancing changes to death chances - now a character having 0 Health has 30% chance to die, having -100% Health (eg. -20/20) has 70% chance to die
- Increased damage to Health from missing Faith (from 10% at 0 Spiritual HP to 25% at 0 Spiritual HP)
- Faith regenerates 1 pt per turn on top of other possible regenerations (Spiritual Healing ritual is still the best way to fill up on the missing health as it regenerates 50% of Max HP)
- Adjusted group carry bonus from characters to 600/400/200 (up from 350/200/50) depending on difficulty
- Increased characters' personal carry limit to 25 carry for each 1 Str
- Balancing changes to all armour weights
- Balancing changes to Stun skills
- Monia now has unlocked tool slot
- Lava Troll received Primal Desire skill
- Balancing changes to Trolls and groups including Trolls
- Illness does no longer lower personal carry, it lowers gathering and crafting instead
- Bows - targetting is no longer blocked by opposite melee character, AoE modifier adds vertical splash
- Wands - targetting is blocked by opposite melee character, uses Destiny stat in all challenges, AoE modifier adds vertical splash
- Thrown Spears - AoE modifier adds vertical splash
- Axes (1H & 2H) - received +20% damage in all variants
- Spears - received First Strike skill, which deals damage when the character is placed on the battlefield
- Scrolls (2H) - changed crafting resource amounts, further balance pending
- Swords (1H & 2H) - now provide shielding bonus as % instead of a flat value. The bonus is also sensibly larger than previously
- Shields - allow to target up to 2 targets instead of just 1
- Additive damage in weapons with base power below 1 now produces items with final damage value below 6 (base for additive damages)
- True Damage (Essence) now deals 1.5x damage if the target has armour (instead of ignoring armour)
- True Damage (Ancient) now ignores armour (instead of damaging both hp and armour)

Please note, that the changes introduced would most likely require starting a new game. If you have a game in progress, we suggest you either postpone the update or roll back to the previous version, which can be found on beta branch (see FAQ: https://steamcommunity.com/app/606230/discussions/0/1744479063993671688/)

- Fixed difficulty settings not updating if they are changed without game restart
- Fixed a situation where subsequent quests were referencing the original quest for "visited only once" and other internal functionality causing a number of smaller issues
- Fixed crashes caused by generating too small maps
- Fixed goblin growing up where gatherers led to craftsman and vice versa
- Fixed crashes caused by system clock modification while the game is running or keeping the game running for many days
- Fixed the possibility to open group screens while waiting for enemy to finish their turn
- Fixed a crash caused by destroying some groups from adventure nodes
- Fixed player status in co-op being shown below resource icons
- Character status changes displayed during an event should now take less space
- Fixed fight order queue not updating when a skill affected a unit's delay
- Sviatelko and Lightbringers can now use Dive Attack skill
- Balancing changes to Light-sick Zmey and its group
- Zmey has received some new skills

- Added difficulty settings for single player and co-op games
- Added 188 icons for equipment (tier 4 and 5)
- Fixed some crashes during card game
- Fixed an issue when trying to join coop challenges
- Fixed game summary exploit, where opening the screen would give god points every time
- Fixed a crash when player tried to craft an item with Bloody Sacrifice skill
- Fixed a crash when loading a coop game when a player used a different profile than when the game was saved
- Fixed Add Item script which could generate 0 items if range was 0-X and then throw an error for producing 0 items
- It is no longer required to assign a specific event when spawning a group using event editor. In that case, the group would get an event from an event bundle assigned in the database and it won't be marked as a quest group
- Fixed paging on Group Info screen (food/fuel grids) and Settlement Info screen (buildings grid)
- Fixed Rituals yielding a multiple amount and switching to endless crafting if the character performing it provided more production in a single turn than was required
- Fixes to Hunter's Mark and Rain of Frogs skills
- Balancing changes to some Demons and Unliving and their Light-sick variants
- Balancing changes to some Human and Dwarf groups
- Added options to faction armies, to ensure there is a way to gain loyalty in each
- Added a loot event for one of the sea event bundles, so the czytlica event has less frequency
- Changed a goblin encounter event, where having an orc forced you to be rude to the goblins, now it is an option
- Fixed Slavyan village where taking on the 'kill scavengers quest' could block you from taking any others
- Fixed quarry event where a dwarf path was available even if you had no dwarf
- Fixed goblin trader again, as they were still charging friends bad rates (sneaky goblins)
- Fixed Spirit Talkers village where the "kill vily" event would block taking any others
- Fixed an odd werewolf event where you would lose silver for no good reason
- Fixed a hohlick event where a path would open for having any item from gold, instead of gold as a resource
- Fixed 'remnants of dark' event, where domain options did not have prerequisites set
- Fixed the 'clan-less orcs' event in Alphaclans, where a missing group could cause a lock

- Added god unlocks using god points
- New island generation algorithm - islands should now be significantly closer to each other making water travel easier
- Fixed card battlefield crash right at the start due to uncollected events from previous card game
- Fixed occasional crash during loading if threads managed to lock before their progress arrays were ready
- Fixed a crash when the player tried renaming an empty or a newly created group on the Inventory screen
- Fixed group name not refreshing when renaming on Equip screen
- Fixed village name not refreshing when changed
- Fixed lead attribute and delay stats sometimes not appearing correctly on Recipe screen
- Fixed food recipes producing the same results if ingredients were the same but in different order (this change will likely break existing saves, sorry about that)
- Fixed female healer portraits being swapped
- Fixed dwarf and orc growing up, so that only adults trigger race specific paths
- Fixed orc growing up into a dwarf
- Fixed the crashing 'hag event' in the village
- Fixed descriptions of Inspire, Uninspire and Blessed Armour skills
- Balancing changes across all Goblins, Dwarves, Orcs, Beasts and Sea Monsters
- Dwarf racial skill gives less hp
