Thea 2: The Shattering - A'vee
We're adding another set of fixes and improvements:

- Fixed a crash happening on Group Info screen
- Fixed Loading a save file when a character has been takeen from player and is in storage while this character has some registrable skills (e.g. growing up)
- Fixed some ruins causing a crash during enemy turn after loading a saved game
- Fixed a crash when a character has been moved out of the group after it gained a level up
- Fixed Hunter's Mark skill causing a crash when its target died before the skill activated
- Added a couple video settings to the Settings screen, more coming soon
- Fixed group being 'lost in space' (group not being on screen at the start of the game.
- Focus to group is regained if no group was selected when turn started
- Added loading progress to the loading screen to ensure that players get feedback when they rebuild item cargo
- Significantly decreased item cargo rebuild time
- Fixed resources not being returned straight after cancelling a task (either manually or as a result of breaking camp) - previously they were returned after ending the turn which was confusing
- Fixed bee event so that it checks for Gatherers, not Gathering
- Fixed text in "orc growing up" event
- Fixed "child growing up" where you could constantly reroll the 'changeling' option
- Adjusted "czort wierzbowy" quest so it will spawn at its proper difficulty level
- Adjusted the timing of more difficult sea encounters
- Tweaked rewards for "rusalka" quest
- "Mammon" quest requirement for hunter/perception route fixed
- Fixed an error in conversation with Fritz, where refusing her quest led to accepting it
- Fixed incorrect text about wisdom instead of mysticism in "Febra" event
- Fixed incorrect output in "Dwarf and rusalkas" quest where you let the girls {spoiler editted out}
- "Slavyan kill unliving" event error fixed
- Fixed goblin stork event that caused error/lock
- Fixed the stork events where they should not be inviting other players to join
- Fixed "avalanche" event dwarf requirement being available with no dwarf (in a higher diff avalanche quest version)
- Fixed "cabbage patch" event being restricted to only show up once
- Fixed input fields on God's Chosen and Save screens so that they can include space
- Little hp bars made consistent between Inventory and Trade screens
- Removed unused IP/Port options from Host and Join screens
- Swapped icons for Wisdom and Intelligence
- Fixed the school building, it should now properly give RP each turn
- Added click and hover sfx to Pause Menu buttons
- Moved Autosave to turns 2..6..10 etc, to ensure that you get the Cosmic Seed on turn 1
- Category filters on Trade screen should work correctly now
- Fixed Inventory filtering/sorting options
- Typing digits while reporting a bug on the events screen should no longer advance the story in the background
- Change to Blessed Armour skill - it can now be used once per round but is an instant.
- Vihur can now equip a tool, a pet and 1h weapon
- Fixed missing character art in Summon Demon skill
- Spelling fixes across the game

Thanks all for sticking with us so far :) We're officially starting Early Access!

Also, we have uploaded another patch, notes below:

- Added Autosave every 4 turns at the start of the turn (1..5..9..)
- Fix for new group creation missing forbidden (food/fuel) list error
- Fixed an error when a character assigned to a task was moved to a new group
- Fixed softlock caused by visit kennels output in Heresy quest
- Fixed child growing up event so that non-human children do not turn human
- Fixed Avalanche event so that the Dwarf path isn't available to a non-dwarf
- Fixes for "Gathering Range", "Quick, Cover!", "Hunter's Mark" skills
- Possibly a fix for a crash when a summon was the last living character in a challenge
- Various fixes to the main questline
- Improvements to the Summary screen
- Added artwork for 3 creatures
- Goblin tavern added to goblin towns
- Food trader added to Slavyan villages
- Theodore food quest tweaked to require more food, so he doesn't get happy too soon
- Balancing changes to all skills that give bonuses to crafting or gathering
- Trait Granny's Pantry now always gives 9 food items
- Each Beast should now drop meat, quantities will vary between different Beasts (although the event window does not display these drops, they should appear in the group's inventory)
- Increased food gathering rates.

Today we become as gods again in Thea 2: The Shattering, guiding our wee tribe of believers through a fantasy post-apocalypse rooted in Slavic mythology. It’s the sequel to 2015’s Thea: The Awakening, a game described by Rob Zacny as “a survival 4X RPG roguelike with crafting and card combat” in our lukewarm Thea: The Awakening review. That’s a lot going on and it didn’t all work the first time, but Thea was still different and interesting enough that a sequel coming along to tidy it up sounds grand. If you’d rather not do early access, hey, it should be finished in six months or so.

Thea 2: The Shattering - A'vee
Hi all :D
Today's update brings the following changes:

- FIX for tasks not being destroyed when a camp is broken down
- FIX for destroyed task not returning resources
- FIX for skills registration after load (this should fix the problem with children not growing up after loading a saved game)
- FIX for ruins scavenger encounter where give food option caused a lock
- FIX for dwarf smith quest
- FIX for cabbage patch, where only one of the two parents got a bless
- FIX for heretic quest
- FIX for spitting spider's skill pack
- FIX for skills selection that children can chose when levelling up
- FIX for Tavern quest where you could gamble away your cosmic seed
- FIX for player group names - these should now show "Group X" instead of a number
- FIX for incorrect tooltip positioning on screens other than 16:9
- FIX for missing icons on Herbalist's Hut building made of bone and gems and the building's skills
- FIX for a crash when hovering over a rituals task on available workers panel
- FIX for incorrect worker stat value being shown on Rituals screen
- FIX for Ratwitch / Old Hag quest
- FIX for skills already owned by character not levelling on level up
- Added another event to basic ruins
- Increased damage on damage retaliation skill
- Added pet boar to starting scavenger and scoundrel
- Added Trash Attack skill to scavengers and scoundrels
- Balancing changes to pets
- Trait "Add Characters - Children" - characters has been slightly tweaked
- Guardian Demon can now equip items in its left hand and can pick a new skill when levelling up
- Tweaked the positioning of quest markers
- Adjusted food quantity and changed text in Theodore quest to make it more clear he is now after just food, any food
- Added a bless to child growing up, so you can now see which one is going to become adult
- Co-op - game version, database version and modules are now being compared between client and server, showing if there is a possible mismatch. You can still start the game if the versions don't match, but expect errors.
- Added info about moving the camera and equipment to the tutorial popup
Thea 2: The Shattering - Yuuki
- resolved a problem with characters and resources when loading a saved game
- fixed crashes related to missing model references
- fixed a crash when some "OnDamage" triggers were handled during card game
- fixes to target tags in two skills
- fixed a crash when opening Group Info screen on groups created in Inventory
- fixed a crash related to removing curses (ie. in witch house)
- fixed a crash on unlocking jewellery when toggling to other recipes
- fixed overflowing progress bar on Rituals screen
- slightly increased Wood spawn chance
- additional skills for buildings (Warehouse from Gray Essence gained Gathering bonus, from Earth Essence - gained added movement skill. Forge from Fire Essence increases Physical Shielding, Armoury from Gray Essence increases Physical and Mental Shielding, Idol increases gathering and crafting by 3 regardless of level)
- child event balanced (cabbage patch chances improved to be near the stork, so that same gender start isn't disadvantaged)
- pedophile stork removed ;)
- crafting while not camping or in village is now forbidden
- fix to starting event so that cooking or food gathering should trigger it now
- other fixes to events
- fixed Protect Others skill giving 0 shielding instead of the value indicated on skill's description
- decreased trade value of food items
- temporary fix: added info that Space centers the camera on the currently selected group until we add the code to ensure it focuses automatically on load
- reduced weight of tools
- reduced number of ghosts in roaming groups
- reduced child growing up time by 5 turns
- added 1 child to starting party
- added a couple missing icons and descriptions
- added some tooltips to event editor modules and events screen
- fixed a couple typos and missing icon in small tutorial popups and item descriptions
- fixed several typos on event texts
- fixed tooltips on RP and XP icons during events
- FIX unequipping items after loading game were leaving behind their skills. It was not a game breaking, but incorrect.

Quick Early Access Guide:
  • If you are playing online, please make sure all players have the latest version
  • Just in case you are wondering, this will be a development build, it will not mean much to you, but will help us track bugs!
  • Autosave is not working yet (regular saves should work).
  • If you play with the event editor, you may crash the game 😉
  • Please do not stream the game until Friday 30th November.
  • If you played September backer's demo and still have that profile - delete it and creatue a new one
