I am excited to announce that Flashing Lights' Guns Update is now live on the Public Patch Test Branch! This bring shotguns and handguns to Flashing Lights, as well as a brand new armed robbery callout for the police department. Also introduced is basic interiors for gas stations and diner cafes.
To access the new Public Patch Test Branch, and play the new update, please do the following:
- Load up Steam and head to your library - Right click on Flashing Lights and then select "Properties" - Head to the Beta tab and in the drop down select "public_patch_test" (no password needed) - This will then download the new update for you

This update adds brand new vehicles for all departments. You're now able to select your vehicle by approaching and interacting with the spinning vehicle icon once you load into the world with your department of choice.

I am delighted to announce that Flashing Lights' January update is now available! As previously announced, today's update focuses on new vehicle options, introducing two new police cars, a new EMS car and a new fire department car, all drive-able.
But it's not just about the new vehicles - the existing fire engine and ambulance both have been enhanced with better interiors. This will be particularly exciting news for those of you who like to drive (or catch a ride) in 1st person.
On top of this, there are also a couple of new hats for your character to wear, as well as multiple quality of life improvements from the ability to customise multiplayer session names.
As previously revealed, the February update will bring SUVs for all departments, as well as a new fire truck and EMS vehicle! For the March content update, Nils is hard at work on implementing weapons as well as new callouts for the police!

First of all, we have a little surprise: the 19 Dec Speed Update sees the return of hats, for all departments, with multiple options to choose from! This includes a very special festive hat for your police officers, firefighters and medics to wear over the holidays!
This special Christmas hat will be disabled in the January update, so make the most of it while you can!
As previously announced, this December update also introduces speeding zones, speeding tickets and speed road signs around the open world.
Today we're announcing on-foot traffic stops, also arriving on 19 Dec. You'll need to access the vest from the back of the police car in order to perform on-foot traffic stops.

I'm excited to announce that the November update for Flashing Lights is now live!
Multiplayer NPC traffic makes its debut, as one of the single most requested features since Early Access launch.
Also added is the ability to perform traffic stops in multiplayer, as well as the defibrillator for the EMS department, a new piece of equipment accessible in both single player and multiplayer. Making use of the all new defibrillator and heart scanner, as well as the ability to perform CPR, injured NPCs now have multiple injured states, requiring various different responses.
There is another massive content update to come in December, which we're calling the Speed Update, so watch out for that over the coming month!
Of course, there's much more to come for Flashing Lights is 2019, so stay tuned for news on further content updates!
