Hello Humans!

We have made a series of videos on how to make fun levels with the level editor, so we thought it would be the perfect time for a new Level Editor Competition!


This competition is to encourage everyone to make levels so the new "Rest in Pieces" Emote reward will go to everyone who submits a level!

If you have an idea for a level, try to make it! We are not looking for perfection, just levels that try to be fun.

We will pick our favorite level from each of Endless Mode, Adventure Mode, Last Bot Standing and Challenge Mode. This means that you can make whatever you want, we will be looking for fun ideas and even if they aren't perfect you still have a chance to be featured!


To our veteran Level creators this might not seem like a very long time, but for this competition, try to work on small, focused ideas that you can finish in a week!

Do you want feedback on your level? Do you want to know if something specific is fun? Make sure you mention that in the workshop description. The Doborog team and the community will write helpful notes in the comments!

Everyone who enters a level into the competition will get the special "Rest in Pieces" Emote!

The creators of the levels we feature will get the "Good Luck, Have fun" Emote!

Any community members that write a helpful comment will get access to the "Everyone is a Winner when you have Fun" Emote.
Please remember that not everyone will ask for feedback. If they do, they will put it in the description of their level. When you are writing a comment, describe what you think in more specific words than "good" or "bad". This will really help everyone get better at making levels that you enjoy!

As usual, it is OK if you want to work on your level with other people, or multiple levels as long as everyone's name is mentioned in the description.

Please only submit levels that have been created after the start of this competition.

Hello Humans,

We have updated our multiplayer servers! While we hope that this will make them more stable, we have had to make a lot of changes to make them work on the new service, so we need your help to make sure they work properly!

But first, the best news... MORE SERVER REGIONS!

We have added US West, EU East and Asia East servers! These locations give players in those areas servers that are closer to them. Unfortunately we had to remove the Singapore server region but the Asia East server region will cover those people that used it and hopefully mean the matches have more people in them!

The full list of available regions is now:

• US West

We have tested these new servers as much as we can but multiplayer issues can be really specific to your local internet connection. We would love to know if the online performance of the game is better or worse for you.

If you encounter any of the below, please submit a bug report:

• Does matchmaking not work for you?
  
• Does your game get laggy when your ping is still low?
  
• Does your co-op match crash after a long time?

You can send us a bug report via email bugs@doborog.com or on our Discord in the #cddz-bug-reports chat. As always with bug reports, if you can send us a video of your problem, that makes it a lot easier for us to understand how to fix it!

We plan on continuing to improve the servers and matchmaking over time, so any feedback is super helpful. Thanks to all who have helped us make the game better with your bug reports and feedback so far!

Hello Humans,

We have seen lots of new people creating awesome Levels on the Steam Workshop and asking how to do things. This made us think that it would be great if there was an easy way to learn. Josh has been making short Tutorial videos on commonly asked questions so that you can start making fun levels faster.

We discovered a crash on startup happening for all players playing in Brazilian Portuguese on Windows. Then we fixed it, and it should no longer crash!

The crash is also happening on Xbox, which will be hotfixed separately in the next few days.

Hello Humans!

We hope everyone has a fun holiday so we made a new Co-Op Challenge for you and your friends to play!

Grab a friend and play through 10 new levels full of our 4 new Zombie enemies!
Be careful of their claws because unlike other enemies, if you chop their legs off, they still keep coming!
The Update is coming to Steam, Switch, Playstation and Xbox all at the same time so you can all play together with Crossplay!



When you complete it, you unlock the Zombie 1 skin to use in multiplayer.

You can play it now! It's also available for Switch, Playstation and Xbox consoles, and you can play together over crossplay! It's a Co-Op multiplayer only challenge so if you want to find someone to play it with, visit the #cddz-find-a-match channel in our Discord. https://discord.gg/doborog

On top of that, the whole of the arena is nicely decorated for christmas and the audience and commentators are wrapped up warm!

You have no weapons in this level so if you want to save David then you've got to get good at sneaking. There's even a Stealth based boss fight at the end!

The cutscenes in this are great, quickly introducing us to four funny characters trying to survive a Zombie apocalypse!

This Zombie Apocalypse looks great with all the nicely decorated buildings and areas. We really liked the way each the beginning of each level used the glowing text to describe it.

This is a huge level (so be careful if your computer isn't that good) but it has a lot of very cool fights. My favourites are the ones with the anti-zombie lasers that you can trick them to run into!

Seems like you're all Halo fans! This is a really fun and short level where you have to reach your space ship, killing or avoiding Zombies to free your friends!

Hello humans!

We just deployed a small update (1.1.0.56) fixing a few bugs:

• The Emperor and zombies no longer die instantly when you separate the torso from hips!
  
• Fixed issue where legs would stay attached when you damaged the connection between torso and hips from above.
  
• Fixed the workshop browser crashing when updated quickly on a slower connection
  
• Imperial Armor Bots can now appear in Workshop Levels!
  
• Fire traps shooting fire no longer alert enemies in stealth game mode.
  
• Emperor Shockwave and grenades no longer crash the game if they happen next to enemies hidden by sections
  
• Added a few missing translations in Korean and Traditional Chinese

No major changes other than that.

There is a lot to celebrate this November! We have added the Adventure Mode level type to our Level Editor! You can also download and play new levels right from our new Level Browser to see what they look like.

• Make an Adventure mode level. Endless mode and Challenges won't be entered for the competition.
  
• Make your level fit the theme of Zombie Adventure.
  
• Only Enter one (1) level per person.
  
• You are allowed to work with other people to make a level.
  
• You can submit levels you've made before the start of the competition. They must meet the rest of the rules.
  
• You can edit the game as much as you want until the deadline. We will judge the level on the deadline.
  
• We reserve the right to disqualify any entries that we think are inappropriate.
  
• Feel free to share your levels with friends and other community members to play! As long as posting doesn't spam or break the Discord guidelines!

- To win this award, build something that looks awesome! A level that's more than cubes and enemies.
- Win this by creating the most fun combat experience!
- Spook us! Zombies can be scary so if you want to make a scary level!
- We have a new Stealth mechanics where the robots will listen and look for the player. Make a level with stealth and the new patrol routes to have a chance to win this level!


Our artist Zach Soares is the genius behind our new Zombies and he can teach you how to make 3D models in the same style as Clone Drone!
