Hopefully you all had an awesome Halloween! Due to a recent issue with Flying Firework (permanent) disappearing from the inventory, we will make it available again for everyone!

The patch is scheduled to go live tonight at 12:00 a.m. (Pacific Time) on November 9th. You will be able to get permanent Flying Firework again from defeating bosses (Ancient Wyvern King/Aurora Butterfly/Beach Bully) until November 20th at 12:00 a.m. (Pacific Time).

Happy Halloween!! The Halloween patch is scheduled to go live on October 23rd at 12 am (PDT). Let’s take a look at what we prepared for you this year!

A spooky makeover for the main menu:


During the event, Pumpkin Soul Reaper can be found in:

• Pixark: Novice Grassland,Grassland
  
• Skyward: Dawn Island, Woodland, and Void

Defeating it will drop:

• Pumpkin Seed
  
• Magic Broom (7 days)
  
• Flying Firework (7 days)
  
• Clown Costume

Flying Firework (7 days)
Can be obtained at a chance from defeating Pumpkin Soul Reapers. Expires in 7 days.


Flying Firework (permanent)
Can be obtained at a small chance from defeating: Ancient Wyvern King, Aurora Butterfly King and Beach Bully.


Halloween Costume: Scarecrow Costume
Pumpkin Seeds from Pumpkin Soul Reapers can be planted in order to harvest pumpkins. Explorers can then use them as crafting material for the costume at Tailor’s Workbench.


Halloween Trees, Halloween Gravestones, Pumpkin Candle and Pumpkin Wall Decors are back and can be obtained from Clown Supply Drops!


Halloween Costume- Clown Costume
Can be obtained from Tailor’s Workbench using Pumpkins, or from Pumpkin Soul Reapers at a low rate.



Halloween Candy Grenade
Throw various Halloween Candy Grenade at other Explorers to transform them into characters wearing various Halloween Masks! The effect lasts for ten minutes. They can be obtained from the Clown Supply Drop.

• Clown Supply Drops - Normal supply drops will turn into Clown Supply Drops. Explorers can obtain Halloween Decors and Halloween Candy Grenades at a chance from these drops.
  
• Pumpkin Hat: Some creatures will be wearing Pumpkin Hats. There is a chance of them dropping the Hats that you can equip them on your tamed creatures.
  
• Double Harvest rates on Ores and Exp rates
  
• Higher Exp from defeating Pumpkin Soul Reapers

Dear Explorers,

We first and foremost would like to express our deepest apologizes for the server shutdown, and the trouble it caused to our fellow explorers. We would then like to thank you for not only all the feedback you provided but also the time and effort that you have put into the game that we love.

We will postpone our server closure, and focus on optimizing item/dino transfer experience for all explorers. Our goal is to save as much player data as possible so that players can have a smooth gameplay experience.

Additionally, we will push out a new tool in the near future where explorers could save an area of structures and transfer to another server altogether. Explorers could use this tool and create different strategies on PVE and PVP servers.

We will also provide brand new servers for players to build/transfer on after the server closure.

We value every input and appreciate your feedback. Thank you for your understanding and continuing support!

Dear Explorer,

In the interest of server optimization and increasing player density to encourage more interaction, we will be closing down some of our lower population servers.

Save files of these servers will be available at a later date for anyone who wishes to download them to use for their own private servers.

As an online multiplayer, we hope that with the higher player density, Explorers will be able to have more fun interactions and gameplay with others, especially during special events. :)

Greetings, Explorers!

The next PixARK update is scheduled to go live at 12:00 am PDT on September 18th. Servers will be offline for a few hours during the update.

• Adding difficulty level in single-player mode. Players can adjust the difficulty from 0 (wild creatures spawning at maximum lv60) to 1 (wild creatures spawning at maximum lv120). Higher difficulty correlates to a higher probability of dropping higher quality equipment.
  
• Players now can view the number of creatures in the tribe menu (maximum 60), the number of creatures with platform saddles on (max 25), and the number of airship/raft (max 20 total)
  
• Airships and rafts now no longer count towards tame limits.

• Fixed a bug where creatures cannot equip normal saddles when the number of equipped platform saddles reaches the limit.

Introducing a cool steel airship and more new creatures! This patch will go live tonight at 12 am (PT), August 14th.

New Creatures:
1. Iguanodon

A medium-sized herbivore with a pair of pointy thumbs that excels at gathering berries and seeds.It possesses well-developed hind limbs that allow it to stand up and walk on two feet, as well as run quickly on four! Normally wild Iguanodons are gentle and do not actively attack other creatures, but they will not hesitate to fight back when they are assaulted.

Tamed Iguanodons have been found to not only aid in the collection of berries and seeds, but also in special methods to help extract seeds from berries. When ridden, an Iguanodon can also be switched to travel mode, allowing it to use its four feet to run quickly without draining stamina.


Left-click: normal attack, harvest bushes, and grass.
Right-click: switching between travel and normal mode
“C” button: Eats a berry or crop will greatly enhance its attack, and there is a chance of extracting a random berry, crop, or magic crop seed.

Can be found in the Swamp (PixARK) and Glittering Ridge (Skyward)


2. Cobalt Winged Serpent

Can be found at Twilight Woods

3. Cobalt Void Manta

Can be found at the Void

4. Cobalt Ghost Dragon

Can be found at the Blackrock Mountain



New Structures:
Steel Airship
Steel Airship can be learned under Industrial Engrams and crafted at a Fabricator at lv70. Steel Airships will require gasoline as fuel. It’s a sturdy structure with high HP and Weight limit, allowing players to build other structures on top. Steel Airships can be controlled by WASD keys as well as the right-click button for direction, and the C & X keysfor elevation.


New Item
1. Iguanodon Saddle,can be learned at lv35.
Optimization:
1. Fertilizers can now have 100 per stack.

BUG Fixes
1. Fixed a bug where Flash Grass Block cannot be crafted.
2. Fixed a bug where the creature costumes can add armor.
3. Fixed a bug where the Chomper/Green Vine/Nepenthes attack not consume fertilizer.

Hi Explorers. We will have our patch going live tonight at 12 am PDT along with the additional changes.

1. Models can now pose in 6 different positions. Just press and hold the E button while targeting an model.

2. Cannons can no longer be placed on train platforms. The ones already on platforms can no longer fire.

Wardrobes
You can now create different styles of outfits and save them in the wardrobe. If you own all selected pieces, you can equip them directly!

Unlocked at lv50 under Metallurgy.
Can be crafted at a workbench
Can save up to 150 equipment (clothes only)
8 customizable presets that could allow you to switch into different sets quickly.


Dressing Table
You can now re-customize your appearance using the Dressing Table! (face/body/color,etc; gender not included)

-Requires Makeup boxes that have chances of dropping from:
Defeating Death Lord or Behemoth on Pixark map
Defeating Ancient Wyvern King, Aurora Butterfly King, or Beach Bully on Skyward map


Model (Male/Female)
You can switch between the male/female model by pressing the Q button upon placing.
You can dress up with equipment/costumes (head/body/leg/foot/gloves) in its inventory.
If you put multiple costumes within the same category (i.e. all head costumes) into the inventory, only the first one will show on the model.


Bug Fixes
Fixed an issue where Megalania could disappear while climbing on walls.
Fixed an issue where characters/creatures could get stuck upon teleporting into Beach Bully Arena.


Optimization Adjustments:
Made Megalania saddle more affordable to craft.
LoweredMegalania hatching/raising time.
