Hello Explorers, thank you for celebrating the Lunar New Year with us! Tonight (12 am PT 2/21/2020) we’ll be bringing down the servers for a few hours to make the following changes.

Ending Chinese New Year Event:

The login screen will be returning to normal.

Creature Related Updates:

• Death Lord Alter in PixARK map will no longer spawn Flame Demon.
  
• Burial Ground Alter in Skyward map will no longer spawn Flame Demon.
  
• Nian Beast will no longer spawn in Novice Grassland, Grassland, Dawn Island and Woodland.
  
• Creatures will no longer be wearing the Chinese God of Wealth Hat.

Event-related Updates:

• Supply Beacon will change its shape back to normal, and so will the contents.
  
• Removing Lunar New Year Reunion Party event.
  
• Disabling Double harvest rate.

• Pink Slime - can be found in beginner areas. They can also be picked up and carried on top of your head!

• Valentine’s Day Costume - each part of the set has a 10% chance to drop from Pink Slime

Lunar New Year Festivities enter the PixARK world! Our Lunar New Year patch is scheduled to go live at 12:00 am PDT on January 15th. Official Servers will be offline for a few hours.

• Cobaltstar Hunter (mutated) - added Cobaltstar Hunter mutant to the Radiation Mutation Platform
  
• Cobalt Energy Master (mutated) - added Cobalt Energy Master mutant to the Radiation Mutation Platform
  
• Cobaltstar Mouse - LMB to launch melee attack, and RMB to launch the laser. mountable on land, in the air and under the water. Cobaltstar Mouse requires a Cobaltstar Mouse Control Module to ride.

• Spawn rate is 50% at the Death Lord Altar in PixARK map, and 50% at the Burial Ground Altar in Skyward map.
  
• Flame Demon drop: 5% drop rate to obtain Gargoyle Skin.

Year of the Rat Costume- Year of the Rat Shirt, Year of the Rat Hat, Year of the Rat Pants, Year of the Rat Boots, Year of the Rat Gloves.

• Dropped by Nian Beast spawns in Noviceland, Grassland, Dawn Island and Woodland.

• Supply Beacon will change its shape to a Chinese Lucky Bag, containing our Lunar New Year gift for explorers.
  
• Rewards: Spring Festival dishes (restores Food and HP), and Spring Festival Fireworks.

• Place Lunar New Year dishes (drop from the Lunar New Year Lucky Bag) to enjoy the Lunar New Year buff and our best wishes.

• Some creatures will be wearing Chinese God of Wealth Hat, and players could be rewarded with Chinese God of Wealth Hat (Dino) from killing these creatures.
  
• Rewards: Chinese God of Wealth Hat (Dino)

• Nian Beast will spawn in Novice Grassland, Grassland, Dawn Island and Woodland.They can only be killed by the Firecrackers players crafted.
  
• Nian Beast drop: Lunar New Year dishes; Spring Festival decors, and blueprints for Spring Festival decors; Year of the Rat costume.

Double Harvest rate will be active for the duration of the Lunar New Year event! :)

It's finally here! The PixARK Dev Kit is expected to have an update around midnight on January 14th.

The update will include full release content, Skyward DLC content, and subsequent patches all the way up to client version 1.75.

Modders will be able to update the Dev Kit to the latest version via Epic Launcher.

We hope you guys had a wonderful 2019 and are ready to embrace 2020! It is time for us to say goodbye to our Christmas and New Year content. Our next patch is scheduled to go live at 12:00 am PDT on January 3rd. Official Servers will be offline for a few hours.

Ending Christmas & NYE Content

• Snowman will no longer spawn in Noviceland, Grassland, Dawn Island and Woodland.
  
• Red Hat will no longer drop from creatures.
  
• Christmas Goblin Trade Center will no longer drop from Goblins.
  
• Ending the Blessing Christmas Tree event.
  
• Ending the Snowman Fight event.
  
• Christmas Santa Supply will be reverted back to the usual Supply Beam.
  
• Ending the Christmas Blizzard event. Snowy weather will occur at its usual rate, and
• Christmas Token and Christmas Candy can no longer be harvested.
  
• Removing the New Year Countdown Timer at the center of the map.
  
• Disabling double harvest rate.
  
• Christmas items, including Christmas Tree, Christmas Reindeer Skin, Christmas Treant Skin, Reindeer Christmas Sled Saddle, Christmas Hat, Rocking Reindeer, Christmas Curtain, Christmas Painting, Christmas Candy, Christmas Doll, Christmas Snowman, Christmas clothing skins, Christmas Token are temporarily removed from drop list or exchange list. They will be obtainable from future in-game events or community events.

We hope you all had a wonderful year, and look forward to an even greater 2020! The next PixARK update is scheduled to go live at 12:00 am PDT on December 27th. Official Servers will be offline for a few hours.

Update: the patch is delayed to go live at 9:00 am PDT on December 27th.

In celebration of the upcoming new year, we are adding a noticeable New Year Countdown Timer in the sky at the center of the map. From any biome in both the PixARK map or the Skyward map, when you look up, you can see the timer counting and when it reaches 2020/01/01 00: 00: 00 (server/local time), all explorers will be treated to a fireworks show NEARBY the timer! (Note: fireworks visuals won't be rendered if the players are too far away from the giant clock.)

• Countdown Clock: needs to be powered; players can input the time they want to count down from, and when it counts down to zero, the Trigger will send an activation signal to switch all the electricity-powered devices to “on”. The Countdown Clock engram can be unlocked at level 55, and craftable in the Fabricator.
  
• Fireworks Launcher: needs to be powered; players can place Fireworks Bullets inside its inventory, and turn on the switch to automatically shoot the fireworks in the sky; when aiming at the Fireworks Launcher, you can also hold E to select how high you want the fireworks to be fired. The Fireworks Launcher engram can be unlocked at level 55, and craftable in the Fabricator.

Fireworks can be obtained at a higher drop rate from the Supply Beam which will also spawn at a higher rate.

• Fixed an issue where the Cobaltenergy Golem did not show the correct required time for a mutation in the Radiation Mutation Platform.
