PixARK - SG_Calculated

Hello Explorers!

Some will choose to use swords and spears to face down their enemies, while others walk the path of magic. However, there are also those who would rather take a more modern approach to taking on their foes: guns! Today let’s take a look at what you can do to improve your weapons using the Firearm Worktable.

The Firearm Worktable can be learned at level 33, and opens up a host of upgrades for you, the Explorer. Simply drag the weapon you want to upgrade from your inventory straight into the Firearm Worktable.

You can modify your guns to improve every aspect of their abilities. The Firearm Worktable can also be used to enchant your weapons with the power of Fire, Ice, or Poison for an even greater damage or utility boost.

You can upgrade any of your Firearms with the Firearm Worktable. Try it out for yourself!

Greetings Explorers,

We'd like to officially announce our PixARK Community Localization Program. This project is so we can bring PixARK to as many people and languages as we possibly can. There are many players that have expressed their interest in localizing PixARK to their native language, and we want to facilitate that as much as we can. By using the Crowdin we've created, community members are able to see which languages PixARK still needs to be translated into, and work on whichever they'd like. We're currently looking for Explorers that are able to assist us in localization PixARK into German, so if you, or any of your friends have this skill, please feel free to reach out to us on Crowdin. We'd like to again thank everyone for their support during PixARK's Early Access and look forward to all of the amazing things to come.

Sincerely,

The PixARK Community Team

Welcome to Wizardry 101 Explorers!

You’ve conquered the Swamps and Deserts of PixARK, and now you are ready to step into the Magic Forest. Here is what you need and what you need to know about learning magic.

Step 1. Be Level 30

The Magic Skill Engrams begin to open up at level 30, allowing you to craft a Magic Workbench, Inscription Book, and Wood Wand.

Step 2. Find a Magic Forest

The materials you need to become a powerful wizard can only be found in the Magical Forest. Be sure to bring at least stone tools, as attempting to gather the necessary materials with anything less may result in less than ideal results.

Step 3. Farm! Craft!

Gather all things magical. Chop down trees, pick up grass, and mine dirt. Everything gathered in the Magic Forest has magic properties you will need in order to craft magical tools and structures. First, you will want to craft a Magic Workbench.

You can also craft a Wood Wand straight from your inventory, which will allow you to gather up Magic Stone resources.

Step 4. Reach level 35

Once you reach level 35, you are ready to become an apprentice wizard. Use your Magic Workbench to craft an Alchemy Stove, which allows you to refine Magic Stones you gather into Magic Stone Essence.

Craft an Apprentice Wand from the Magic Workbench and infuse it with Essence to cast offensive spells.

And that’s it! Class is dismissed; we hope to see you next semester in Wizardry 201: Rings Of Power and What Not To Do. Keep an eye out for more news and articles!

As the Steam Charts slowly attempt to reassemble themselves after last week’s complete collapse under the weight of Far Cry 5, think of this week’s compilation as the moment the thought-destroyed terrifying monster is halfway through its grotesque reforming. Witness as its undulating viscera twists through recongealing flesh, a bleak but ghoulish moan emanating from deep within its darkest soul. (more…)

Hello Explorers, and welcome to Explorer’s Guide to Pixark Creatures #2!

Today were taking a look at some of the desert creatures you’ll encounter in PixARK

Terror Bird

The Terror Bird is a fast, aggressive creature with a ferocious bite. You can try to run, but chances are you won't get far. The Terror Birds wings may not seem mighty, but it allows this bird of prey to leap longer distances than one might think. This makes the Terror Bird a good tame for scouting if you can capture one.

Dung Beetle

Dung beetles are small but deadly. Once they’ve noticed you they will begin to use their circling tactic and then strike. If a Dung Beetle bites you too many times your torpor will increase. If it is raised too high, it will leave you in an unconscious state! Be careful if you fight a Dung Beetle, these nasty bugs will alert nearby beetles causing a swarm before you can react.

Emperor Scorpion

Like the Terror Bird, the Emperor Scorpion is also an aggressive creature. They may not have the speed of a Terror Bird, but they are much harder to kill in combat. Watch out for their deadly pinchers and stinger! If hit to many times, you will be poisoned and your torpor will slowly increase which will leave you in an unconscious state.

The desert climate can be a super scorcher, so be sure to stay hydrated out there! Keep an eye out for more Explorers Guide to PixARK articles.
