Animation Throwdown: The Quest for Cards - Kong Community Staff
We have added a new type of box to the store: Tier Boxes!
Tier boxes are less random than traditional boxes, and contain other useful items like Combo Mastery. Tier boxes are divided into tiers that display both a card pool and item pool. After a purchase, the box will move up a tier, and increase slightly in price but provide better value. For those who want to do a few or many pulls from a box, tier boxes will make it easier to obtain the desired card or item.
A tier box will guarantee certain card pulls
Tiers will gradually increase in price but will also increase in value
Higher tiers in the box will give better items when purchased
Tiers of these boxes can include guaranteed specific cards, random cards from a pool of cards, Mastery Tokens for key combos, Giggitywatts, or Research Speedups; based on the tier
Card pool and item pool are visible before being purchased. Multiple items and/or cards are received per pull.
The format of each Tier Box may vary from box to box.
Normal boxes are not being completely removed from the store at this time.

The Burobu Clash starts on December 24 at 18:00 UTC!
The event will end on December 28, 2018.
The special BGE for this event will provide a 100% boost to Attack, Health, and all Skills to all recipes, rarities, and Power Card versions of these combos:
Holiday Swole Club and Challenge starts on December 28, 2018!
This Swole Club event is shorter than in the past. It will last for 2 weeks, ending on January 11, 2018.
Although the event is shorter, it will be similar to last year’s Holiday Swole Club Event. The difficulty will be adjusted to account for the shorter timeline.
As of last year, any leftover Swole Club currency or energy will automatically expire from your account-- it will not be converted into further rewards.

Secret Fight Club (SFC) Updates
Score cap will be expanded from 2500 to 3500
Starting at 2500, the SFC Battleground Effect (BGE) will give the enemy deck a bonus percentage based on the player’s score (not the opponent’s score).
A trophy as well as the rank and score of top SFC players will be displayed in Arena, Guild Rumbles, and other areas of the game.
This change is expected to go live on November 28, 2018. We will continue to monitor Arena and player feedback for further improvements if needed.
Hero Token Changes
We have updated the way Hero Tokens refresh in Arena. You are now able to “lock in” the Hero Token so that it will not change after a battle is completed. This means that once you find the hero you want tokens for, you can keep grinding for those specific tokens only. You will still get a new opponent after each battle.
The selection is automatic: simply do not refresh your opponent to keep the Hero Token drop the same. The selection should be saved even if you close the game and continue playing later. Of course, you have the option to refresh your opponent and token, if desired. Opponent and Hero Tokens are still linked: if you refresh one it will refresh the other.
Bug Fixes
We have been investigating a recent 51 guild member issue and have implemented a fix. This should hopefully prevent further issues in upcoming events; but we will continue to monitor, investigate, and fix as needed.
We are also aware that our recent update has caused some ranking boards to display incorrectly. It should now be fixed, but you may need to restart your game to see the changes.
