Patch v3.3 is finally here! We have a lot of changes in this update from new equipment additions to Hypers balance changes. You can read all of the specifics below. Some of the updates will include dev notes from the team so you get an idea regarding why the changes were made. So let’s get right into the meaty stuff.
General Game Changes
Changed the spawn platform health restoration percentage
The purpose is to adjust the amount of time that base sieging will take in the later half of the game to make battles more intense.
Health Restore on the spawn platform
Previously: Restore 15% Health per second on the spawn platform.
Change: Restore 15% Health on the spawn platform per second but HP restoration per second decreased by 1% for every 4 minutes of the play time.
Lowest HP regen per second is now 9% (24 minutes into the game)
No change with the MP (Restore 15% per sec)
Ex : After playing for 8 min, HP restored on spawn platform per sec is changed by 2%. The total restored per second on spawning platform would now be 13% max health per second. (15% starting value - 2% = 13%)
Hyper Changes
Allen
Sigils of the Hero -> Sigils of the Hero / Power of the Hero
Added (Power of the Hero): Besides exclusive equipment Allen is not affected by Cooldown Reduction. Going forward, attack will be increased by 100% of the Cooldown Reduction he receives from gear.
Dev note: Allen is not currently affected by "Cooldown Reduction." This characteristic of his has placed many constraints on equipment selection until this coming patch. By giving Allen a new passive effect, we wanted to provide the option to use "Cooldown Reduction" strategically based on the player's choice of equipment build.
Louis
Dempsey Roll
Added: Ignores all interference effects except Grappled during the flurry
Dev note: Currently, Louis has an extremely low Victory rate. Therefore, we're adjusting him so that Louis's skill combo is applied to the target more smoothly.
Yuna
Regular Attack (3-hit)
Previously: Attack factor 1.2
Changed: Attack factor 0.6
Dev note: Yuna's regular attack (3-hit)'s Attack factor had been adjusted so that it fits the hit count.
Equipment Update
General Update Dev note: The stats and prices for the extra gold earning items and accessory equipment have been adjusted and rebalanced so that they are still advantageous during the mid-late stage of the game.
All items that decrease interference effect duration by 15% (Shared / Hyper exclusive)
Exclusive Effect
Previously: Interference effect duration -15% except for Grappled
Changed: Interference effect duration -15% except for Grappled, Controlled, and Listen Closely
Dev note: The function itself didn’t changed, but reworded to clarify effects that were originally missing from the description.

A skin and emotion cube event added in the month of October
Welcome Curse Eye, the newest Support Hyper to join the fight. Curse Eye is a cave dweller that has bit of an extreme personality. His ultimate is his mood swings and it’s accessible right at level 1 (there’s no restrictions on temper tantrums!). This allows him to switch between his psychotic and calm forms which will uniquely change the skills that he has access to at that time. Even in death, Curse Eye supports his team, healing all allies around him over time. Don’t let him catch you on his bad side or you may find yourself petrified by his gaze.
Skill Overview:
Mood Swing (R) This allows him to change between his Calm and Psychotic forms to gain access to offensive or defensive skills. You’ll need to choose wisely based on your situation and what you need.
[Calm Form]
Team Spirit(A) Lets out a cheer and does damage to all the enemies around him as well as restoring mana to his allies.
Gazer Beam (Q) Curse Eye shoots a deadly eye laser that does damage to all enemies and grants all allies hit by it 10% move speed and 10% higher health restoration effects.
[/u]
Slobber Shield(W) Curse Eye slobbers all over allies within range of Curse Eye granting them a protective shield that absorbs a portion of damage for 4 seconds.
Living Breath(E) Curse Eye sprays a stream of healing energy at your allies that recovers health over 4 seconds.
[Psychotic Form]
Screamer (A) Curse Eye let’s out a horrible cry dealing damage to all enemies in range and reducing their mana by 20.
Stone Gaze(Q) Curse Eye fires a magical eye beam that turns any enemies facing him to Stone. Enemies lucky enough to not be facing Curse Eye will be stunned for a short time instead.
Horrific Odor(W) Curse Eye releases a terrible cloud of stink on all enemies around him causing them to run away in fear. Enemies in fear take increased damage and lose control of their character for a short time.
Death Breath(E) Curse Eye sprays a stream of corrosive liquid on enemies doing damage over time.
Using Curse Eye’s skills effectively:
Curse Eye is a supporter for his team through and through. You can choose either one of his forms to support your team how they most need you. If your team is prepared to engage you can switch to his psychotic form and fear or stun the enemies, making for a quick kill. If your team is under siege you can switch to his calm form to grant damage shields and healing over time. Swap forms wisely as there is a cooldown and you don’t want to be caught in the wrong form!
Recommended build:
Duality, Mark of Chaos, Task force Shield, Terminus Zero Hack, Eternal Ice Crystal, Titan Combat Boots
Curse Eye is a supporting type hyper and so you want to focus on his defensive and cooldown reduction items over all else. Terminus Zero Hack will increase the healing and support abilities of his calm form while also giving you cooldown reduction and movement speed. Eternal Ice Crystal will help you in a bind if you happen to get caught out, buying you a few seconds to use your shields and heals. Duality and Mark of Chaos increase the potency of both psychotic form abilities and calm abilities, doing dual duty. Some say that you can build him damage for an interesting twist on this support Hyper, what do you think?
Not sure what to build? As always, you can hop into our Discord to discuss itemization with other players.
You can hop into the battlefield with Curse Eye this week for a mere 15,000GP, which you can earn by leveling up and playing games.
We are currently investigating an issue where players are unable to connect to the Southeast Asia server. The region will be unavailable at this time. Please select a different region when attempting to find a match.
We will update this post when we have more information on the issue.
Halloween is fast approaching, and we’ll be starting the month off by giving you a sneak peek of our new update (version 3.3). We haven’t had our first balance update since the launch of Early Access, but it’s coming. Along with some major changes, we will be hosting a few fantastic events that will get us all into the spoopy festive mood.
HYPER RELEASES
When we first launched Early Access, we had released 28 Hypers to start off. Many of you have asked, "When are you planning to release all of the Hypers?" and have been anxious to see their favorite ones coming back from Closed Beta or Alpha. If you have noticed our release trend so far, we have been releasing a new one every two weeks, and we still have a lot more to go. We want to introduce the Hypers slowly (but not too slow) so players have a chance to get to know each one.
NEW HYPER: CURSE EYE
With this upcoming update, we would like to introduce Curse Eye, the newest Support Hyper to join the fight. Curse Eye is a space alien that has bit of an extreme personality. His ultimate is his mood swings and it’s accessible right at level 1 (there’s no restrictions on temper tantrums!). This allows him to switch between his psychotic and calm forms which will uniquely change the skills that he has access to at that time.
BALANCE CHANGES AND NEW EQUIPS
Along with the new Hyper, there will be some major balance changes to common equipment, unique equipments, and Hyper skills that will help rebalance some features like crowd control effects. For example, in order to help players overcome the difficulty of understanding Louis’s combo execution, his Dempsey Roll will be getting a buff that will allow him to ignore interference effects during Flurry (except Grapple) that will allow him to execute his skill combo more easily. Perhaps this will help someone like Predictable from failing his combo executions. Rebalances will also coming in to prepare for the new Hypers we’re planning to introduce. Some changes will not have any immediate impact until they arrive.
We will also be introducing 10 new equipment items. Along with the new items changes have been made to the items that generate gold, making them more effective in the mid to late stages of the game. They will certainly impact how Hypers itemize their builds or how they strategically plan in the battlefield.
HALLOWEEN EVENTS
Lastly, we can’t have an update in October without celebrating Halloween! We have a some tricks (or treats) in store for everyone throughout the month. Get ready to dress up! Be on the lookout for full event details.
Update: Maintenance has been completed. Thank you for your patience!
