Here are the latest update details for Black Desert Online on September 21, 2022 (Wed).

We've added a new appearance for the Mythical Arduanatt. We designed it around a "pure white" concept, and you need only purchase and feed the Quturan's Fruit to your mythical steed to change its appearance. While we initially thought of a more arduous process to obtain this appearance, we felt that the process of awakening a Mythical Arduanatt was rigorous enough, so we felt it only fair to have a far simpler process when changing its appearance. We hope this new appearance only bolsters the experience of Adventurers who have already awakened a Mythical Arduanatt in their adventures.

We're currently working on Mythical Doom, and while we initially thought of a horse with blue flames, we felt it somewhat unimpactful compared to the already released mythical counterparts, so... we felt that we had a bit more work to do to prepare for Mythical Doom's explosive release. Thank you for your patience.

● Added Quturan's Fruit to now be available for purchase through Francia, librarian of O'dyllita, who requested these through Helen Julia, the Ahib scholar on Krogdalo.
- Feed the Quturan's Fruit to your stabled Mythical Arduanatt and it shall be reborn with a new appearance and all previous skills and stats intact.
- You can purchase the Quturan's Fruit for 100 million Silver each via Franica in O'dyllita.            
* You can change your Mythical Arduanatt's basic appearance to the new appearance by using the Quturan's Fruit.

Krogdalo, King of the Celestial Horses, has granted his blessing upon the world of Black Desert, thus greatly improving the tiers and breeds of horses roaming in the wild.

You will no longer be able to tame Tier 1 to 5 Wild Horses as they've all been improved to Tiers 6 and 7, and these Tier 7 Wild Horses will also boast a special appearance that will make them easy to distinguish from other horses.

We've also added 4 types of Tier 8 horses. While retaining the same stats as pre-existing white and black breeds, since Tier 1 to 5 Wild Horse appearances are no longer available, we've made these types now available as Tier 8 horses so Adventurers may still have access to them.

● Increased the chance of birthing higher tiers of horses from breeding Tier 1 to 8 horses.
* The tiers and growth levels of the parent horses will affect the new horse birthed from breeding. The higher the parent horse levels (up to Lv. 30), the greater the chance of birthing a higher-tiered horse.

For example,
Breeding Lv. 30 Tier 6 stallion and mare now have increased chances to birth a Tier 7 or 8 horse.
Breeding Lv. 30 Tier 7 stallion and mare now have increased chances to birth a Tier 7 or 8 horse.
Breeding Lv. 30 Tier 8 stallion and mare now have an increased chance to birth a Tier 8 horse.

● Changed the minimum and maximum tiers of Wild Horses in the world of Black Desert.

- Tier 7 Wild Horses will be somewhat rare to find, with a slightly higher chance of appearing in Drieghan.

Krogdalo's blessing has also been imparted to horse trainers as well. Now Adventurers will receive up to 75% increased Mount EXP (previously up to 40%) based on their Training Mastery. We've also increased the value of horses as well. Now Tier 1 to 8 horses will fetch slightly higher prices from Imperial Delivery and Horse Market.

● Increased Mount EXP gains from Training Mastery from up to 40% to up to 75%.



● Increased the prices of Tier 1 to 8 horses on the Horse Market and Imperial Delivery (sold).
- Made the following price adjustments according to the horse's level and number of skills learned.

We've added new leap quests for Training. Similar to leap quests for other Life Skills, these require that you reach a certain Life Skill level to accept each quest, and they will grant a large amount of Training EXP upon completion. We've also added "Family leap quests" available once per Family once you've completed these quests, in the spirit of relishing in Krogdalo's blessing. Complete these Family quests to obtain a skill change coupon, a Premium Horse Appearance Change Coupon, and other goodies to help you on your path to becoming the best Trainer.

- Imperial Steed foals approved by the Stonetail Horse Club are born with the "Imperial Stature" skill already learned.
* The Imperial Steed cannot learn any other skill than "Imperial Stature."
- The Imperial Steed cannot be exchanged, nor registered to be sold on the Horse or Breeding Markets.
- The Imperial Steed can be reared up to Lv. 15 for the sole purpose of Imperial Delivery.
- Deliver a well-grown Imperial Steed to the Imperial Court to obtain approx. 120 million Silver along with other rewards
- You can obtain all the following items as rewards.



- The higher the tiers and levels of the parent horses, the greater the chance to breed an Imperial Steed.
* Your parent horses' levels will only increase your chances to birth an Imperial Steed up to Lv. 30. A parent horse at Lv. 31 has the same chance to birth an Imperial Steed as a parent horse at Lv. 30.
- Your Training Level and Mastery do not affect your chances to breed an Imperial Steed.
- You can only obtain an Imperial Steed through horse breeding. You cannot exchange horses to obtain an Imperial Steed.
- You cannot use Mount Brand Spell Stone, Mount Skill Change Coupon, Mount Skill Selection Coupon, Mount Skill Training Coupon, Mount All Skill Training Coupon, Horse Appearance Change Coupon, Premium Horse Appearance Change Coupon, Reset Mount Growth, or Mount Name Change Coupon on an Imperial Steed.






● Adjusted the Central Market prices for the following 44 items obtained from Gathering and Processing.

In order to help our Adventurers who gather in slightly more dangerous environments, we've added defensive stats to gatherer's clothes similar to those of hunter's clothes.

● Added Evasion, Damage Reduction, and DP stats to Loggia, Carta, and Manos Gatherer's Clothes.
- These defensive stats are identical to those of Loggia, Robeau, and Manos Hunter's Clothes.

What is a Rift's Echo?An item that is said to open a rift that calls forth various monsters, including Red Nose, Dastard Bheg, Saunil Siege Captain, and Kavali. If you defeat the monsters that appear, you’ll be able to obtain season enhancement materials.

What is a World Boss?There are currently 9 World Bosses in Black Desert: Kzarka, Karanda, Muraka, Quint, Nouver, Kutum, Mirumok Destroyer Offin, Garmoth, and Vell

World Bosses appear in specific locations, so anyone can join the fight. However, it’s best to get your AP and DP high enough for you to have a chance to earn loot as well as withstand their attacks, especially if the world boss is in their awakened state!

You can partake in the World Boss Raids in any server since the World Bosses share HP across all servers. * Not including Olvia and Arsha.

Here are the latest update details for Black Desert Online on September 7, 2022 (Wed).

With this update, we added the "Traveler's Horse," a time-limited rideable horse we previous introduced as the "Untamed Horse." If you don't have a horse taken out and/or have checked in your horse in the stable, you will be able to borrow the Traveler’s Horse by talking to a Stable Keeper NPC in town. This horse has the Start Accel, Sprint, Drift, and Instant Accel skills, and you won't have to return the horse as it will return by itself to the nearest stable when you dismount. We hope that all of our Adventurers, both veteran and new, will find this newly added mount useful in their travels.

● The Old Moon Guild, who manages all the stables in Black Desert, has added the "Traveler's Horse" to the Stable Keepers in town for the sake of Adventurers' ease of travel.


● You can borrow a Traveler's Horse by talking to the following Stable Keepers:


● Traveler's Horse has the following skills:
- Start Accel, Sprint, Drift, Instant Accel (Skill Training 100%)
● Only one Traveler's Horse can be borrowed and no additional horse can be borrowed while another horse is taken out.
● Please note that Traveler's Horse will return to the nearest Stable after 5 minutes of being dismounted.
● The Traveler's Horse cannot equip horse gear, but it can still Sprint without a saddle.
● Traveler's Horse cannot use Stable Recovery / Remote Collection / Horse Market / Imperial Delivery / Sell function (but the Mount Information window can be checked).
● Traveler's Horse will return to a Stable when clicking on Disconnect, Character Selection, or Change Character.

We've improved on the damage, effects, and combos for Kunai Stab in Succession. Now the Fatal Blow - Flow: Fatal Blow Combo - Kunai Stab combo will be more efficient thanks to the added Stamina recovery effect, making it more viable in PvE. In addition, we added command inputs to Prime: Shackles, making it easier to combo into the skill.

● Prime: Shadow Explosion
- Changed the damage penalties for multiple targets to now only apply in PvP.
- Improved to combo more smoothly into Shadow Clone.

● Kunai Stab
- Changed so Fatal Blow's damage will be applied to the skill damage, along with the following:
* Fatal Blow's attack damage and critical hit rate
* Fatal Blow's maximum number of targets
* Fatal Blow's Skill Add-ons (Skill no longer has Skill Add-ons)
- Improved to combo more smoothly into other skills.

● Prime: Shackles
- Changed the skill's motions, along with the following:
* Unified the skill's attack area to the widest area.
* Changed so the distance at which the skills attacks are applied has been narrowed so that all attacks are applied faster.
- Improved so you can press SHIFT + C in idle stance to activate the skill.
- Improved to combo more smoothly into Shadow Explosion and Shadow Clone.
- Improved to combo more smoothly after Prime: Ankle Cutter, Prime: Fox Claw, Prime: Shadow Explosion, or Prime: Shadow Clone.


● Prime: Shadow Brand
- Added the Assassin's Mark effect to the following skills:
* Prime: Fox Claw (I to III)
* Prime: Shackles

Just as Awakening Drakania's uniqueness becomes more apparent the better you become at utilizing the correct skill at the right moment, we decided to implement both big and small improvements to her combos. Also, to reduce some of her clunkiness, we increased the activation speed and attack area of certain Dragonblood skills.

Succession
● Prime: Dragon's Fury
- Fixed the skill description.

● Prime: Dragonborn Constitution and Ceaseless Vengeance - Fixed the skill descriptions.

Awakening
● Storm Maul
- Improved attack 1 to now combo more smoothly into Doombringer.
- Improved attack 1 to now combo into Impale
- Added "Recover 40 WP on hits.


● Hexeblood: Sundering Roar
- Improved so the character attacks in the direction the camera is facing when comboing with another skill.

● Legacy
- Slightly increased the skill's attack speed.
- Improved so Legacy activates faster when using the following skills:
* Flow: Cloud's Strife, Flow: Extinction, Savage Decree (in Dragonblood) attack 2, Flow: Obliterate

● Dragonblood: Crackling Flame
- Changed "Stiffness on hits" to "Knockdown on hits."

● Flow: Dragon Flight
- Changed Stamina cost from 250 to 100 and consumes 150 Stamina (up to 450) when continuing the skill.
* With these changes, it will cost the same amount of Stamina as before to travel the maximum distance with the skill, but will cost less Stamina if you stop before you hit the max distance.

● Dragonblood: Tip of the Scale
- Slightly increased attack 2's attack area.

● Dragonblood: Storm Piercer
- Slightly increased the attack areas of attacks 1 and 3.

● Flow: Obliterate
- Improved to now combo more smoothly into Doombringer.


● Hexeblood: Tip of the Scale
- Changed attack 3 to activate faster when continuing the skill.

● Hexeblood: Tectonic Slam
- Fixed so the skill activates when comboing into Doombringer during the Core version of the skill in Hexeblood.

● Dragonblood: Savage Decree
- Improved so your character will now combo in the same direction as the camera.

● Improved the following skill motions to activate more smoothly:

- Fixed the issue where player hits weren't registering in certain terrain of the Jade Starlight Forest.
- Slightly moved the Black Sun team's starting position to the center of the hill at the Jade Starlight Forest battlefield.
- Changed so your party won't be disbanded even after leaving your Practice Mode match.
- Fixed the issue where only the three most recent matches were appearing in the Arena of Solare Rankings window.

'We decided to clean up the buff icon UI by unifying certain buffs, like "church buffs" which displayed 2 or more buff icons, in a similar manner as we did with campsite buffs. We will continue looking at ways to improve the buff icon UI, particularly the feedback given to us by many Adventurers on unifying buffs that grant similar effects. Additionally, we improved the buff icons of buffs, like the one for "Book of Combat", to be more intuitive.

● Improved buffs that took up 2 or more icons to now only take up 1.
- Added new buff icons and tooltip descriptions.

- Improved the buff description and changed the buff icon that can be obtained by using Book of Combat/Book of Life to an item icon.

● Improved the auto-navigation (T) UI to now display a button you can press to toggle auto-Sprint.
- You can press this button to turn the auto-use Sprint feature ON/OFF while using auto-navigation.

Additional Notices
