We’re continuing our New Year’s celebrations with a new set of special login rewards! Log in every day to receive Advice of Valks, Caphras Stones, and 30 days of Artisan's Blessing!

Event Details
- Login Rewards can be viewed by going to the in-game [ESC] menu → [Login Reward]. The rewards are sent to your “Black Spirit’s Safe” once you log in.

Adventurers, the first Global Conquest War of 2022 is coming to the Europe servers!

If you are a guild that wants the glory of representing Europe, then prove your worth in the Calpheon Conquest War on January 29!


* The Conquest War that will select the guilds representing each region will be on each region’s live server. However, the Global Conquest War’s Rounds 1 – 3 will be on a separate event server.
* The guilds that participate in Round 1 will not participate in Round 2. (Representing guilds will decide which guilds participate in which rounds.)


During the Conquest War on January 29 (Sat), three guilds will be selected by the following criteria to represent Europe in the EU x RU Global Conquest War.


* If fewer than three guilds participate in the Calpheon territory’s Conquest War, additional guilds will be selected based on the results of the Valencia territory’s Conquest War results.

* Guild alliances may also participate, but only 100 members from the alliance will be eligible to join the upcoming Global Conquest War. As such, the alliance leader will be asked to send the list of the participating guild members before February 9. These 100 guild members will be placed into one guild in the event server, and the name of the guild will be the name of the guild alliance.

To ensure guilds all have a fair chance, the Calpheon territory’s status will be changed to “liberated” during the maintenance on January 26 (Wed). Please keep this in mind if you plan on participating in the Conquest War on January 22.

- When the Calpheon territory is liberated, the accumulated taxes of the Calpheon territory will be retained and all forts, command posts, and annexes constructed in the territory will be removed.

For the upcoming Global Conquest War, the character data of the representative guilds will be copied to an event server.

* The character data that will be copied during the maintenance on February 9 will be based on the gear that is currently equipped on the character and the mount that is currently taken out.
* Items in your inventory and storage will not be copied. Please note that we will not provide any further assistance if the incorrect items/mount are copied due to negligence.
* The character data of guild members who joined after the maintenance on February 9 will not be copied.
* Adventurers who participate in the Conquest War on January 29 (Sat) as War Heroes will not have their character data copied.

The guilds selected as representatives and more information about the Global Conquest War format will be announced in a future announcement.

With a new year comes a new set of login rewards!

The long-awaited 2022 has finally arrived!

Feels like the year flew by thanks to your Adventurers’ loving support and encouragement, even during these socially difficult times.

The new year is upon us. The ddukgoog (a rice cake soup) is a must-eat dish every January 1st. It also has the meaning of getting a year older when we eat the ddukgoog. How about you? Do you eat a special dish to celebrate the new year?

As the Korea Black Desert service team slowly went through the memories of 2021, our most memorable moment is probably the “2021 CalpheON Ball.” Due to circumstances, we couldn’t meet in person, however, we were glad and found it truly meaningful to have that chance to meet and hear our Adventurers directly.

You are also probably planning to make new year’s resolutions for 2022. We from the Korea Black Desert service team would like to send you our energy so that you may achieve them (of course, this includes Enhancements!). We will continue to support and cheer for our Adventurers and strive to provide great service in the year 2022! Now, shall we start to make great memories in 2022, the year of the Tiger!?

Sawadee kap, Adventurers! We here in Thailand are bearing through warm temperatures of 30 degrees Celsius as we await the new year. On January 1st, we also take part in counting down the minutes of the previous year, and 4 years ago, today, we still remember the ordeals of preparing for the Thai server launch.

It is truly our joy and blessing to be able to welcome in the new year together with our Adventurers. 2021 went by so quickly thanks to you all! It was truly a thankful year we will never be sure to forget!

2022 is just around the corner. In Russian-speaking regions, there is an interesting tradition where you write down your new year’s wishes on a piece of paper, burn it, mix the ashes with a glass of champagne, and drink it on New Year’s Eve to make your wishes come true. Greetings, Adventurers! This is the Console service team. 2021 was truly a meaningful year for Black Desert Console Adventurers. With the “Summer Season” that began this past summer, we were overjoyed to finally bring about the seasonal content to console (especially thanks to so many Adventurers who took part in the update! Being able to spend 2021 with our Adventurers brought us incredible joy. Thanks to the love and support you’ve given us, Black Desert South America is heading towards its 5th Anniversary after our 4th Anniversary in 2021.

Tip! Right-click the [Event] Splat Fisher's Fishing Rod from your Inventory (I) to see the location of the Serene Spring.

④ Once you’ve arrived at the Serene Spring with the [Event] Splat Fisher's Fishing Rod, you’re ready to start ice fishing!
- Keep in mind that you can’t catch the event fish with a normal fishing rod!

How to Ice Fish

(1) At the Serene Spring, right-click the [Event] Splat Fisher's Fishing Rod from your Inventory (I) to start ice fishing.

(2) Once you get a bite, try to successfully complete the minigame.



(3) The minigame will last up to 30 seconds, and your goal is to keep the fish in the blue gauge until its endurance runs out. Once the fish is all tuckered out, you’ll be able to catch the fish with your spacebar!


- Rotate Mouse (Left): Reel in the line and bring the fish closer to the surface.


- Rotate Mouse (Right): Slacken the line and allow the fish to move away from the surface.

The long-awaited Mountain of Eternal Winter was finally unveiled at the CalpheON Ball on Saturday, December 11. Read on to get a recap of what was revealed.

- A frigid place constantly covered with snowfall.

- The mountain ranges of Drieghan connect to the Mountain of Eternal Winter, a place of high altitude and extreme temperatures.

- Adventurers can create a new character and select the Mountain of Eternal Winter to experience its storyline from Level 1.

- In order to keep the unique concept of a monster zone but relieve some of the boredom from repeated rotations, the monster zones of the Mountain of Eternal Winter were intentionally designed with unconventional elements.

- The new monster zones are all soloable.

- Adventurers can obtain a new type of item as loot from the monster zones.




- While it is a solo monster zone, it has a concept where the boss will appear faster if more Adventurers are present.
- Inspired by insects, the Murrowak monsters roam the countless tunnels. If certain conditions are fulfilled while you fight them in these tunnels, the “Queen’s Chamber” will activate, and the Queen will emerge. Defeating the “Queen” will allow you to obtain her loot.
- Thus, even though the monster zone is meant as a solo zone, Adventurers are encouraged to “work together” through the “Queen” mechanic.




- The first death of Labreska, the Golden Dragon guarding over the Mountain of Eternal Winter, led to the birth of the Seven Hexes, or witches. The final seventh witch, Erethea – the void witch, created this prison.
- This place is meant to pass the “Void: Wisdom to Erase Fear of Dragons” to humans
- This zone is meant to give off the feel of an “escape room,” basically a “dungeon escape” concept.
- Adventurers will be presented with goals and conditions that need to be cleared, requiring them to come up with a plan to most efficiently reach the goal.
- There are many rooms, and each room has its own special objective to complete, and upon completion, will activate three gates that are connected to other rooms.
- Each room will slightly vary in objectives and combat situations.
- Clearing all the objectives in certain rooms will allow you to enter a “Golden Room.”





- Interacting with certain towers standing around parts of the Mountain of Eternal Winter will cause hordes of monsters to spill out.
- There’s also a random chance that a somewhat unique monster to appear during the waves.


- Okjinsini are beings born from the tears shed by Labreska, the Golden Dragon and master of the Mountain of Eternal Winter.
- This monster zone was designed for small continuous skirmishes rather than large groups of monsters.
- When defeated, Okjinsini will explode with spirit fire, inflicting damage to other Okjinsinis nearby.
- In areas with thick snowfall, the [Guardian of the Void] Erebjork will appear in the center of snowstorms.
- Once trusted with the sacred calling to retrieve the Holy Flame, the Erebjork has forgotten this duty and taken up a new mission to protect the very heart of the Mountain of Eternal Winter from the unknown darkness that has settled within.

- A new type of item with a new gear slot.
- Just like rings and earrings, you can equip "Artifacts" in two entirely new gear slots. These items are designed to feel like a type of good-luck charm of sorts.
- Unlike current accessories that are centered around granting AP or DP when equipped, Artifacts are designed to better reflect your playstyle and/or class.
- Each Artifact has one to two slots, which allow you to transfuse them with a new item called the “Lightstones.”
- While similar to ordinary crystals in design, these "lightstones" cannot be destroyed if you die during combat, and you can also enhance the lightstones themselves to slightly increase their effects.
- Lightstones can have basic stats such as HP, Accuracy, Evasion, Resistance, Ignore Resistance, and certain special lightstones will even increase the damage of certain skills as well.
- Transfusing your Artifact with these lightstones will activate their effects and, similar to "Combined Magic Crystals," if you equip an Artifact with certain combinations of lightstones, you'll be able to gain a set-effect like buff as well.
- The new items will be available in the Mountain of Eternal Winter by default, but some will drop from previous regions as well.

- “Labreska's Helmet” is equal in status to the Fallen God's Armor as the top-tier of gear available in Black Desert.
- Adventurers who search for hints scattered throughout the Mountain of Eternal Winter and complete the exclusive story questline will be able to craft this helmet.
- Rather than requiring the Flame of Despair, it will use a crafting material exclusively available in the Mountain of Eternal Winter,
- Same as crafting the Fallen God's Armor, it will require a boss gear helmet enhanced to Caphras Lv. 10 or a PEN (V) Blackstar Helmet.
- Equipping Labreska's Helmet with the Fallen God’s Armor will provide an additional set buff (HP +100 and Monster Damage Reduction +10) that is unique from the boss gear set effects.

- The Blackstar Sub-weapon will be updated together with the Mountain of Eternal Winter release.
- As Blackstar weapons were designed with PvE in mind, the Blackstar Sub-weapon will be designed off the Kutum Sub-weapon.

- The Deboreka Belt is next in the series after the Deboreka Necklace.
- As the Crypt of Resting Thoughts in O'dyllita is undergoing slight improvements, the Deboreka Belt will be obtainable from the updated Crypt of Resting Thoughts.

- A new method of travel meant to embody the very concept of this new snowy region.
