Barter refresh is now divided into 3 types.
The first is Regular Refresh. This is the same as the previous refresh where you use 1 barter refresh count every 4 hours to refresh the list. When you can use Regular Refresh after 4 hours, a message will indicate that it is available for use.
The next is Instant Refresh for you to use when regular refresh is still in cooldown but you have enough barter refresh counts. This will refresh your barter list immediately regardless of cooldown time left. Use it when you want to see new items in a hurry, but remember that it will consume 2 barter refresh counts.
The last is Reduce Refresh Cooldown. This is for when you have refresh cooldown, used up Instant Refresh, and don't have enough barter refresh counts left.
Each time you press the Reduce Refresh Cooldown button, you consume 50,000 Parley to reduce 5 minutes off your cooldown.
This is a fixed value, so if you want to reduce cooldown by 20 minutes, you have to press the button 4 times.
When you have Parley below 50,000, Reduce Refresh Cooldown will consume all the Parley you have left and reduce the amount of cooldown left depending on how much was consumed. For example, if you had 38,000 Parley left and press the button, all of your Parley will be consumed and your cooldown will be reduced by 3 minutes and 48 seconds.

Originally, the gift boxes were given to ease your next delivery by providing you with some ingredients required to make more deliveries.
However, with changes to the difficulties of making these deliveries, more gift boxes were collected than intended, which in turn affected the games economy. Hence, we decided to delete the gift boxes.
We are preparing a different method to reward you for making the deliveries. We hope to bring you news of this soon.

The new Secret Book of Old Moon is a new item with all the effects you need to comfortably play the game.
Previously you had to purchase Book of Combat, Book of Skill, Armstrong’s Skill Guide, and others separately, but now you can receive a more variety of effects for the same price.
You can use the item to receive the usual increase in combat and skill EXP, while being able to change skills and skill add-ons, and be able to receive villa buffs at campsites without purchasing villa coupons. And you also receive more stable and wharf slots.
EXP increase from the Secret Book of Old Moon stacks with previously purchased Book of Combat and other similar effects.
Q. Does the EXP increase effect from the Secret Book of Old Moon stack with other similar effects?
A. Yes, it stacks with Book of Combat and Skill, and other EXP increase effects.
Q. Can I use the Secret Book of Old Moon while Armstrong’s Skill Guide and others are in effect?
A. You can and both effects will be active, but if they are included in the effects of the Secret Book of Old Moon, we recommend you use them separately.
Q. Can I use the Secret Book of Old Moon Book and Value Pack together?
A. Yes and EXP increase effects from both will stack.
We had two goals in our minds when we updated the main quest rewards.
Firstly, to let beginners get the necessary rewards at the required moments, and secondly, to adjust the effects of the main quest reward items based on the game's present standards to make these items actually more helpful.
In Black Desert, you can get gear, consumables, and other items through different methods, and be aided by these items until you get used to the game. However, because a significant amount of rewards were given through sub-quests whose requirements, quest flows, and acceptance times were all different, beginners couldn't get the necessary items at the required moments.
Hence we did this update, which will allow beginners to obtain helpful gear through very approachable main quests.
Now, any player can complete the main quests and get gear that will help the player to grow his or her character at the appropriate time.
We have also updated the effects of the quest reward gear which were released a long time ago.
These effects have been increased so that the character in growth could actually be aided by the reward gear based on the character's growth speed and Monster Zone balance. Particularly, you will be able to get these gear earlier than before and therefore equip the new items before exploring a new region.
Moreover, these items can be enhanced. For accessories, changes were made so that you can easily try accessory enhancement, since failing to enhance an accessory doesn't destroy it but decreases its Max Durability only. You can obtain the materials needed for enhancing or recovering the Max Durability of an item continuously from repeatable quests of each region's Monster Zone.
