As announced at the Heidel Ball, Altar of Blood is a 3 player party defense mode.
After its introduction at the Global Lab, many adventurers gave various feedback on the Altar of Blood. Many found the use of their own characters and skills to be positive, which allowed for a variety of co-op strategies.
There were also feedback on the difficulty of the mode, questions on what will happen to the Altar of Training, and many others. We will continue to better the mode based on the precious feedback you send our way.
We plan to add a more variety of PVE content, like the Altar of Blood. Currently, one of the only places where you can make use of a fully geared character is out in the field fighting monsters. We aim to add more places for you to feel the satisfaction of making use of your hard earned gear.

When we announced that we would add the function to interact with NPCs while on mounts, many adventurers welcomed the idea.
However, after implementing the function, we received numerous feedback that it is difficult to maneuver mounts when the get on/off mount and the interact key are the same.
To resolve this issue and maintain the intention of the patch, we decided to add a command for getting off the mount.
We thank every one of you who gave us feedback on this.

This week's Kunoichi update is based on the feedback you gave us, improving skill combos to increase efficiency in both PvE and PvP situations. Of course, we could've just increased the damage of each skill, but we decided it would be better in the long run to help players better their playability instead. We will continue to monitor collected data to adjust the stats and hope that this will be meaningful to Kunoichi players.
And of course, we will continue to adjust the balance of other characters as well.
Thank you.

The Cron Meals were added as a higher class food items to lessen the hassle of using multiple items at a time. However, many adventurers did not use them because their effects were not better than using multiple items. To resolve this, we've improved the effects of the meals to fit their intended use.

So far, the buff list was just divided into buffs and debuffs, which was difficult to read when there were too many. Many of you requested this improved and we promised we would do so at the Heidel Ball.
Now the buff list is divided into three parts; buffs given by items, buffs cast by characters, and debuffs. Also, buffs that can be combined into a group, such as Cron Meals, will be displayed as a single icon. For instance, Warrior's Executioner previously created 7 icons, but will now be displayed as a single Executioner icon.

We received various feedback from numerous adventurers after the Heidel Ball. There were some points we never thought of before and some we changed priority levels to deal with earlier.
To answer to your call, we are preparing to review and make applications of your feedback in every week's patch.
This week, we changed guild skills so that Guild Officers can also use them. We plan to add more ranks, but added this feature first. We will implement more segmented ranks in a future patch.

All quests of Black Desert give Contribution Points as rewards and they were used as a resource to live in this world. However, they are not used as they were first intended to be anymore.
We've also noted that many adventurers enjoy completing quests after the addition of Rulupee's Travel Log. To help these players, completion of quests now increase amity with the NPCs of the quests and reward more Combat EXP.
It is not a big change, but we hope this brings more meaning to those who enjoy quests.

The Shai have been a beloved part of the world of Black Desert, and now, you can play as a Shai yourself. The Shai is not a combat based character so she offers new ways for you to play. Please go ahead and begin a new adventure with your very own Shai!

Donkeys have been a part of the world of Black Desert since the beginning, but they never received the attention they deserve. With the release of Shai, we would like to give the donkeys a well deserved fresh new start as well. Although they cannot completely replace horses, we plan to start off with them being companions of Shai and add more donkey specific functions as time goes by. Not being noticed by monsters and having a sort of roaming mode would be good examples.

Initially, this earring was planned to be added with the release of Star's End, but we needed more time to test it because it is different from existing items.
The Black Distortion Earring has high AP, but will drop your DP. With this, we plan to give more choices in items to adventurers, depending on their playstyles.

Those of you who've experienced the Aakman Temple will understand the direction of the patch. This zone has many different sized rooms, with each having different popularity depending on the efficiency in monster arrangement and population.
Also, you will now be able to continue fighting in one room, similar to when the monster zone event was on, instead of jumping from one room to another. We are also working on other zones to better them, while keeping their characteristics.

When exploring the world, you will sometimes come across objects called "Treasure Chests". However, the thrill of discovery disappears once you realize you need keys to open them...
Now we've added keys as rewards to various main quests you complete along the way, so don't forget to open them.

All quests have a quest summary. Left clicking on the quest list at the left of your screen will open a window showing useful information for completing the quest.
Life quests also come with guides to help you along the way. This week's change addressed some of the older information regarding Mediah main quests. It's not a huge change, but we hope it gives you better information in completing the quests.
With this, we will look into the summaries again to make sure they deliver the correct content. We would also like to thank the adventurers who pointed this out to us.

As reported by many adventurers, the issue where some potions, such as the [Battlefield] HP Potion (XL) and Grain Juice, could not be used for the Fairy skill Miraculous Cheer has been fixed. You can now use Miraculous Cheer in the Red Battlefield with battlefield potions.

We've put a lot of thought into this change.
There were many instances after defeating Vell where a lot of the players would be running into each other trying to acquire their loot, causing lots of inconveniences.
We've improved this so that loot from defeating Vell will now be given straight to the Black Spirit's Safe.

We received suggestions that Karma should recover faster when defeating criminal monsters of Pila Ku. Thank you for the great idea.

We are working on revamping monster zones to resolve the need for more zones to play in. However, since a revamp cannot be done in a short amount of time, we've decided to increase the monster respawn rate of some of the zones. Our initial plan was to have weekly events with different zones affected each week, but decided to include last week's zones to this week's event so that more adventurers can experience it. We promise we'll do our best to revamp the monster zones.

The existing transport system had wagons (ships) traveling around the world and adventurers had to place their goods on these wagons (ships) under reservation to a desired destination. Thus, you had to wait for these to arrive to where you are, even when you've made a transport reservation. However, we were also aware that transportation system had a few intermittent issues where transport didn't start and items did not arrive correctly.
This system has now been improved so that you can have the transport with your goods depart whenever you want them to.

Tamers can also make interactions while on their Heilangs.
Keep in mind that you still need to be off a mount to do interactions that require change of motion, such as greeting or stealing.

This was a part of the Heidel Ball announcement and is included in today's patch.
We hope that this patch would give another method to acquire stacks and with it liven up the Sherekhan Necropolis area more than before.
Although the number of Dragon Scale Fossils required is high, we've also adjusted the drop rates last week so that obtaining them is 6 times easier than before.
