Dig up Lakiaros!
Lakiaros are very rare medicinal plants that used to grow up in the mountains of Drieghan. They were thought to have become extinct when a dark force contaminated the land there.
However, when the Drieghanese buried the Dragon’s Tooth and the blessed rain fell from the skies, the Lakiaro also started to appear again.
This "Miracle of Drieghan" not only started appearing again, but its range expanded to beyond the mountains and even into Kamasylvia. They remain relatively rare, so if you are out looking for Lakiaros, you might have to search wider than you would think.
To dig up the Lakiaro, you will have to play our newest minigame. If you find a Lakiaro, you can equip one of our new hoes (Manos Hoe, Dostter Hoe, or Dostter Steel Hoe) and interact with the Lakiaro to start the minigame.
The object of the minigame is to either find all of the roots of the Lakiaro, or dig up all of the dirt around the Lakiaro. If you are too rough while digging for the Lakiaro, you may damage it.
Simply left or right-click to dig up the Lakiaro. You will get a better reward the less damaged the Lakiaro end up. Besides, if you manage to dig up a perfectly intact Lakiaro root, you will be able to sell your reward for an exorbitant price!
So what are you waiting for, start digging!
- There are seven types of Lakiaro. When you find a Lakiaro, you can interact with it to start digging.
- The minigame to dig up a Lakiaro is tile-based. It can be a 12x12 grid or 14x14, depending on the type of Lakiaro you are digging up.
- The objective of the minigame is to dig up the Lakiaro while damaging it as less as possible.
- Depending of the remaining value of the Lakiaro after it is dug up, you will get different rewards.
- The difficulty of the minigame will depend on the type of Lakiaro you are trying to dig up. More difficult Lakiaros will give a better reward.
- Depending on the Lakiaro, the minigame could have a different number of stages or tiles.
- There are two ways to approach the Lakiaro while digging for it.
- When you play the minigame, you will able to keep track on the UI the number of tiles left with roots, dirt, or pebble. Left-click your mouse to dig deeply and right-click your mouse to dig shallowly.
- There are different digging options for the Lakiaro minigame
- Depending of the remaining value of the Lakiaro after it is dug up, you will get different rewards.
- If you manage to dig up an intact Primitive Lakiaro, you will get a reward worth 100 million Silver.
- Lush High-quality Lakiaro and Lush Primitive Lakiaro are more difficult to dig up because the number of tiles in the game are greater. However, they will give better rewards.
- You cannot be attacked while playing the Lakiaro minigame.
- You cannot play the minigame if you have exceeded 150% of your weight limit.
- You can go to NPC Dostter in Duvencrune to do the Lakiaro tutorial quests (Burning Thirst, Lakiaro for Research) to help you understand the minigame better.
Some of the World Bosses are enraged by the fearless challenges being made by the countless Adventurers. Many Adventurers lost their lives as they underestimated the powers of the World Bosses. As a result, the artifacts of the Adventurers have piled up around the area.
In Black Desert Online, guilds are not only where you can find fellow adventurers to embark on a journey with, but also where you can share various useful information with each other. Guilds can grow into stronger guilds depending on the efforts of its guild members, and it’s also a system in which guild members can receive the benefits of higher daily wages and guild bonuses as their guild grows.
Throughout the years of the game service, the amount of wealth guilds could accumulate through Node Wars and Conquest Wars has greatly increased. However, there were smaller guilds and newer guilds which had difficulty participating in Node Wars or Conquest Wars. Completing Guild Quests was not enough for these guilds to collect as much Guild Skill EXP and funds as the more advanced guilds. Since the Guild Funds are directly related to the amount of daily wages or bonuses given out to individual guild members, many adventurers only tried to join guilds which were already advanced.
We want to gradually make improvements to this system so that adventurers can be encouraged to create many new guilds, and also actively recruit fellow adventurers. As a first step, we’ve started an event where you can obtain the EXP and funds received for completing Guild Quests 5 times more compared to before. Though this will equally benefit all guilds, we expect newly created guilds to especially benefit from this change and experience faster growth.
If you’re a part of a guild which is already quite advanced, then you should look out for the newly added guild skill. Unlike the existing guild skills which are mostly passive skills, the new guild skill provides a buff which can be used by all the guild members. Furthermore, guild members will be able to select the desired type of skill depending on the situation for the perfect timing. You can also expect more new skills in the future.
We are also preparing to revamp Guild Quests, the way the quests are accepted, and the rewards for completing the quests.
