Both Kakao Games and Pearl Abyss are constantly looking for ways to create different and exciting events for you all to enjoy. The recent level 60 challenge was just one example of that, as we wanted to give many players the chance to experience the game in a new way, for a limited amount of time.
Our communication on this event was insufficient, not only on the original presentation of the event but as both the CM and GM team answered follow up questions, specifically on the removal date of the Trina Knights First Captain's Support Kit (7 Days).
We are deeply sorry for the confusion and misinformation we caused.
Please understand, that this was not done with any kind of malicious intent and we are committed to bringing new and exciting events to the game.
Due to the nature of these items and the impact they have, we concluded that we are unable to extend the event, as the items can be disruptive to the game if used outside of the event period and a controlled environment.
As a gesture of apology for the error we made we will be providing all players with the following compensation during the next scheduled maintenance:

Fixed the issue where the location info. of a switched character that has been switched via Character Selection window would not be updated.

The background loading speed of certain regions and towns in Calpheon has been optimized.
The loading speed of areas where there are many installments and objects has been optimized. Therefore, the game should now be more fluid even with a lower-spec PC or when travelling on your mount.
Game World, NPC & Effects
Game World:
Default setting of the skill Morning Star of the Fairy has been changed from ON to OFF.
Fixed the issue where the skill would turn on from Character Selection window or during Server Change.
NPC:
It has been changed that some NPCs sitting on chairs will no longer greet the Lord that conquers the relevant territory.
Mounts
Fixed the issue where a ship would spin rapidly when another adventurer who was invisible via the ‘Hide Other Characters’ setting boarded the ship.

Skill level for passive-type skills will now be displayed.
The fish effect that appears on top of the character upon a successful fishing during auto-fishing has now been removed.
Further improvements have been made to fix the graphical awkwardness in the hair part upon wearing the Coco Hat.

Some of the soldiers at Cron Castle deserted their posts. There will be less soldiers present at the Cron Castle now.
HP of Young Candidum, Young Black Rust, and Young Nineshark has increased by 50%.
The tree spirit will now appear more distant away from the node manager of Forest of Seclusion.
Boss Vision Range has been fixed to not be affected by another World Boss that spawns in a different territory.
The amount of time Quint the First Troll attacks by repeatedly jumping in the same place has been reduced by 60%.

With this update, a special in-game housing item ‘A birthday present from the Black Spirit’ will be given out on the birthday anniversary of your Family creation.
The birthday cake item will be sent out via in-game mailbox (B) every anniversary.
For any Family created before July 25th, 2017, their anniversary birthday cake will have already been sent out during this week’s maintenance.
For any Family created on and after July 26th, 2017, their anniversary birthday cake will be sent out on July 26th, 2018 and forward (1 year after the Family creation).
Sailor Contract from before has been renamed as Sailboat Sailor Contract.
Frigate Sailor Contract that can be equipped on Epheria Frigate has been added.
Now you can hire 4 different types of Epheria Boatmen from the Amity Shop of Calpheon Worker Manager NPC.
You need to have at least 500 Amity points to access the Amity Shop with the relevant NPC and upon purchase of the contract, Amity Points will decrease by 500.

Depending on the type of the Boatman, a specific ability of the frigate will increase.
Frigate Contract Renewal: Professional Boatman has been added to the Amity Shop of NPC Tirol in Dias Farm of Calpheon.
You need to have at least 500 Amity points to access the Amity Shop with the relevant NPC and upon purchase of the contract, Amity Points will decrease by 500.
As with Sailboat Contract Renewals, right-click the Frigate Contract Renewal to open up the UI to renew the contract.
The contract renewal will extend the contracted period by 24 hours, and the Boatmen contracts can be renewed up to 7 times.
New quests to obtain Skilled or Professional Frigate Boatmen from Philaberto Falasi of Port Epheria has been added.
‘Skilled’ quest: The quest can be obtained from Philaberto Falasi with Amity over 1,000. This can be done with a character of Skilled 1 and above in Sailing who possesses a normal Frigate Boatman contract.
‘Professional’ quest: The quest can be obtained from Philaberto Falasi with Amity over 1,000. This can be done with a character of Professional 1 and above in Sailing who possesses a Skilled Frigate Boatman contract.
System:
Fixed the issue where the game screen would turn purple intermittently.
A new function to give an alarm message if there is a locked item when exchanging items with NPCs has been added.
Additional improvements have been made regarding the issues where an empty screen would be displayed upon opening up web UI in-game.
Fixed the issue where cancelling multiple item exchange with an NPC by pressing Cancel (ESC) button on the calculator UI during Exchange did not work and the Exchange was processed.
It has been changed so that Exchange would not be possible when inputting the quantity of the item then cancelling it on the exchange UI while trying to exchange multiple items at once with an NPC.
In order to prevent possible system function failures, the game client window can now only be resized when your character is on standby.
Fixed the issue where resizing game client window while performing Concealment and Dash skills would allow irregular actions.

The quests can be obtained from NPC Aniki with a character of Lv. 58 and above, with Professional 1 or above in Hunting.
However, if you cannot have a conversation with Aniki, you cannot accept the quests and in this case, you need to proceed with the main quests of Kamasylvia Part 2 first.

Interface Changes
A “Show Stacked HP Bar” function has been added. This will help you see the amount of HP another adventurer has more easily.
You can toggle the function in Settings>General Settings>General>Show/Hide.
Your character’s HP bar will not appear stacked to you.
When you use this function, you will see HP bars in the colors of the rainbow. The colors will correspond to the HP an adventurer has, and it will change every 1000 HP.
If the HP is over 7000, the color cycle will loop back to red.
It has been changed so that Highest-spec mode for game settings can be selected from Graphics menu.
Fixed the issue where pressing all 3 filtering buttons on top right corner of the Inventory (I) would cause duplicate sounds.
Fixed the overlapping issue of text and the ‘Learned Only’ button in Cooking Utensil/ Alchemy Tool inside Residences.
Fixed the issue where abnormal message would be displayed upon using normal or Awakened Giath Summon Scroll.
It has been changed so that stats from Fairy skill ‘Feathery Steps’ would be applied in the Weight Limit Exceeded UI.

During the extended period, general difficulty setting of the Mysteries of Summer will be lowered:

Drop rate of Red Mercury, Samoga's Molar, Obsidian Dust, and Golden Mirage has increased.
Red Mercury: 80 times higher drop rate compared to before.
Samoga's Molar: 25 times higher drop rate compared to before.
Golden Mirage: 80 times higher drop rate compared to before.
Obsidian Dust: 80 times higher drop rate compared to before.

The new rules can be enjoyed with the Node War that will restart on July 22nd. Please read on below to find the changes and additions made to our Node Wars and Conquest Wars.
Node War
Now nodes will be classified into Normal Nodes and Conquest Nodes.
The Conquest Nodes will be classified into 3 different tiers with the higher tier giving more taxes to collect. Normal Nodes will give less amount of tax than Conquest Nodes. Conquest Nodes and Normal Nodes cannot be occupied at the same time.
Node Wars will now be available daily for guilds to participate in so that adventurers can enjoy large-scale battles more regularly. As a result, the maximum number of nodes that one guild can occupy will be extended from 2 to 6 nodes.
Instead, Guild Members who can participate in the Node Wars will be decided by the number of nodes occupied by the Guild.
To summarize the revisions and additions, please read on below:
At max, a total of 6 nodes will be allowed for occupancy by a single Guild.
Guild Masters can assign a ‘Chance to Occupy’ to the Guild Members through Guild window (G).
The Chance to Occupy will decide how many Node Wars the relevant Guild Members will be allowed to participate in the relevant week.
The Chance to Occupy for Guild Members will reset at the end of Conquest War on Saturdays.
Normal Nodes and Conquest Nodes cannot be occupied at the same time by the same Guild.
You cannot participate in a Conquest Node after conquering a Normal Node. And you cannot participate in a Normal Node after conquesting a Conquest Node.
Depending on the number of nodes occupied, maximum participants allowed for conquering additional nodes will be placed. Max participants allowed depending on number of nodes are as follows:
Guild Members-to-participate in the Node/Conquest War can be decided via the Chance to Occupy system. Guild Officers will use an exclusive UI window from Guild window (G) and grant at max 5 times the Chance to Occupy in Node/Conquest War for Guild Members.
You can place Chance to Occupy to 20 members at a time.
Regardless of actual participation of the guild member, the 1 Change to Occupy will be deducted every successful occupation of a node from a guild.
Guild Member who do not have any Chance to Occupy remaining will be classified as a non-participant and cannot take part in the Node War.
For example if there are total of 100 Guild Members in a Guild, the Guild Master can grant 20 members at a time the Chance to Occupy (from 1 to 5 times). However, all 100 Guild Members can be set to participate in the very first Node War and please check the chart with an example below for clarification.
If the 20 Guild Members who have been given 1 Chance to Occupy participates and successfully conquers to occupy a Node, that 20-member group can no longer participate in that week’s Node Wars. The remaining 80 out of a 100-member Guild, if this 80 Guild Members had been given 2~5 Chance to Occupy, will be able to participate in the next Node War.
Chance to Occupy cannot be changed if Node War or Conquest War is in progress.
However, Conquest War allows at max 100 Guild Members to participate regardless of the number of nodes occupied by the Guild.
Conquest War
Conquest Wars have received new rules.
From the number of Conquest Nodes excluding the Normal Nodes, Guilds with 2 or more nodes occupied can build Fort/Command Posts and participate in the Conquest Wars.
In order to construct Fort/Command Post/Field HQ, you need to occupy 2 or more Conquest Nodes excluding the Normal Nodes. You can start constructing a day after occupying 2 Conquest Nodes.
In order to cut down on resurrection cooldown and time needed to move to the relevant areas, a new Castle Gate resurrection points have been added to Calpheon, Mediah, and Valencia Conquest Wars to bring the action faster to you.
Castle Gate resurrection point for Offensive and Defensive are located in different locations.
The Offensive Guild must have destroyed the Castle Gate in order to resurrect near the Castle Gate.
It has been changed so that Cannons cannot be installed inside the castle in Conquest Wars.
If a Guild with more than 2 nodes occupied is participating in the Conquest War, 2% of the tax from the territory can be collected every 10 minutes the Fort/Command post is successfully defended.
Forts/Command Posts/Field HQs needed to participate in Conquest Wars can be built on the day of the Conquest War.
The tax obtainable at this point equals 2% of the amount expected to be collected excluding Security Budget.
This tax will be collected at the end of the Conquest War when the opposing side’s Fort/Command Post is destroyed.
Offensive side can obtain at max 20% of the territory tax.
If the Offensive side ultimately wins in the Conquest War, the tax obtained for successfully defending Fort/Command Post will not be counted in the calculation. Same as before, amount excluding Security Budget will be collected.
If the Defensive side ultimately wins in the Conquest War, total amount of tax excluding the tax already collected by the Offensive side and Security Budget will be given as the winning reward.
If there are several Guilds participating in the Offensive side, at max 20% of the tax collected for the Offensive side will be allocated by number of Guilds participating.
For example if there are 3 Guilds participating in the Offensive side, about 6.66% (of the 20%) will be given to each Guild. Please be informed that the max 20% tax collected for the Offensive side is given only in the case where the Offensive side loses and the Defensive side wins.
If there is a Guild who defeats other remaining Guilds in the Offensive side after the Fort/Command Post/Field HQ of the Defensive Guild is destroyed, the single Guild remaining will be declared the winner and take all the tax of the territory.
Other participating Guilds in the Offensive side who loses to this single Guild cannot be given a share of the 20% tax collectable during the Conquest War.
If there is no Guild declared as the winner of the Conquest War even after the Fort/Command Post/Field HQ of the Defensive Guild is destroyed and the Conquest War time ends, the territory will be liberated and no Offensive Guild will be able to obtain the tax.
Other/Conquest War Balance
Damage of the Basic Attack, Horn Attack, Fore Chop, and Charge of the Elephant used on Castle Gates has been increased by 30%.
The number of target hits inflicted from Charge skill of the Elephant used on Castle Gate, Fort, Command Post, annexes and installments has decreased from 16 to 8 target hits.
Damage of the Basic Attack, Horn Attack, Fore Chop, and Charge of the Elephant used on other adventurers has been increased by 20%.
Damage of the Basic Attack, Horn Attack, Fore Chop, and Charge of the Elephant will now be applied on Cannons as well.
Damage from Cannons used on Castle Gates has been increased by 300%.
Damage from Cannons used on other adventurers has been increased by 400%.
Cannon’s DP has increased by 100%, and Durability has increased by 900%.
Cannons can be destroyed with ease if you utilize horses and Elephants.
Damage from horses used on Cannons has been increased by 700%.
Damage from horses used on Command Post/annexes and installments has been increased by 500%.
Siege Defense Tower’s DP has increased by 50% and Durability has increased by 900%.
Siege Defense Towers can be destroyed with ease if you utilize horses and Elephants.
Durability of Calpheon Castle’s, Mediah Castle’s, Valencia Castle’s Outer Gate and Inner Gate has decreased by 50%.
Wooden Fences and and Medium Siege Towers used in Conquest Wars has increased in height by 40%.
Moving Speed of Medium/Large Siege Towers has increased by 50%.
Medium/Large Siege Towers can be destroyed with ease if you utilize horses and Elephants.
Damage from Flame Towers used on other adventurers has been increased by 50%, and damage from Hwachas used on other adventurers has been increased by 20%.
Production time for the following items usable in Node/Conquest Wars has been reduced.
Medium Siege Tower Workshop 15 mins. → 10 mins.
Large Siege Tower Workshop 20 mins. → 15 mins.
Indomitable Flag Factory 30 mins. → 15 mins.
If the adventurer dies during Node/Conquest Wars, the corpse will disappear right away and Medical Kit or Resurrection skills will no longer be applicable.
In addition, a new view mode where you can observe the Node/Conquest War from the allies’ point-of-view called ‘Ally Viewpoint’ has been added. While using this function, press F5 to switch views amongst allies.
Due to the balance changes applied to Node/Conquest Wars, the price of the items sold by the Guild Military Supply has been changed.
Sunday~Friday: Node War from 20:00 CEST until up to 22:00 CEST
Saturday: Conquest War from 20:00 CEST until up to 24:00 CEST

Tax Collection
There will not be a separate process of collecting taxes and the tax stacked up for a week will be instantly sent as Guild Funds to the winning guild who successfully conquers and occupies a node/territory. Security Budget rules will remain the same.
Taxes will be classified among Normal Node < Conquest (Tier 1) < Conquest (Tier 2) < Conquest (Tier 3).

In all territories of Balenos, Serendia, Calpheon, Mediah, and Valencia, nodes will be divided up into Normal Nodes and Conquest Nodes (in 3 different Tiers).
The total number of nodes are 154 however, same as before.
Normal Nodes = 54
Conquest (Tier 1) = 65 Nodes
Conquest (Tier 2) = 20 Nodes
Conquest (Tier 3) = 15 Nodes
As there are tiers placed among Conquest Nodes now, you will obtain different amount of taxes depending on the tier of the Conquest Nodes.

Please keep in mind Guild Alliance is a new content that will be updated in the near future and you may see texts related to Guild Alliance while you progress the new Node/Conquest Wars. As for now, please neglect the texts as Guild Alliance is not available content as of maintenance of 7/18/2018.
On last note, a special event to commemorate the new changes introduced to Node/Conquest Wars is underway and will be announced later this week.
New Transport route has been added between Sand Grain Bazaar and Altinova.
Fixed the issue where clicking ‘Get All’ button would only receive items one by one when there were both items to send and to receive on the Transport list.
It has been changed that when the Alchemy Stone can no longer go through Polishing if it has been fully upgraded.
Max amount of Skill EXP obtainable for completing Guild Quests has been increased.
System:
Fixed the issue where Boss Vision Range would not work properly when using the function with Quint and Muraka.
It has been changed that Hotkeys on the item tooltip will also be changed when changing Hotkeys under Settings.
It has been fixed that a system message would be displayed when there is insufficient amount of Black Stones upon trying Force-Enhance.
Fixed the issue where the voice of the Black Spirit will still come out even when the alarm for the Black Spirit was switched off under Settings.
Lv. UI of the character you want to switch to from the Change Character section on End Game window will now be placed from ‘above’ the Character Name to the ‘right of’ the Character Name.
Application for Black Desert Global Lab will be given once per Family. (NA only)
The button for Global Lab will be more visible.
‘New’ icon has been added to Global Lab button.
Global Lab has been added to the Recommended Content located at the bottom of the new ESC menu.

Defeating enemies while mounting Siege weapons like Cannons, Hwachas, and Flame Towers will also increase Black Spirt’s Rage by 1%.
Fixed the graphical awkwardness upon wearing the Coco Hat.
Ranger:
Fixed the awkward movement during the skill Pinpoint performed while moving left in Longbow combat mode.
Fixed the issue where the shape of the Giath’s Helmet would change in a specific part of customizing.
Sorceress:
It has been made easier and more natural now to switch to Scythe combat mode after using the skill Midnight Stinger.
Fixed the issue where HP equaling the amount of damage inflicted was being recovered instead upon using the skill Sinister Omen.
Witch:
Fixed the issue where the skill Absolute: Fireball could not be used when used with Charge through Quick Slot.
Fixed the graphical awkwardness in the right shoulder upon wearing Pila Fe Outlaw outfit in a specific part of customizing.
Wizard:
Fixed the issue where the skill Absolute: Fireball could not be used when used with Charge through Quick Slot.
Musa:
Fixed the graphical issue of the back part of the Martillo swimpants.
Maehwa:
Added the missing designer name “Design: Nechu” for the outfit description of Rakshande outfit.
Ninja:
The following effect will be applied during Concealment from usage of the skills Ninjutsu: Concealment, Shadow Cloak, Ninjutsu: Oni Shadow, Shuriken: Moon Dive.
Constant consumption of Stamina -100 upon moving during Concealment.
Constant recovery of Stamina when on standby during Concealment.
Concealment will be nullified if Stamina falls below 150 during Concealment.
Defense effect of the skill Suicide Fall has changed from Invincible effect to Super Armor effect.
Kunoichi:

Four new guild accessories have been added to the Guild shop.
These items can only be used for 7 days. They cannot be Enhanced.
You can purchase these items at a Guild shop from any Guild Manager NPC.
They can be purchased with Guild Funds by any guild member. However, your Guild Allowance must be set higher than the price of the item in order for you to purchase that item
The accessories have the same stats as the PRI versions of the following items: Ring of Crescent Guardian, Tungrad Earring, Ogre Ring, or Basilisk's Belt.

The distance that Young Khuruto would chase after has been reduced by 40%.

Fixed the issue where the UI name would not be refreshed intermittently when opening Mount Inventory and/or Campsite Storage.
Fixed the issue where it was not possible to tick the checkbox to use Silvers in Storage when using Stable from a territory without a Storage.
It has been updated so that Purchase would be possible right away from the Purchase window on the Stable even when not having items for Skill Change, Skill Removal, Skill Training under possession.
Fixed the issue where the text was cut off upon selecting Transport>Destination>Transportation for major towns from the World Map (M).
It has been changed that the icon of Calpheon Marketplace Director NPC Elle Belucci would be displayed at Calpheon North Gate from World Map (M).
Fixed the issue where a list of adventurers who had not been signed up to the guild would come out in Recruit Guild Member window.
The question mark icon without a function on the Extend Expiration Period window for frigates has been removed.
It has been changed so that registering items that cannot be stacked on the Extend Expiration Period window for frigates will no longer display +/- buttons.
Resolved Issues
Fixed the issue where text would go out of the textbox upon selecting certain skills from the Skill Add-on UI.
Known Issues:
We are aware of the issue where the text of ‘marketplace unregistrable’ is being displayed for Marine Romance outfits. Please know that the outfits are, in fact, marketplace registrable.
We are aware that Black Spirit’s Adventure 1 icon is showing up in the ESC menu although it’s not the event period. We want to confirm that BS1 is not available at this moment and we’ll notify you when the event will restart.
