We recently discovered it was possible to trade items through an unintended method using the Central Market. As a result, we temporarily disabled the trade of high-value Main/Awakening/Sub Weapons during the maintenance on June 2.

Since the Central Market is an important mechanic that greatly influences the game, we ask for your understanding regarding the lack of prior notice before we implemented the measure above.

To summarize, the following have been temporarily disabled from being traded:
● Main/Awakening/Sub Weapons that are worth 10 billion or more silver cannot be bought or sold on the Central Market

After we temporarily disabled the trade of the items above, we started investigating the trade records of PEN (V): Blackstar items and other important items. However, such an exhaustive investigation will take some time, and we apologize in advance for any inconveniences that may arise as a result.

We will update you once our investigations are complete and let you know what actions we’ll be taking if we discover any evidence of improper trade. Additionally, we will be taking steps to prevent the improper use of the Central Market and improving the Central Market to ensure its fairness for all Adventurers.

As such, the results of our investigations will be announced in a future notice, and we are working to prepare the Central Market update as quickly as possible.

- Hadum, the God of Despair, has extended their reach to the Lord of Corruption in Serendia Shrine, where the lair of Kzarka lies. To resist against Hadum's infestation, Kzarka has gone berserk.
- You can start the Barrier of Infestation content through a weekly quest on the Elvia Realm servers. The barrier is divided into five levels. You can start with Level 1 to 3 in a group of 3 Adventurers, but once you make your way to Levels 4-5, you will need to face Kzarka alone.
- For each level, you will be given a 7-minute time limit. You must complete the attempt within 7 minutes to receive your reward.


● Added the items "Cup of Lone Tide" and the "Cup of Tragic Nightfall." You can use these items to imbue certain belts to get the All Damage Reduction or All AP effects.


● Behr, the village of hunters, is filled with rumors of new and rare hunting monsters. These monsters include a hawk that gives off a unique light and a dangerous black leopard that prowls about hidden in the darkness of the night.

The “Apply for Game Data Transfer” program that began in January has come to an end on May 31, 2021 (Mon) 23:59 (UTC).

Once again, we, at Pearl Abyss, want to thank all our Adventurers for the support you’ve given us since we began the direct service of Black Desert Online.

Now that the game data transfer period has come to an end, we ask our Adventurers to take note of the following information.

Unfortunately, Adventurers who did not transfer their game data within the game data transfer period will need to create a new account and start a fresh adventure in Black Desert Online.

However, we’ve prepared special gifts to help both our Adventurers who did not transfer their game data and new Adventurers who started during the game data transfer period but did not receive the transfer rewards.

- New Adventurers who signed up between March 24, 2021 (Wed) after maintenance – May 31, 2021 (Mon) 23:59 (UTC) will receive the [New Adventurer] Black Spirit's Thank You Bundle in their in-game mailbox (B) during the maintenance on June 8, 2021 (Tue).

* Note: Adventurers who have already received the transfer rewards by contacting Customer Support after creating a new Family will be excluded.

- Adventurers who sign up for the first time after the end of the game data transfer period on May 31, 2021 (Mon) 23:59 (UTC) will be able to obtain a special reward from the Challenge (Y) menu after the maintenance on June 8, 2021 (Tue). More details will be announced on the official Black Desert website at a later date.


Since all accounts that were not transferred before the end of the game data transfer period have been deleted, the deleted Family/Character/Guild names will become available to use after the maintenance on June 8, 2021 (Tue).

Thus, you will be able to use the Family/Character/Guild names of all deleted accounts after the maintenance on June 8, 2021 (Tue).

If you haven’t heard, Pearl Abyss—the developers of Black Desert Online—is now the publisher for the NA/EU service starting from February 25, 2021.

So, what does this entail?

It means you need to sign up for a Pearl Abyss account and transfer your game data to continue your adventures in the world of Black Desert Online!

But this also means that if fail to transfer your game account by May 31 at 23:59 (UTC), your game will be permanently deleted after this date.

We have outlined below some of the important information that all Adventurers should know about the Game Data Transfer. Please take careful note of the steps below, as failure to comply may prevent the transfer of your data!

1. Please note that when the Game Data Transfer period is over, players will no longer be able to transfer game data. All non-transferred data will be deleted and unavailable for restoration after May 31, 2021.

2. From February 24, 2021 players can no longer access Black Desert through Kakao Games. Players may only continue playing on the Black Desert NA/EU Service with their original Family Names, if they have successfully completed the Game Data Transfer to the Pearl Abyss service.

3. Adventurers accessing Black Desert through Steam also need to complete the Game Data Transfer in order to continue using their Family Names from February 25, 2021 onward.

4. Pearl Abyss is not responsible for any issues that may arise due to not registering for the Game Data
Transfer. Pearl Abyss cannot help players in any way if they fail to register for the transfer before the cut-off date.

5. The Game Data Transfer will be made on a per account basis. Thus, if a player possesses two Family names in the NA and EU servers respectively, both of which are tied to one account, both Families will be transferred and all character data in each Family will be transferred.

6. After completing Live Registration for the Game Data Transfer, you cannot cancel the Game Data Transfer. Please take note of this fact and proceed carefully.

7. If you do not agree to the Pearl Abyss Homepage Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy, registering for an account or for the Game Data Transfer will not be possible. Please refer to the Privacy Policy for more detailed information about Personal Information Collection at Pearl Abyss.

8. Players can check the status of their Game Data Transfer through the corresponding page on the Pearl Abyss Official Website. You may access this data by logging into your account, or via update notices received through your registered email address.

Maintenance Reason

• Fix an issue where trying to upgrade a Barricade, Flame Tower, or Hwacha as a normal or apprentice guild member during Node/Conquest War causes the materials to be consumed and the annex to be removed.
  
• [Nova] Fix an issue where the duration of the star summoned by Star's Ring is abnormal.

- Adventurers cannot enter or use the Battle Arena, Red Battlefield, or Altar of Blood during maintenance in the Marni server.
- Guild missions during partial maintenance will be cancelled, and the number of acceptable missions will not be restored.
