Monster Hunter: World - MHW_CAPCOM
Bug Fixes:
- Fixed a bug where players wouldn't be able to use the keyboard to access the custom radial menu while moving around if the menu controls in the Keyboard Settings were bound to the WASD keys.

- Fixed a bug that sometimes caused the framerate to drop during some monsters' attack animations.

- Fixed a bug where, when sorting equipment at the item box, sorting weapons by the "Great Sword" category would also sort Sever-type Kinsects to the top of the list, and sorting weapons by the "Sword & Shield" category would also sort Blunt-type Kinsects to the top of the list.

- Fixed an issue for players who were unable to unlock the 8★ quest "Lightning Strikes Twice". This issue occurred very rarely in high rank quests and expeditions, preventing research points from accumulating when you collect high rank Kirin traces. Updating to version 5.10 will allow the quest to unlock, but you must re-gather the necessary research points.

- Fixed a bug where the notification beginning "Continuing the game in offline mode. To connect..." would not display when a communication error (due to signing out from Steam, or from being disconnected) occurs when creating or joining a new online session while already in a session.

- Fixed a bug where your Palico would fail to restore you after running over to hit you to recover from paralysis or sleep (as a result of using the "signal" command as it runs over, causing an error in its movement destination).

- Fixed a bug where the effects of Demondrug, Mega Demondrug, Armorskin, and Mega Armorskin that were applied to a Palico via the skill "Wide-Range" would expire for the Palico when they fainted in combat, but the expiration of these effects would not be properly synced between the players during multiplayer.

- Fixed a bug where a monster hit with the Dragonator by a guest player in a Special Arena quest would not properly flinch from the attack, if the host player is far from the monster and accessing the supply box or otherwise waiting in camp.

- Fixed bugs that occur when (a) you are targeting a large monster with the target camera and its icon on the lower left part of the screen is grayed out, (b) the icon of the monster you are targeting is the furthest icon on the left, and (c) any of the following conditions mentioned are met.
1. Fixed a bug where, when using the focus camera, the target would switch away from the large monster when a small monster's icon was added to the leftmost end of the target list.
2. Fixed a bug where, when using the target camera, the target would switch away from the large monster when a small monster disappears from the target list.

- Fixed a bug where the health gauge wouldn't properly change color after being inflicted with the poison or bleeding status after finishing a monster mount.

- Fixed a bug where the order of items in the item bar would change unintentionally when you change your equipment loadout and your items are lined up in certain ways.

- Fixed a bug where the order of items in the item bar would change unintentionally when you register an item loadout when you have supply items. When saving an item loadout, the order of items registered will ignore supply item data, and supply items obtained again afterwards may be in a different order, but this is not a bug.

- Fixed a bug where female characters' hair would not move properly after equipping the head armor "Shadow Shades" or the layered head armor for 'Bushi Kabuto "Sabi"' and 'Bushi Kabuto "Homare"'.

- Fixed a bug where the "x" objective marker would not be properly displayed when Diablos moved areas at the Wildspire Waste.

- Fixed a bug where Palicoes would behave unnaturally when playing the Left Quite the Impression quest in multiplayer.

- Fixed a bug for the First Wyverian Ritual of the Melding Pot where the number of materials used would automatically decrease or it would not be possible to manually reduce the number of items under certain circumstances.

- Fixed a bug that allowed players to use SOS flares from the shortcuts with unintended timing when using keyboard controls and having One Key Keyboard Shortcuts turned on.

- Fixed a bug where graphics around the neck would be missing when a female character equipped the Vangis Mail β.

- Fixed a bug where the back of the Rathalos Helm would be spinning when starting the Rolling Thunder event scene as a female character with the Rathalos Helm equipped.

- Fixed a bug where the sound effect for confirming a selection would be played when clicking the currently selected tab again while multiple tabs are open.

- Fixed a bug where Shamos Tailraiders would behave unnaturally during the "Troubled Troupers" quest.

- Fixed a bug where the focus would shift to the top item when sorting the crafting list.

- Fixed a bug where Palicoes would face backwards when the player fast travelled to Northeast Camp (15) in Wildspire Waste and immediately entered the tent.

- Other minor bug fixes.

On Thursday, November 22 at 00:00 a.m. UTC, we released Title Update 4,
which includes some bug fixes.

Major New Content:
- Added Lunastra, a rare female Elder Dragon that litters the air with hot blue dust.
There are reports of her traveling with her mate, Teostra.
Her materials can be used to create new weapons, a unique armor set, and Palico armor.
After completing the game (at HR 16 or higher), talk to the Huntsman in Astera to start the event.

- Added a new specialized tool: the Temporal Mantle.
This garment nullifies damage from powerful attacks by automatically evading.

Major Additions and Changes:
- Added "DOF (Depth of Field)" to the Advanced Graphics Settings.
This feature allows you to enable/disable the functionality to adjust focus by changing the camera distance during scenes where you control your character (outside of cutscenes).

- Added "Vignette Effects" to the Advanced Graphics Settings.
This feature allows you to enable/disable shading of screen edges by adjusting the brightness between the center and peripheral areas during scenes where you control your character
(outside of cutscenes).

- Added a preset function to the Keyboard Settings, allowing you to save changes you made to the key configuration. Any presets you store to your save data will be accessible to all of your characters. There are three categories: "Menu Controls Preset", "Melee Weapon Preset", and
"Ranged Weapon Preset", each of which can hold up to 16 presets.

- Added a "Default 2" option for 5-button mouse controls on top of the regular "Default"
Keyboard Settings.

- Changed the error messages that are displayed in the following circumstances:
・When the session is full: "Failed to join the session because it is full."
・When the session you tried to join no longer exists: "Failed to join the session
  because it has been deleted."

- After re-evaluating the quest completion rewards for the Tempered Deviljho quest "Relish the Moment," we changed the "Fucium Ore" item drop to "Warped Feystone."

- Changed the design of the Kulve Taroth quest so that, once you've received the rewards for the quest, you will not be able to post or join the quest for that particular Kulve Taroth again.
If you cannot post or join a Kulve Taroth quest, you must either wait until the other players in the session have repelled the Kulve Taroth, or move to a different session.
Then you will be able to post or join quests for a new Kulve Taroth.

- The order of melding ingredients at the Elder Melder has been resorted according to the same sorting method used for items. In previous updates, new items were added to the end of the ingredient list, but now new additions will now follow this new sorting method.
No items have been removed from the current ingredient list.

We are very sorry for the trouble caused by the connection errors experienced by players.

We have released a patch to address the issue some players are experiencing,
in which an error code (such as 50382-MW1) will appear and connection is lost.
The patch implements the following changes:

- Adjustment to ease the creation of P2P sessions
Adjustments have been made to make it easier to establish a P2P session with players who are waiting in the Gathering Hub when you enter the Gathering Hub yourself.

- Reversion of some networking protocols to previous methods
In order to diagnose the cause of the current issues, some networking protocols have been rolled back to function the way they did prior to Title Update 3.

- The duration for which the quest "Banquet in the Earthen Hall"
 is available has been extended

Many players have been unable to enjoy Kulve Taroth's siege quest, "Banquet in the Earthen Hall" as a result of these issues.
In response, we are extending its availability by an additional week, until 11:59 p.m. UTC on Thursday, Nov 22.

- Things to check in the event that issues persist after updating
Please check the troubleshooting link below, and ensure that all necessary ports have been opened.

- Request for information following update
In order to better understand the causes of the connection errors which players are experiencing,
we request that players continue to share their error logs with us.
The procedure for compiling error logs will be outlined in a separate post.
We are very grateful for your cooperation as we strive to make improvements.

We have recently received a large number of reports regarding error codes that result in players getting disconnected (50382-MW1, etc.)

We are looking into the problem and fixing any affected areas.
Please hold on while the issue is being addressed.

We are also considering extending the period of the Kulve Taroth Siege quest
"Banquet in the Earthen Hall" and possibly making it available again at a later date.
We will bring you an update as soon as the details have been decided.

We deeply apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

Bug Fixes:
  • Fixed a bug preventing 43 titles that were available in the console versions from unlocking in the Steam version.

  • Fixed a bug that prevented certain textures from being loaded optimally during character creation and cutscenes.

  • Fixed a bug where stars wouldn't be shown at night.

  • Fixed a bug causing error code 83-MW1 to occur. A message will now only be displayed when the connection to Steam is actually cut off.

  • Fixed a bug causing hair to clip into the character's mouth when equipping Brigade Lobos, Brigade Lobos α, or Brigade Lobos β on certain hairstyles.

  • Fixed a bug where the "Cannot take rewards because your item box is full" message would be displayed even if the item box was not full when using the "Take All" function at The Botanical Research Center.

  • Fixed a bug at the Elder Melder where, when changing the number of materials and then cancelling using mouse controls, the number of items would not return to the previous value and remain the same as before cancelling.

  • When using keyboard settings, assigning any key other than the default key to Browse Items Left and Browse Items Right for ranged weapons would result in items not scrolling when the key was held down. This has been fixed.

  • Fixed a bug allowing some actions to be performed that would otherwise not be possible by simultaneously pressing a function key and a number key for the custom radial menu when using keyboard settings.

  • Fixed a bug where text overlap would occur when using items with long names on the custom radial menu when using keyboard settings.

  • Fixed a bug where the game would get stuck on the "Creating a new Online Session" message when trying to create a new Online Session.

  • Fixed a bug where players who joined an Online Session after you would not have their primary group names and icons shown on the player list.
