• McLaren Container
  • A special container will spawn in each starting point of Erangel, Miramar, Taego, Sanhok, Vikendi, and Deston. These special containers will open up to reveal a vehicle with a McLaren skin equipped.
  • Players who own a McLaren vehicle skin can interact with these containers.
  • Only the player who opens the container and/or their teammates can ride and drive the McLaren vehicle.
  • Players may interact with these containers until they board the plane.
  • Containers and the McLaren vehicle will be removed once a match starts.
  • The McLaren containers will be available to use for three months.

The friendly, jolly food truck is here at the Battlegrounds – but without its food supply. If a food truck pulls up in front of you, don’t expect any yummy goods – it means enemies are here to barrage unexpected bullets through the van’s open windows!

Go from dawn to early morning, late afternoon to sunset, or from a clear day to a stormy one with the new time-of-day weather feature, only at Deston! For a more realistic time and mood, we’re now providing simple progression from one lighting/weather state to another over the course of a single match.

Remember our dev letter on the upcoming Animation Refresh? The update is finally here – our goal with this update is to enhance player experience by improving and refining PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS’ animation presentation while retaining existing timing and strategy.

The motions should feel different but familiar, and a lot of care and effort went into making sure no timings were changed in this process.
Weapon operation

• All weapon operation motions (both FPP and TPP) have been refreshed with tactically accurate motions.
• A special focus on pacing and weight adds intensity and believability to an already immersive experience.

TPP Locomotion

• Player move sets have been refreshed with the addition of starting and stopping motions.
• This expanded player motion adds a realistic flavor to our characters, helping ground them in the world.

A new stock, Heavy Stock, is here with a heavier feel to provide a larger pool of weapon/attachment options and strategies.

The Heavy Stock with its relatively less recoil but slower zooming may be the perfect choice if you’re one who prefers stability than fast-paced combat throughout a match.

With the BP Random Crates no longer purchasable at the PC Store, the Random Crates that were available as rewards for certain Tutorial missions have been modified to the following: 

• Reach Survival Mastery level 5: Raider Crate → Contraband Coupon x5
• Reach Survival Mastery level 15: Fall 2018 Crate → Contraband Coupon x10
• Visit the Career tab, Overview page: Biker Crate → 1000 BP
• Send a friend request to a friend you want to play PUBG with: Survivor Crate → 2000 BP

Players who complete the above Tutorial missions after this update will receive the modified rewards.

Players who have completed the above Tutorial missions before this update but have not received their rewards yet, can receive the modified rewards.

The Random Crates you already possess in your Inventory before this update will not change to the updated rewards.
Many players weren’t aware that the Spawn Tool existed because a specific key had to be pressed to display the feature. Thus, we have applied the following improvements for better convenience. 

• The Spawn Tool will now pop up automatically after you enter Training Mode.
• Players will also have the option to choose from the last weapon and inventory preset they set up in their previous Training Mode session, a Beryl M762 preset, or a SKS preset.
  • These options are not available for the 1v1 Arena.

As we regularly develop and release new features, we needed an additional, secondary interaction key apart from the F key (for PC) for simultaneous situations, such as when players interact with a specific feature for different purposes. Therefore, we’ve added a new Limited Interact keybinding that is to be used for many more upcoming feature interactions.

Before we introduce this update’s new weapon skins, we’d like to start out with a few words about our progressive weapon skin level system.

During the development of new progressive skins, we thoroughly think through how we should plan out progressive weapon skin levels. Questions and suggestions such as which skins would be the most appealing, which level would have players feel the greatest accomplishment, which rewards placed at which level would have players feel as if it’s worth the challenge, etc. are regularly brought together and eventually influence the final decision.

Therefore, you’ve all seen various level changes in previously released progressive weapon skins – we’ve of course been monitoring all your feedback and opinions on each update, and we will continue to keep those in mind when releasing even more various skins in the future.

The P90 is a fully automatic SMG preferred by players in various situations. Still, it was only available through supply crates and was sometimes considered impractical because it used 5.7mm ammo. The MP9, on the other hand, spawns on the map and uses more popular 9mm ammo. Although it has a slightly lower effective range, fire rate, and damage than the P90, it is an excellent alternative for players who enjoy the P90’s playstyle.

There are always fast-paced car chase scenes with loud sirens in action movies. With the introduction of the Pillar Security Car, you can also recreate scenes from these movies! So turn on the flashlight and the loud sirens, and quickly chase and catch the enemies running away from you! In addition, high-quality equipment can be found in the vehicle’s trunk, so if you see a Pillar Security Car nearby, hop in!

No need to strain your neck muscles to look around for enemies any longer! Allow the new Blue Chip Detector to automatically scan your area for you any time.

• Pick up a Blue Chip Detector and press the appropriate key to see the screen.
  • The screen updates every 5 seconds regardless of whether you are looking at the screen or not.
    • The Blue Chip Detector will make a beeping noise per screen update.
      • Only the holder can hear this noise.
  • Whenever the screen updates, it scans 100m in radius around you for enemies and displays the location of up to 12 of the closest enemies as dots.
    • The Blue Chip Detector will make an additional, different beeping noise if it detects at least one enemy after a screen update.
      • Only the holder can hear this noise.
    • The enemy dots will stay on the screen for 1 second.
    • If a detected enemy is significantly higher or lower than your position, the enemy dot will additionally feature a V-shaped icon indicating the height difference.
  • Enemies detected on the screen are not shown in real time.
    • The dots will stay in the same place on the screen even after the enemy moves.

• The Blue Chip Detector takes up your primary weapon slot.

• The central antagonist of Assassin’s Creed, Abstergo Industries, has infiltrated Haven.

Sanhok: Item Spawn Balance

• Adjusted item spawn rates and numbers to improve looting experience in Sanhok
  • Increased attachment spawns such as stocks and foregrips as very few of them are being spawned in Sanhok.
  • Increased certain DMR weapons and popular items as well (but not too much)
• Total number of spawned items has been increased by 10%.
• To reduce vulnerable deaths in popular spots such as Bootcamp, Camp Alpha, Camp Bravo, Camp Charlie, Quarry, etc. the anticipated # of items spawned within a single spawn spot has been increased by 30% (only in these military areas).

  • AR: M16A4 spawn rate decreased by approx. 80% and the rest of ARs to appear a bit more often

• Normal Match and Ranked Match lobbies have merged into a single lobby for consistency in customization.
• The Customize – Lobby feature is only available to Plus Status users. Upgrade your account to Plus Status and unlock many more features like this!

• Several modifications have been made to the poses each party member strikes when they press Ready.

With the new update, you can interact with players using emotes that are outside of your squad. How about developing a relationship with someone new?

• Watch Team Emote
  • You can now Watch another team’s player using a Team Emote. 
  • Watch Team Emote is a feature that only applies to the infinite loop Team Emotes. It allows you to participate indirectly with other team players performing emotes. When watching, you can hear the emote’s music and show simple movements as if you are watching.
  • To watch other team players, focus on a different team’s player and press the Interaction key.
  • Up to 10 players may Watch a single player’s emote.
• Emote With Your Squad Mates

The largest multinational corporation entity - Abstergo Industries - of Assassin's Creed has established a temporary facility in Haven of PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS: so we want you, an Assassin of the Assassin Brotherhood, to find out what they're up to this time and prevent Abstergo's influence from spreading even further.

During the #19.1 update, it'll be your job to land on Haven, break into Abstergo Industries, and survive till the end through stealth exploration of the sector's silent depths. Several in-game Assassin costumes to help furtive actions are also available at the Store, so check them out before you head out.

On the plane to Haven, make sure to plan to land between Steel Mill and Residential to infiltrate Abstergo Industries.



One of the values of the Assassin Brotherhood may be to "stay your blade from the flesh of an innocent," but be aware that a single innocent being does not exist on the Battlegrounds.

Neymar Jr. has finally landed in PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS! He’ll be playing PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS with and against our partners through live streaming sessions, and various events are in plan straight from the live studio! Also, all viewers from our Twitch Official Channel will get the chance to win prizes just by watching the live stream! So don’t miss out! Tchu Tchu Tcha!
Brazil national football team and Paris Saint-Germain F.C’s number 10, a.k.a Neyma”ru” in South Korea! Neymar Jr. and his squad, made up of our LATAM regional influencers and official partners, are coming to Deston!

During the event, Neymar’s squad will only be eligible to loot in the Lodge area of Deston. However, to give them a little compensation, we will allow the squad to select extra weapons that they desire.

All they have to do is let Neymar succeed in hitting particular targets with his ball in the studio before the match starts. If he does, the selected weapons will spawn in the Lodge area.

Other partners can only loot outside the Lodge area and are limited to using Melee weapons, Crossbows, or Pistols. On the other hand, Tactical Gear, boost, and heal items are free to use.

The Blue Zone will slowly tighten into the Lodge area. Can Neymar and his squad become king of the hill? There will be two rounds of the hill shooter battle. Watch to see who becomes king!

To give our official partners an extra handicap, Neymar will kick the ball again in the studio. He’ll get the chance to decide which weapons other partners will use if he hits the target!

First and foremost, you’ll need a KRAFTON account (if you don’t have one already). A KRAFTON account is a KRAFTON-exclusive account (as distinct from a PUBG account) where you can receive various news from KRAFTON games.

Go to PUBG.COM and press the Login button (upper right corner) to sign in/sign up right away!



After signing in to your KRAFTON account, you’ll need to link your game AND stream platform accounts to successfully participate in our Partner Drops. (Please be aware account-linking methods may vary per platform, so make sure to follow the provided instructions carefully!)



Now it’s time to complete various missions and earn those Drops! There are two ways to check out what missions are available:

• Read the monthly Drops announcements on PUBG.COM.
• Access your streaming platform (ex. Twitch) → select the PUBG category in the Browse menu → Watch streams that have the “Drops Enabled” label!

Once you choose your favorite PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS Partner’s streaming channel to watch, all you need to do is fulfill the requirements for the rewards! Once you satisfy the conditions, the Claim button automatically appears at the bottom. You can claim your rewards by clicking the button.




Go to the Customize menu to check out your Drops rewards. If you haven’t received them, please make sure all your accounts are properly linked and you have clicked the Claim button from the stream.

Here are some notes to keep in mind for Partner Drops:

※ You’ll be able to receive drops through our PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS Partners only.

※ Rewards are only obtainable during the Drops period.

※ To receive the rewards, you must have a KRAFTON ID and link it to your gaming platform AND Twitch/each region’s streaming platform.

※ Korea, China, and Thailand viewers will be receiving redeem codes instead of drops due to their different streaming platforms.

※ Items can be acquired after the Live Server Update on Console platforms.
