Hello PUBG fans!

Taego, our newest 8x8 map is launching soon, with new game mechanics and fresh collaborative content. In celebration of Taego's release, we're launching a Youtube Drops event to reward our players!

To participate, connect your accounts via the PUBG Global Account System and watch the Taego livestream on the official PUBG Youtube channel. You must watch the video for at least seven minutes to receive the event rewards.

Q. What is a PUBG Global Account?
A. The PUBG Global Account is a way to connect all of your game accounts to our various partner platforms out there.

Q. When can I expect my reward?
A. The reward will be delivered to your PUBG inventory within 24 hours after Update 12.2 is applied to the Live Servers, as long as you have linked your account and tuned into the Live Drops event on the Official YouTube channel. The update goes live on PC July 7 and Console July 15.

Q. It’s been 24 hours since Update 12.2 has been applied to the Live Servers, but I haven’t received my items. What’s the deal?
A. If you have not received your items within 24 hours after the live update, please reach out to our Player Support.

Q. Where can I watch Live Event videos - Ground Zero and Taego in order to make sure I get these items?

Update 12.1 - Now Live!

Update 12.1 has arrived on the Battlegrounds!

We’re excited for you to get your hands on our biggest Miramar update to date! Sweeping changes have been made map-wide, including improved textures and an overhaul to lighting. Major points of interest will still feel familiar but fresh, with adjustments to building interiors and reduced object clutter to enhance ease of movement throughout the map.

Put your marksman skills to work with the armor-piercing Lynx AMR sniper rifle and traverse the updated desert landscape of Miramar on the new Quad off-road vehicle.

We appreciate everyone who had time to play the changes on the test server and graciously offer feedback. Based directly on your feedback, we’ve reduced bloom in certain weather settings to improve visibility.


Please keep the feedback coming; we’ll continue to monitor your feedback closely.

The fourth iteration of the PUBG Continental Series is right around the corner! Get ready, as PCS4 commences June 10th; watch the best teams from across the globe compete to be crowned their region's best.

The competition will be fierce on and off the Battlegrounds, as we're back with the Pick'Em Challenge for PCS4. Use your PUBG Esports knowledge to predict winners and win prizes.

Pick’Em Challenge Details
Matches for the PCS4 Pick'Em Challenge begin on June 2nd with Pick'Em entries closing just before the last match of PCS4 on June 24th at 18:00 KST. Don't forget to participate in all the challenges before it's too late!

Event 1: Pick the Winner
The first event is very simple: predict who you believe will become the four regional champions of PCS4.

Vote for up to 7 teams per region, with correct predictions granting 100,000 EP per correct regional selection. Correctly guess the winner of all four regions to win a grand total of 400,000 EP!

Event 2: Team Face-off 
Free to enter, correctly guess the winner of two rival teams to earn EP. Each region has 4 team pairs to vote on, so do your research and predict which team will perform better; it's free, don't forget to participate for a chance to win free rewards!

EP payouts are based on total voting amounts, predicting an underdog win can net you a much bigger EP payout than simply selecting a winning favorite. EP payouts range from 800 to 7200 depending on the vote disparity between favorite and underdog.

FREE Voting Coupons and EP!
There are plenty of opportunities to earn free voting coupons and EP just by watching and interacting during the tournament! Up to 14 voting coupons can also be earned by purchasing PCS4 items.
  • During PCS4 this time around, a code will pop up right after the last match of the week is over! Be quick enough to enter the code in-game to get one free voting coupon!
  • Pay close attention during PCS4 live streams, as just like in previous PCS events, you’ll occasionally see codes on-screen during the broadcast that can be redeemed for EP.
  • Remember the Chicken Challenge from PGI.S? It's back!
    • Participate in the Chicken Challenge while watching PCS4 on official PUBG Esports Twitch channels and cast your vote to predict the match-winner!
    • The votes will close 11 minutes after the match starts and the 2nd circle appears. Make your pick wisely!
All four PUBG regions are participating and the more you watch, the better your odds of scoring unique skins. You can earn up to 50,000 EP by entering codes and participating in the Chicken Challenge.

PUBG LABS: Racing Mode

Hello Survivors!

Racing Mode will soon arrive in PUBG LABS! Experience a new way to play on the Battlegrounds as you battle your opponents and race across tracks on the newly updated Miramar.

Choose your vehicle, buckle up and race hard!
Race Preparation 

  • Select your vehicle at race start.
    • Available Vehicles: Motorcycle, Buggy, Coupe RB, Dirt Bike, Mirado.
    • Each vehicle comes equipped with a set of different weapons.
    • Use the F8 key (Console: D-Pad down) to toggle the vehicle selection UI and change vehicles.
      • Upon respawning, your selected vehicle will be spawned.
Race Start
  • Players are spawned in their vehicle as the race countdown begins.
  • You won't be able to move or attack other players until the race starts.
  • Once the match starts, destroy anything in your path!
    • At match start players are invincible for 10 seconds and 5 seconds after each respawn to prevent the frustration of being spawn killed.
Racetracks



  • Racing Mode takes place at one of the two tracks shown above.
  • Both tracks are 1-way, with a static start and finish line.
Checkpoints

  • Checkpoints serve as respawn points and you must drive through them to progress in the race.
  • Going off-track for too long engages an out of bounds timer and when the countdown hits zero, you will be respawned near the latest checkpoint you've passed.
Boost Crates

  • Drive through red crates to collect boosts.
    • Boost crates respawn a short time after being collected.
  • Boosts can be engaged with the shift key.
    • Using a boost brings you to FULL-SPEED. Send it!
    • When killed, you will respawn with your boost gauge set to max.
  • Motorcycles and Dirt Bikes are unable to use boosts.
    • This is for balance gameplay balance reasons.
Ammo Crates

  • Drive through blue crates to collect ammo.
    • Crates provide a small amount of ammo for your equipped weapon.
    • Ammo crates respawn a short time after being collected.
Race Completion

  • The first player that crosses the finish line grabs the checkered flag and wins the race for their squad!
  • 60 seconds after the winner crosses the finish line, the match will end.

LABS: Racing Mode will take place over two weeks, with Squads up first, followed by Solo matches.

Hello PUBG Esports fans!

Global PUBG Esports competition where the region's finest rumble for the throne, the PUBG CONTINENTAL SERIES 4 (PCS4) is just around the corner!

The PCS4 tour will be held across four regions, starting from June 10 to 27, including:
  • Asia – China, Chinese Taipei, Japan, and Korea
  • Asia Pacific (APAC) – Indonesia, Malaysia, Oceania, Philippines, Singapore,  Thailand, and Vietnam
  • Europe - Europe West, Europe East, Middle East & Africa
  • Americas - North America, Latin America
While the total combined prize pool for these regional tournaments is $1,000,000, each tournament will have a prize pool of $250,000. Plus, 30% of PUBG net sales of PCS4 sales items profits will be applied to the additional prize pool.

The PCS4 prize pool consists of:
  • $250,000 prize pool for each region.
  • 30% of PUBG net sales of PCS4 item sales go directly to the participating teams.

Update 12.1 - Patch Notes

Season 12 has landed on the Battlegrounds!

Drop-in and explore our biggest Miramar update since launch; with significant visual and design improvements, a new uniquely Miramar vehicle, and an armor-destroying sniper rifle, what’s not to love?

Miramar World Update
Miramar holds a special place in our hearts; launched alongside PUBG 1.0 in December 2017 we're thrilled to show you the improvements made for Season 12.

Throughout the map, we've focused on improving the overall visual quality (lighting especially) while also keeping a close eye on improving player interactions with the environment to improve your gameplay experience.

Expect an overall smoother experience, with reduced object clutter, less troublesome coastlines, adjusted cover across the map, and more.

While points of interest will still feel very familiar, we've introduced key changes to improve core gameplay and keep things feeling fresh. Keep an eye out and let us know what you think!

The following items have been added to the Miramar loot table:

  • Terrain Updates
We have improved the visual fidelity of textures and materials across the map. Additional cliffs have been added for steep slopes, which clearly indicate areas that cannot be climbed easily.


  • Cliff Updates
Cliffs have been improved across the map and now look much better overall.


  • Foliage Updates
Trees, plants, and other foliage have received vast visual improvements.


  • Lighting Updates
One goal of these lighting changes is to push a warmer, drier, and arid feel to help separate the feel and color palette from other maps. Looking at the map, we plotted the sun's arch and tweaked the lighting setups to represent different times of day better. We aimed to create a softer image with less contrast to help with eye strain while still ensuring longer distance engagements.

In the existing weather types: Sunny, Sunset, Sunrise, and Cloudy, the intensity and color have been adjusted. Sandstorm and Dusk will be introduced in Challenger Mode. Finally, improvements were made to the bunker and interior lighting.




  • Building and Object Updates
Many buildings and objects across the map have received visual improvements.


  • Map Flow
Reduced clutter across the map to improve ease of movement, especially around building entrances.

BATTLESTAT Exchange Kit
Introducing the BATTLESTAT Exchange Kit! Swap kill counter progress from one BATTLESTAT skin to another.
  • Transfer the current kill count from one BATTLESTAT skin to another BATTLESTAT skin.
  • Only available to use with two BATTLESTAT skins which are the same weapon, tier, and counter-type.
  • This item is consumed upon use.
  • Unable to be used with Progressive Skins.
New Weapon - Lynx AMR



The Lynx AMR is PUBG's first Anti-Materiel Rifle, a semi-automatic crate gun capable of damaging military equipment and armor, in addition to players and vehicles.

Intended as a hard counter to vehicles, the Lynx is also effective in any situations you'd find yourself wanting to scope in and shoot down an enemy.
  • PUBG's first .50 caliber weapon
  • The Lynx AMR is first and foremost the best anti-vehicle sniper rifle in the game, capable of destroying BRDMs and even penetrating the windows to kill its occupants.
    • Capable of destroying weak vehicles like motorcycles in a single shot and most regular vehicles in two or three shots.
  • Players have five shots only, with no way to reload.
  • Spawns in Care Package only on Miramar in Normal Matches. In a future update, the Lynx will be added to Custom Matches and Training Mode

The Quad is an off-road vehicle with four low-pressure tires and a driver seat designed to be straddled by the operator, with handlebars for steering control, with room on the back for a teammate. Modeled after a racing-style ATV, get ready to explore the Battlegrounds on this all-terrain monster we call the Quad.

The new ranked season is upon us!

All players eligible for Season 11 ranked rewards will receive them upon launching the game. Rewards are granted based on your end-of-season rank.

  • Ranked rewards for Season 12 are below:
  • PUBG ID emblems are rewarded for each tier, with animated variants for Platinum and higher. More details here.
  • The Parachute Skin is a permanent reward that players keep forever and can equip as they please.
  • The rest of the earnable rewards are 'Unlocked' only for the duration of a single Ranked Season.
  • Only the unlocked rewards from a player's highest rank will be granted.
  • Unlocked Rewards can be found in the inventory at the start of the new season.
Weapon Skin Upgrade System



Introducing the Weapon Skin Upgrade System. Level-up your weapon skins and add new features and styles to your weapon; keep an eye out for Contraband Crates in store (purchasable with G-Coin). Materials used to upgrade skins can be purchased or found with a low probability via certain crates purchasable with BP and through community events.

Contraband CrateCrates can be purchased 200 G-Coin each or bought as a pack of 10 for 1,800 G-Coin.
  • Unboxing gives a chance to acquire the following weapon skins or materials:
    • Upgradable weapon skins
    • Ordinary weapon skin, special grade or above (Special, Rare, Elite, Epic)

  • 10 Contraband Coupons are required to open a crate.

Lobby Ball



Teammates no longer appreciate your jump punches to the face during pre-match lobbies anymore? We've added some soccer balls as another way to keep you entertained while you prepare to drop in-game. Shoot, dribble and pass, but just don't kick them into the water..
  • 2 soccer balls spawn in each player-occupied starting area.
  • The soccer balls vanish once the game begins.

  • Added Context Menu (right-click) when customizing your character to facilitate additional options
  • Added skin tier information to the Store preview

Bot Improvements



Since the introduction of bots, we've made numerous improvements to their behavior, including adding additional interactions with grenades and cover. With this update, bots will now jump from the plane similarly to other players and we've also made additional improvements to the underlying bot AI.
  • These changes apply to all situations where bots spawn:

    • Maps where upgraded bots can be found: Erangel, Miramar, Sanhok, Vikendi
    • POV: TPP/FPP
    • Modes: Solo/Duo/Squad

In the Hall of Fame building on Erangel, the PGI.S winners are now being showcased. Relive the excitement from PGI.S in-game.
  • The winning team's jersey and logo have been added.
  • Names of the winning players are displayed on the Hall of Fame board.
  • Photos of the tournament-winning moment have been put on show.
  • The PGI.S 2021 trophy is also displayed in all its glory.

Custom Matches


Racing Mode will soon be live in PUBG LABS for a limited time and lead PUBG Partners available to create Racing Mode games in Custom Matches right now. For full details, read the PUBG LABS: Racing Mode announcement.

Emergency Pickup Improvements

Thank you for the tremendous amount of feedback since we first introduction of the Emergency Pickup feature. And, with your feedback in mind, we're the following changes:
  • Emergency pickup airplanes will appear less frequently.
  • There is now a 90-second cooldown between airplanes.
  • A countdown timer appears on the emergency pickup icon if an airplane isn't currently available. Using an Emergency Pickup while the airplanes are on cooldown will cause the kit to be wasted.
  • Improved the sound rope sounds when attached players are moving.
  • Changed the model of the airplane.
Reputation System Changes

We have made additional changes to the reputation system to prevent a decrease in reputation points due to player reports.
  • Temporary bans related to potential cheating won't impact reputation. Players found to be cheating will still be permanently banned.
  • Reputation will still decrease from other types of bans.
  • Breaking the PUBG Rules of Conduct can result in a ban and a subsequent decrease in reputation. We've updated in-game wording accordingly.
Social
  • A view profile button has been added when receiving a team invite
    • You can now see a person's profile before accepting their invitation
  • When receiving multiple team invites, the invite number is displayed in the upper right corner of the window.
    • By default, the most recent team invite is displayed first.
    • When a new team invite is received while viewing the profile via the team invitation message:
      • Team invitation messages from players in the profile you are currently viewing will be pinned to the front, and new team invitations will be placed behind them.
      • You can check that there is an invitation by seeing the number displayed at the top right of the message.
Performance Improvements
  • Improved server performance through server replication cost optimization related to character spawning
  • Enabled "Do not use display scaling in high DPI settings" equivalent setting without requiring it be set manually
  • Optimized processing of physics data through parallelization to improve CPU efficiency and reduce instances of frame drops and hitching
