PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS - Hawkinz

As PUBG grows and develops as a game, it’s important that we also take a look at the older systems that our fans interact with. One such system that we’ve been looking at for a while now is the current crate system. Since PUBG’s early days, crates have been distributed directly or randomly through the BP system, with some then requiring a key purchase to open.

Today we’re going to talk about some changes we’re making to the crate system and how this content will be delivered going forward. First of all, let’s go over the changes.

Upcoming Crate System Changes

  • Random Crates purchased with BP will no longer contain crates that require a key to open.
    • Locked Crates from Random purchases will no longer be available starting Dec. 18th.
  • Crates already in your inventory or acquired via the marketplace can still be opened with the appropriate key, which can still be purchased from the store and can still be purchased or sold on the marketplace.
  • The new Crate will retain the trade value of the highest tier item; the probability for each tier has been adjusted overall to increase the likelihood of acquiring a weapon of an attractive design.

Why change the system?
Through player feedback, we’ve found that more often players do not get enjoyment out of opening crates as they currently exist. We looked at the following information:

The value of marketable loot box in PUBG is solely determined by the users and getting items through the marketplace or selling them back is also part of the PUBG experience. However, the value of the locked crates are very low among other PUBG items. This means that paid crates are not an appealing reward to players, making the experience of acquiring a locked crate less enjoyable.

Patches have been carried out to continuously lower the probability of obtaining locked crates when purchasing a random one and items with special features have been added to locked crates to give them additional value for those who wish to purchase them, but we’ve learned that this issue cannot be completely resolved in this manner. Because of this, we’ve decided to discontinue the release of new locked crates and phase out the distribution of existing locked crates as well.

We have been thinking about this carefully and we want to ensure that we steer clear of revenue models that fail to satisfy fans, especially if they include a low success rate. We will continue to tweak our business model where possible to offer more compelling value for the money you choose to spend with us.

Details of the changes for new BP Crates
  • More preferred skins now appear in lower tiers and AR category skins are evenly distributed from top to bottom tiers.
  • The overall graphic quality of crate skins have been enhanced to ensure that the quality is adequate when compared to the paid weapons.
  • The quality of the items in the middle tiers of crates was improved and the likelihood of obtaining them was increased by about 20%.
  • The probability of obtaining the top tier items was increased as well but they will still remain difficult to obtain in order to not impact the market value of the skins or crates.

Schedule
11/20
  • A new crate, the VENETIAN CRATE, will be released and will be directly purchasable with BP. It and all future crates will be unlocked.
11/27
  • The direct sale of VENETIAN CRATE will be discontinued, making it only available through random purchase.
  • The probability of obtaining locked crates through random purchase will be notably decreased.
12/18
  • Locked crates will no longer drop from random crate purchases. They can still be purchased via the marketplace.
  • Keys may still be purchased, but only if you have a locked crate in your inventory.

Considerations
The Steam marketplace is a component that many PUBG players enjoy, and we are certainly not trying to get rid of it with these changes. New items from future crates will continue to be able to be sold on the marketplace, and no locked crates means one less step a player interested in those items will have to go through.

What’s in the VENETIAN CRATE

We know players have been asking for changes to the crate system for quite some time and hope that these changes prove our commitment to keeping purchases in PUBG a fun and rewarding experience. Whether you play without additional spend, purchase the seasonal Survivor Passes, pick up cool skins on the Store, or open and sell crates on the Marketplace, we want your interaction with PUBG to be worth your time and money. As always, please let us know if you have any feedback on this new system and we’ll see you on the Battlegrounds!

PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS - Hawkinz

Additional changes are marked with * and were implemented mid-update on November 26. View the changes here.

Update 5.2 of the Battlegrounds is here and we’re introducing a new way for you to contribute to the evolution of the Battlegrounds. PUBG Labs is debuting as a new destination for where you can try our latest game modes and help us refine them into greatness.

Also in this update to Season 5, the high speed hijinks continue, but we’re giving players something that’ll cause the competition to see the red of their brake lights with the Spike Trap. Vikendi received a face lift to bring the sniper strategies that are most effective on the map into focus.

There’s a lot to cover this update, so let’s grab some loot, throw our car into gear, and try not to blow a tire as we take a tour of update 5.2.

New Item: Spike Trap

"We almost named it Buffy."
  • Spike Traps puncture the tires of any vehicle that runs over the strip of spikes.
    • A Spike Trap can only damage one vehicle before it disappears.
    • Spike Traps puncture the tires of vehicles, but do not damage overall vehicle health.
  • Spike Traps are spawned at rates consistent with other throwables across all maps.
  • You can lay a Spike Trap by selecting it and pressing LMB. Once you've laid a Spike Trap, you cannot pick it back up.
New System: PUBG Labs

"Ground Control to Major Fans!"

PUBG Labs is a space where we will work with the community and players to experiment with new game modes, rule sets, features and so much more. Your feedback on the systems and tests we carry out on in PUBG Labs will directly benefit the community and grow our perspective on player priorities.

We can't wait for you to get in there and try the top secret action we've been working on.

What is PUBG Labs?
  • PUBG Labs is a space where we introduce to you experimental in-game features and collect your feedback to perfect them as permanent game additions.
  • You can find PUBG Labs in the menu under the Play button.
  • PUBG Labs will continue to be updated with new content. Play modes, new rule sets and maybe even some new vistas to take in down the road.
  • The most important for PUBG Labs is your valuable opinions! Please feel free to let our Community Managers know about what you think from your experience.
The upcoming experimental content of PUBG Labs
  • Skill Based Rating (PC - Live server: Nov 26 12pm PST / Nov 26 9pm CET / Nov 27 5am KST - Jan 2 12pm PST / Jan 2 9pm CET / Jan 3 5am KST / Console - Live server:  Nov 26 - Jan 6 KST)
    • Skill Based Rating is an experimental feature being tested through PUBG Labs, tracking your skill and assigning you a rating based on your match performances.
    • This Skill Based Rating is separate from the current Survival Title System.
    • Ratings will be applied for each mode based on players’ skill level. To see your rating, you must first play 5 matches.
      • After you finish 5 rating-evaluation matches, your rating going forward will be adjusted based on factors such as kills and overall placement in matches.
    • You can leave feedback about the changes to your rating after the end of each match, so we can gauge how the system feels.
    • For one week after the Skill Based Rating test ends, all players who participated can share their feedback via an in-game survey.
      • Feedback period
        • PC: 1/3 5am - 1/10 5am KST
        • Console: 1/7 - 1/14 KST
You can check Skill Based Rating feature on the Test Server now, before it comes to live servers next week.

For more information of PUBG Labs and upcoming tests, please check "Dev Letter - PUBG Labs".

All feedback is invaluable to us. We will review player feedback and analyze data, adjusting the system accordingly in order to make Skill Based Ratings the best they can be.

(UPDATE 12/06) - Based on data and feedback we’ve gathered for the Skill Based Rating Labs test, we have decided to increase the maximum possible rating points earned per match. Points awarded for placement have also been increased and spread out more evenly across all placements in the top 50%. These changes are effective immediately. This should help players get the full value out of their exceptional performances and make their chicken dinners taste extra spicy.

Vikendi Update

"Breathe. Snipe. Repeat."

We love a good Sniper's Duel. With that in mind we've done a clean up of Vikendi to make it more appealing to the Long Gun Hunters in our midst. More vehicles will be appearing on the map to help you lead foot it through the winter wastes, but be on the lookout for Spike Traps in those snow covered hills or the landslide will bring you down.

Improved terrain
  • New roads have been added to reduce the difficulty of moving through certain snow-covered areas of Vikendi.
  • Along with the roads added, the amount of vehicles across the map have increased and locations adjusted.
  • A cold front has moved in and the river around Castle has frozen over to allow you to navigate that area more easily.
  • Located at the center of Vikendi, Mount Kreznic consists of various terrain types which are difficult to navigate, due to how steep the mountain is. To improve this, the overall height of the mountain has been lowered. Yes, we shrunk the mountain, but just a bit.
  • Vikendi terrain in many areas is very flat, making it difficult for players to hide or take cover when encountering enemies. To improve this, we've added more variance to terrain height  in areas across the map.

Improved towns in Vikendi
  • A few of Vikendi's towns were seldom visited due to complex structures or not enough loot. We've made some adjustments to the following areas:
    • Volnova has been reshaped in general. Major buildings and driving routes have been modified.
    • Item spawn counts in Peshkova have increased.
    • Garages where vehicles are spawned in Trevno have been relocated to allow easier escape after looting. So get to stepping.
  • Some buildings have been removed or replaced with different buildings to improve gameplay. The field of vision gained from high buildings has been adjusted, through structural changes.

Improved gameplay balance
  • Blue Zone balance on Vikendi has been adjusted so that players can set up strategies using more varied routes.
    • The size of early safe zones has increased.
      • Speed of early Blue Zones has increased.
      • The size and speed of mid and late-game Blue Zones remain similar to previous updates.
    • The randomness of Blue Zone locations throughout the match has slightly increased.
  • To reflect player feedback on insufficient vehicle spawns on Vikendi, we've signifcantly increased the overall number of  vehicle spawns.
  • The location of vehicle spawns has been modified in accordance to the new Blue Zone balance.
Gameplay

"Connect the dots."

Added the Way Point feature
  • The Way Point feature has been added to allow you to make strategic plans for the routes you take.
  • You can use the feature only when the map is open (M key).
  • Press ALT+RMB to place the first point and while ALT is held, you may click other locations to add more points. You may release ALT to remove the starting point.
  • You can place up to 4 points per group of Way Points.
  • Press ALT+Del to remove placed Way Points. When you place a new starting point somewhere else, the existing Way Points will all disappear.
  • In Duo/Squad Mode, when a teammate places Way Points, they will appear on the map with a Radio Message. You can change the settings to not display the Way Point of certain teammates from the in-game Team Management menu.

Added an auto attachment feature
  • A new feature has been added that automatically equips your weapon with the attachments you pick up.
  • You can choose from 3 types of auto attachment options. You can activate/deactivate each of them from the 'Settings - Gameplay' tab.
    • Auto equip when you pick up an attachment with F key
      • When you pick up an attachment by pressing the interaction key (F), the attachment is automatically equipped to your weapon.
    • Auto attach when you switch to new weapon
      • When you switch your weapon with a new weapon on the ground, all the attachments equipped to the old weapon will automatically move to the new one.
      • Only attachments compatible with the new weapon will be attached and the rest will go into your inventory.
    • Auto equip when you pick up attachments with the inventory open
      • When you get an attachment while the inventory is open, the attachment will automatically be equipped to your weapon.
      • When you get an attachment for a slot that is already being used, the attachment will go into your inventory.

Adjusted swimming and diving balance
  • Swimming speed has increased by about 27%.
  • Diving speed has increased by about 20%.
  • Breath recovery speed has increased by about 10%. Now it takes 9 seconds for full recovery.
  • The maximum diving time has increased by about 33%. Now you can dive for about 20 seconds.

Improved weapon impact sounds
  • The sound effects for each type of object being shot have been improved.

Added Option to Rate Match Satisfaction
At the end of each match, you can now rate how satisfied you were with your gameplay experience in that match.
  • You can select from three different options: Fun, Average, and Bad.
  • This is another method we're using to better understand what experiences players like and dislike, as we work to improve the overall gameplay experience for all.
  • Please give us feedback in-game after each match using this system.

Custom MatchFollowing the Zombie Mode presets available to PUBG Partners, new permissions have been given for additional Custom match freedom.Added Round feature
  • War Mode / War Mode: Conquest are now available for round play, allowing for multiple match wins before game completion.

  • The ground re-spawn feature updated last patch is also available.

Added the Commander feature
  • In the previous version of Platoon Mode, players weren't able to properly receive orders from their platoon leader easily through UI.
  • With this update, the player in the first slot of each platoon in the lobby will be assigned the role of platoon leader, whose location and ping will be shared with all platoon members.
    • This will enable the entire platoon to recognize moving/attack/defensive targets, allowing players to experience more strategic platoon combat.
  • Commander is able to help allies and interfere with the enemy through the various support requests available in the map UI.
    • Air strike request
      • Commander can spawn a Red Zone at a selected location.

PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS - Hawkinz

Hi Everyone,

Throughout PUBG’s development, we’ve tried to find new ways to introduce test content to our players. Most of the time, that’s been through utilizing our Test Server for new updates and features. However, occasionally we’ve found a need to test things outside of the normal test environment and that’s where PUBG Labs comes in.

Labs will explore various experimental settings, features, and modes within the live client in a special new section of the outgame menu. From time to time, we’ll drop test content in the Labs menu for anyone to try out. Players will be able to continue to play the game as usual regardless of Labs participation.

Labs isn’t replacing the Test Server, which will still be utilized on a regular basis for normal content updates. Think of it as more of a place where we can experiment with new settings and features outside of the typical development cycle, some of which may be far down the road still, while giving you a way to chime in on what we’re doing before the design is finalized. There will be some growing pains for sure as we figure out the strengths and limits of such a system, but through this system we hope to bring the community and the development team closer together.

That said, let’s dive into one of our upcoming PUBG Labs project, and it’s a big one: Skill Based Ratings!

OK, got it. Labs is meant for testing stuff. Where does this skill-based rating system come into play?

Great question! While the Survival Title System is more passive in that it measures time invested rather than individual skill, this Lab focuses on factors that allow players to rank up AND down. It’s a way for those who want to put a little bit more on the line in order to prove themselves the option to do so.

We also acknowledge that the skill-based option isn't the best for all players at all times. Sometimes you want to goof around with friends or just not have to feel the pressure of performing and sweating out a victory. That’s why this system is ‘opt-in”. You will not be tracked or earn a rating unless you navigate to the Labs tab and click the opt-in button. Please note that if you do choose to opt-in to the test, your games will be tracked for the duration of the Skill Based Ratings experiment.

What happens when I opt in?

Once you opt in, your games will be tracked and you will be assigned an initial rating after five placement matches. For this Skill Based Rating experiment, we’re gathering data from all queues and all perspectives, but this won’t necessarily be the case for all future Labs.

After your five placement matches, you will be placed into one of six tiers: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond, or Master. Within each of those tiers are five divisions that you will also progress through, both up and down. If you’ve played ranked matches in other games, you should be familiar with the type of rating system we’re testing here. Each tier has a range of Rating Points (RP) associated with it, which gives you a more exact number to reflect your skills.

How do I rank up?

After playing your matches, we analyze a few things:

Your placement:

Based on your personal placement in the match you will either gain or lose RP. If you’re in a squad we will only analyze your personal position, and not the final position of your squad. We understand that it may seem harsh to not receive credit for your team’s final position, however since you don’t need to wait for your squad to finish the match, you are able to receive your own RP update immediately which was a common point of community feedback for previous systems in the game.

Your Kills:
Your total amount of kills on enemy players during the match.

Enemy Rating:

We analyze every player in your match. We compare your rating to your enemy’s rating, and adjust calculations accordingly.

RP Update:

Visiting the Labs section after a match will display your change in RP based on the last match played. Here, you'll see +/- RP, and have a chance to give us some feedback about whether or not the change “feels right”. A system like this is one of those cases that hard numbers just won’t be able to fully capture, so we want to know how the change feels in relation to the match you’ve just played. This feedback opportunity will be available after each match, so we encourage you to visit the Labs and vote after each match.

What happens at the end of the lab?

When this experiment is over, there will be a one week grace period where you’ll see your final ratings along with a request to answer a few questions about your experience which we’ll use to guide the design of future iterations of this rating system. Please note that your final rating in this lab will not carry over to any full-rating system we may eventually launch, but feel free to flex on your friends, the internet, and social media anyway.

What’s the bigger picture here?
There are many different ways to enjoy the game, and we know that a skill based rating system is something that much of the community has been asking about for a while now. We’re happy to be working towards that goal alongside you all as we make progress towards determining what such a rating system would look like for PUBG.

While you’ll be able to try both Labs and our Skill Based Rating experiment in an upcoming Test Server, we haven’t locked down a final live server date for the Skill Based Rating experiment. We’ll keep you updated on when you can officially expect this to land on Labs, but until then, we’re eager to bring you even more experimental content and help us shape the future of PUBG!

PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS - Hawkinz

The Elimination Group did not disappoint with a wild mix of play styles keeping everyone on their toes.

VC Gaming’s Iron Grip

VC Gaming came to slay with quick and fast kills from Match 1 through Match 6. By Match 4 they were already guaranteed a Semifinal spot, but they took the Chicken Dinner anyway because they could. Their approach was all aggression all day as they would make a mad dash for loot and then look for a fight. Tide was a standout spending most of the day in first place for kills. They ended up adding another Chicken Dinner in Match 4 on Sanhok and it seems like VC Gaming sent the message they wanted to send.

Semifinals Contenders

Called in at the last minute and making the most of the opportunity were The Rumblers. The Rumblers threw this group a few curve balls with CherryPoppin and Waldoe often going lonewolf style and spoiling firefights at key points in matches. As for QM Gaming, they had a consistent stream of kills due to stealthy tactics that kept them sitting pretty on the leaderboard. Team Liquid attempted to course correct today and pull themselves out of the hole they’d dug for themselves coming out of Group 2. The PEL giants managed to snag themselves a Chicken Dinner in a tough final circle against VC Gaming, however it wasn’t enough. The day ended with a big win for LPPS lovers as Red Canids took 15 points off of the final map of the day to vault into the Semifinals.

And Then There Were 24…

Those who made it out today more than earned their Semifinal spots. There is plenty of talent in this group of teams and any one of them is capable of taking this all the way to Oakland.

Match Winners
Match 1 (Erangel) - VC Gaming
Match 2 (Erangel) - Armory Gaming
Match 3 (Erangel) - Team Liquid
Match 4 (Sanhok) - VC Gaming

The PGC Semifinals (Group A vs Group B) will start November 15 at 5:00 p.m. PT at the OGN Super Arena in Manhattan Beach.

The draw for teams competing in the Semi-Final was held at 3pm on November 10, 2019 PST in the OGN Super Arena office. The results are as follows:

PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS - Valor

As predicted, Day 2 of the PGC Group Stage was full of surprises with Group 2. The day was defined by standout performances and brutal circles.

Two dinners of poultry were served up hot to TSM with rumblings that a Chicken Dinner World Tour (Scoring a Chicken Dinner on every map) could be in the cards. Team SoloMid held their lead with methodical, conservative tactics. Right behind them, armed with killer shots and healthy number of PGC Pick ‘Em votes was Four Angry Men who were downright merciless and it showed in their body count. Coming into the spotlight with two match wins was Sting Divine Esports from the PUBG Southeast Asia Championship. Their play style focused on split tactics for efficient looting that kept them VERY armed and dangerous.

Solo Artists

Today had no shortage of players making big plays single-handedly. First is Lazarus’ luke12 who was the last of his team in Matches 1 and 2. He spent his alone time wisely by scoring kill points that kept Lazarus in the running for the Semifinals. Also making himself known was DeTonator’s Wick2d who was not afraid to get his hands dirty and step into heated fights. Just check his stats in Match 3 where he lead the charge to take out the competition.

Those Crazy Circles

Circles are often categorized as friendly or evil. When it came to Matches 3 and 4, evil won the day. Match 3 on Erangel came with the dreaded southern circle putting all eyes on Sosnovka Military Base. There was lots of wild boat action as more than half the teams had to make their way to the island. Match 4 was on Sanhok, where the circles zoned in on the north region near Ha Tinh which is riddled with rivers.

Winners
  • Match 1 (Erangel) - TSM
  • Match 2 (Erangel) - Sting Divine Esports
  • Match 3 (Erangel) - ahq eSports Club
  • Match 4 (Sanhok) - TSM
  • Match 5 (Miramar) - Sting Divine Esports
  • Match 6 (Miramar) - Genesis

Tomorrow is NOT Just Another Day

This Elimination Group will be nothing short of madness. To start, you’ll notice a lack of Team Liquid fanfare because they have stunned everyone with a 16th place finish in Group 2. Their unexpected presence in the Elimination Group will have an interesting effect on the day’s gameplay. This is a PEL team that KNOWS how to win. The question is, will they be able to find their feet in time to hold off a bunch of other desperate teams looking to qualify for the Semifinals? Or will the other teams smell blood, decide now’s the time to take out a giant and finish Team Liquid for good?

Tune into the PGC Elimination Group tomorrow, November 10, at 5:00 p.m. PT at http://watch.pubgesports.com.

If you’re enjoying the PGC and want to be there for the Grand Finals in Oakland tickets are available and come with a set of PGC in-game items that’ll have you looking just like the pros in the tournament.
PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS - McClutch

The PGC is officially up and running at OGN Super Arena in Manhattan Beach! Today we witnessed the heavy hitters of Group 1 duke it out in their first step toward Global Championship glory!

Big Contenders

Group 1 featured a lot of established talent which produced a lot of measured and disciplined gameplay. The first Chicken Dinner of the day was served to OGN Entus Ace who maintained solid placing throughout the day. Faze Clan maintained an intimidating presence which included an impressive win in Match 2 using stellar map positioning. By Match 4 we saw Natus Vincere give us a preview of what could be to come for the Semifinals with solid team positioning that earned them the win.

On The Rise

VC Gaming game out of the gate swinging with a big push for kill points while Vendetta had a big day from eDGe who scored a sweet blow against Faze with a brilliantly tossed ‘nade. Ghost Gaming showed off strong map positioning instincts and intuitive team movement which earned them their fair share of points. Korea’s T1 also made some big plays today and even took the win for Match 3.

Honorable Mentions

Tempo Storm managed to deliver a win for North American fans in Match 5. They pulled themselves together under pressure. They’re hoping they can bring that kind of composure into the Semifinals.

Winners
Match 1 (Erangel)– OGN OGn Entus Ace
Match 2 (Erangel)– Faze Clan
Match 3 (Erangel)– SK Telecom T1
Match 4 (Sanhok) – Natus Vincere
Match 5 (Miramar) – Tempo Storm
Match 6 (Miramar) – Gen.G

Next Up, Group 2

Many of the usual suspects managed to secure their Semifinal spots today, however tomorrow could be a different story. Favorites like Team Liquid, Four Angry Men and Athletico will be taking to the Battlegrounds tomorrow to secure their place in the Semifinals. Keep an eye out for Genesis and their raw talent and Lazarus, on whom a lot of North American fans are pinning their hopes on.

The PGC continues tomorrow, November 9 at 5pm PT. Makes sure to watch with us at watch.pubgesports.com!

Pick’Em Challenge FAQ
1. Voting
Q. How do I get the team selection coupon?
A. When you purchase any one of the six PGC items (PGC 2019 Bundle, PGC 2019 Clothing Set, PGC 2019 Combat Set, PGC 2019 M416 Skin Crate, PGC 2019 Dacia Skin Crate and PGC 2019 Emote Crate), you will be given one team selection coupon.

Only 1 coupon is earned per purchase.

You can also win one team selection coupon free of charge by playing the game and meeting the criteria below.

Q. How do I get the team selection coupon for free?
A. Finish top 10 in any Public Match (regardless of map or mode) during the event period and earn one free team selection coupon. You can only earn one free team selection coupon for the duration of the event.

Q. Where do I vote?
A. You can vote in the Pick’Em Challenge tab under the PGC 2019 tab in the in-game lobby.

Q. How do I know if I have the team selection coupon?
A. When you select the Pick’Em Challenge under the PGC 2019 tab, the team selection coupon you currently have will be indicated in the lower-left corner.

Q. What happens if I get a refund for the purchased item after I vote?
A. If a player casts more votes than they have earned, their votes will be nullified and ineligible for rewards. This would only be the case if a PGC item was refunded after a vote has been cast using its coupons.

Q. What happens if I get a refund for the purchased item after I vote?
A. If a player refunds an item and then purchases a different item, their votes will remain eligible as long as they do not cast the additional vote from their new purchase, which would bring the total number of votes above their final purchased and earned amount.
  • For example, if you have two coupons in total, one earned from a top 10 victory and the other from buying a PGC item, and then refund that item, you will have only one eligible vote.
  • If you’d already cast both votes in this situation, the number of eligible entries (1 coupon) and the number of cast votes (2 votes) do not match, so no items will be rewarded, even if you win.
  • However, if you purchase one additional PGC item within the period to bring your number of eligible entries (2 coupons) back up to the number of votes you cast (2 votes), you will still earn the rewards if you win.
  • Casting a vote with the newly purchased PGC item coupon would however bring your account back out of sync with how many eligible entries you have, nullifying your eligibility for rewards once again. So if you do refund an item after you’ve used its coupon to cast a vote, make sure you do not use the coupon from the replacement item.
2. Rewards
Q. What skins do I get as a reward?
A. If you successfully predict the champion, you win all 5 PGC weapon skin sets (for AKM, SCAR-L, Mini14, Kar98k and Pan).

Q. When do I get the rewards?
A. The rewards will be provided consecutively within no more than 1 day from 11 a.m. of Dec. 4, 2019 (KST). If there is any problem receiving your rewards, please contact PUBG Support and submit a ticket by entering your in-game nickname and inquiry.

Q. Is the PGC 2019 Weapon Skin set (Rewards for successfully picking PGC champion) marketable in Steam Community Market?
A. PGC 2019 Weapon Skin set (event reward items) are not marketable in the Steam Community Market at any time.

3. Event
Q. Are purchased PGC 2019 items marketable in the Steam Community Market?
A. PGC 2019 Bundle, PGC 2019 Clothing Set, PGC 2019 Combat Set, PGC 2019 M416 Skin Crate, and PGC 2019 Dacia Skin Crate are marketable starting from December 17 6PM PST in the Steam Community Market. The PGC 2019 Emote will remain unmarketable.

Q. How long will I see the PGC 2019 tab in-game on PC?
A. The PGC 2019 tab in the in-game lobby will be shown until 11 am KST on December 11, 2019.

Q. Where can I see the information on which teams are competing at PGC 2019?
A. You can find information about the teams, their players, real-time standings, etc. from the PGC 2019 tab in the PC in-game lobby. For more detailed statistics, please visit PUBG STATS HUB.

Q. How will the proceeds from PGC 2019 item sales be distributed to the teams?
A. 25% of the proceeds from PGC 2019 items sales will be added to the total prize pool, and an additional 25% of the proceeds will be distributed to the participating teams according to their percentages of the Pick'Em Challenge votes as part of the team support fund.

Q. Will there be Pick’Em Challenge for both PC and console?
A. Pick’Em Challenge will be carried out only on PC, and a separate PGC event will be carried out for the console players, allowing them the chance to receive the same rewards. For more information on the console event, please click HERE.

PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS - Hawkinz
The next season of PUBG has arrived, and we’re throwing a lot at you, including a new weapon, map changes, and new strategies. The season begins with Update 5.1, which features improvements to Miramar, including updated loot, map objects, terrain, and a static scope on the map-themed Win94 repeater rifle.

Get a look at what’s in store in our Patch Report, here:

The highway to hell has an exit ramp to Miramar, so rev up that Mirado for the new “A La Muerte Vamos” racing course running through the region. There’s plenty of new attractions for players to utilize, including ramps, loops and some sick jumps to crank that automobile anarchy to the next level.

Players also now have a new way to assist their allies and take down their enemies with the addition of item and melee weapon throwing mechanics. Toss your squad mates that much needed energy drink or go for the longshot and take down that last survivor with an expertly calculated pan throw.

In addition to the gameplay updates, the Survivor Pass is back with new rewards, challenges, and improved mission systems! Survivor Pass: Badlands rewards players with outfits and weapon skins themed around the harsh desert and its former inhabitants. Additionally, players can dive into the history of Miramar for the first time as they unlock all four parts of the Season 5 story together as a community by collecting new items scattered throughout the different Battlegrounds.
