Though repair tenders (both Class IV Frigate and Class V Destroyer) are commonly used and quite popular, there has been work done on creating tenders that can support heavy repair bays.
POLARIS MOBILE REPAIR FACILITY (SOL IMPERIAL WORLDS)
As the Sol-Genari wars escalated with large scale conflicts between Cruisers and other capital ships, the need for a more comprehensive repair tender was needed. Rear Admiral West, the original proponent of the Klondike pushed high command for a tender that could support repair bays found on stations that worked exclusively on capital ships. Such a massive repair station would require a cruiser's superstructure to support, and even then it could not support a larger force field because of the mass requirements. The Rear Admiral found it to be invaluable however, as his fleet of Long Range Beam cruisers could fire at range, with these tenders stationed behind moons or asteroids, ready to take in any Capital ship for repairs in the field without being forced to leave the region.
FAT GENSHAI MOBILE REPAIR FACILITY (GENARI UNITED EMPIRE)
This oversized repair tender was purpose-built more as a defensive repair station that would occupy captured Sol regions after a successful Genari campaign. Very slow and unwieldy, it tends to move short distances in preparation of a Sol counterattack. Designed to repair capital ships, it also has 120 marines available to resupply ships with marine pods similar to the Destiny Troop Ships' role. Because of the size of the large repair bays and engines needed to propel a ship of this size, there was no space to give this ship proper weapons systems. As Fleet Commanders get used to this mobile repair facility, they've come to find it invaluable in important defensive operations.
NOTE: Capital Ship Commander skill required to operate these ships.
The Genari Battalion Defense frigate is by far the most resilient Class IV warship, but it is still considered less popular than the Firebolt, Predator and First Honor frigates. Improvements to the hull/armor have been made, bringing it up by 7-10%.
The Sol Leningrad Type 3 Missile Destroyer has been the pariah of the Leningrad series, considered to be underpowered in offensive, even with the low power cost of the missiles. So the SIWPW-3A plasma missiles have been replaced with the significantly more advanced SIWPW-7 plasma missiles. It improves on both range and damage.
To help new players learn how to use officer upgrades, and retain those improvements on their ships, all starter 'freeships' now keep their officer points on destruction.
All Oslo Class IV frigates now have an additional 10 hull. Halifax frigate has increased hull to 49 hull points.
Miscellaneous:
Leningrad Type III Missile Destroyer now has proper missile weapon damage boost. Nova Class IX Battleships now cost approx. an extra 40,000 XP to acquire.
A new server has begun after Sol Imperial Worlds defeated Saneth.

Because players tend to gravitate towards Light Cruisers instead of Destroyers for the Warship Tier, and towards Heavy Cruisers instead of Cruisers in the Capital Ship Tier, some boosts have been made to the Destroyer/Cruiser classes.
SOL Oslo Combat/Support Hybrid Class IV Frigate The Oslo shows its age considerably in the late 22nd century, as it was very unpopular with commanders fighting at the border, aiming for the far superior Gorshkov and Liverpool frigates. Rear Admiral Musashi decided to refit some of the underused Oslo ships with repair bays, so that they became sturdy support ships for the front line. Unfortunately two of the beams had to be removed for the repair bay, but they were upgraded to the most powerful LB-9 type lasers which could put out significant damage if fully charged. This rare variant of the Oslo is the only combat warship with repair support capabilities.
GENARI Predator Missile Ship Class IV Frigate On the surface, this seems to be the same Predator Frigate that the Talagh Matriarchy used as the mainstay of the their fleet. Some were modified however; with the beams removed and replaced with similarly-powered missiles. The power to damage ratio was improved, as well as the shield generator to the second generation variant. With slightly reduced armor, it is not considered superior to the original Predator, but is popular with many captains for its missile loadout.
Season 3 was completed in 101 days, 17 hours -- with Sol winning the server.
A fleet of Cruisers, Heavy Cruisers, and a Dreadnought, along with a substantial amount of repair tenders pushed their way forward into the Genari homeworlds; eventually toppling the massive Genari Starbase. At one point, there were 30+ ships on the map!
Also a reminder: Players who participated in the last server automatically are awarded free credits if they have achieved a significant rank, or had sufficient pvp kills, or captured significant territory for their side.
