The recently released Wintry Treasure 2022 unintentionally reused two already shipped sets. As a result, we're making a few fixes:
The Lifestealer Cold Rage set is now a second style on the Obsidian Atrocity set. That set can be received either from the Wintry Treasure 2022 or The Battle Pass Collection 2022, and both the red and blue styles are unlocked no matter where the set was received from.
The Night Stalker Harvest Night set has been replaced with the existing Frightful Revelries set from the Hallowed Chest of the Diretide. We've also created a new style that is unlocked on that set no matter where the set was received from.
The winter breeze may have stripped the trees of their leaves but a select group of heroes are bundled up more snugly than ever as the time comes for the seasonal Dota Plus update to appear, filled with a new seasonal treasure, plus refreshed Seasonal Quests and Rewards for you to explore during the grey days and gloomy nights ahead.
Dota Plus Seasonal Treasure
The Winter 2022 Seasonal Treasure is here, available for purchase with shards. Exclusive to Dota Plus members, this treasure features all new sets for Lifestealer, Storm Spirit, Vengeful Spirit, Spirit Breaker, Oracle, Night Stalker, Elder Titan, and Sven. There's also a chance to unlock Frosty the Seadragon, a courier preloaded with random ethereal and prismatic gems.
Updated Seasonal Quests & Guild Rewards
Today’s update also comes with a new set of Dota Plus quests to help lay away some extra shards for new relics and the Seasonal Treasure — offering up to 115,200 shards over the course of the season.
And as always, in addition to the changes above, the guild rewards for Silver-, Gold-, and Platinum-tier guilds have all been switched for the winter season.

Seasonal Sets
Missed your chance on some of the sets from older Dota Plus treasures? The sets from the Spring 2021 and Summer 2021 are now available for direct purchase in the Shard Shop for 15,000 Shards each.
The ballots have been tallied and the community's favor shines brightly on a wide array of special submissions, meaning the Diretide 2022 Collector's Cache is now available — loaded with the top 18 eligible item sets as voted on by the Dota 2 community.
Unboxing 14 of these treasures will automatically grant you 36 Battle Levels, and the odds of receiving a bonus rare item will increase with each one you open. You can also recycle any unwanted items for 2 Battle Levels.
The Diretide 2022 Collector's Cache is available for $2.49 and will remain on sale until December 18. All items in the Cache are untradeable and unmarketable, except for the ultra rare Tiny set.
We once again thank the community artists who tendered submissions for this year's treasure, as well as the entire Battle Pass community for casting votes in support of their favorite item sets. We look forward to seeing your top selections mixing it up in the lanes.
Razor reclaims the secrets of his true origins with the help of a void-touched power sent to shatter the mystic bonds between the lightning revenant and the hidden masters of the Narrow Maze — and unleash a rage that only retribution will set to rights. Electrify your battles with the Voidstorm Asylum Razor Arcana, featuring an all-new model with an unlockable second style, custom animations and effects, custom hero assets, 600+ new voice lines, and custom kill and deny effects. Voidstorm Asylum is available to all players who reach level 383 in the Battle Pass.
From now until Monday, November 14th, the final candidates for the Collector's Cache will be featured for preview in the Dota 2 client, where all players can see a lineup of the item sets for easy comparison. Battle Pass owners can give a thumbs up or down to each set under consideration, and sets with the highest scores will be included as the main items of the Cache.
We would like to thank all of the workshop artists who have submitted items, and we look forward to revealing the collection that best represents the community's interests.
The Aegis has been claimed, and the new champions bask in the glow of well-earned victory. But outside of that triumphant light, as the heroics and heartbreaks of The International fade into blissful memory, the Dota season grows dark and the lava fields turn to ice — meaning it's time now for Part II of the 2022 Battle Pass. Namely, it's time for Diretide! Roshan has awakened from his candy coma, spurred on by righteous thieving greevils, and now all Dota players are invited to join in on the Hallo-wintery fun.
Part II of the Battle Pass features the Candyworks, the new Diretide game mode, a second Cavern Crawl map, and the release of another round of rewards — like the Conduit of the Blueheart Crystal Maiden Persona, Immortal Treasure II, custom Versus screens, a Cave Johnson announcer pack, fresh taunts, and more.
Don't miss Sithil and Quirt's Candyworks & Treasure Emporium, where you can trade in candy you've gained from the Battle Pass, or any you gain from playing games and recycling treasures, to claim all manner of goodies — from items, couriers, and wards all the way up to Arcana — even a custom Roshan skin.
Queue up for Diretide: Season's Greevilings, where players harness Roshan's strength to destroy the enemy team's Taffy Wells. Recover Taffy from greevilous taffy thieves, score it at enemy Wells, and watch Roshan rip those buildings to pieces — all while riding a trusty mount of your choosing.
This update adds support for NVIDIA Reflex on GTX 900 series and above. Reflex decreases click-to-display latency, particularly in situations where performance is limited by the GPU.
On September 16, 2021 we announced our intent to remove support for OpenGL. This is the last major update for Dota that will support OpenGL. For the vast majority of players, nothing will change when OpenGL is removed, as they have already switched to a newer, higher-fidelity renderer. We encourage players to switch now if they haven't already, and let us know if problems arise.
The Road to the Aegis Congratulations to Tundra Esports, Grand Champions at The International 2022. They delivered a dominating performance — dropping only a single game during the entire Main Stage before taking the Grand Finals 3-0 to emerge victorious on the quest for the Aegis.
Tundra started their journey with an impressive 14-4 run through the Group Stage that earned no worse than series splits, and then simply took their play to another level at the Main Event. Their first foes in the Upper Bracket were OG. They shelved the two-time TI champion club in two games. This started a pattern for Tundra, broken only once. Their next foes were Team Aster, fresh from their own 2-0 victory. But the veterans of Tundra were not deterred. They won that series, as well, in only two games.
Tundra then prepared for the Upper Bracket Finals, where they would face Team Secret. The first game was a 67-minute slugfest. Secret pushed hard early in the game, but the tide turned as the game went on — and Tundra pushed back. Harder. Secret were forced to defend their base for the final twenty minutes before succumbing to an unrelenting onslaught. Game two was Tundra's only loss of the Finals, where they went down under the weight of Resolut1on's Dawnbreaker, but they bounced back in game three. Fifteen minutes in, Tundra scored a team wipe. Secret came back for more and, despite having key abilities on cooldown, Tundra again emerged victorious, securing a strong advantage in the midgame. Secret fell faster to the push this time, into the Lower Bracket Finals, and Tundra advanced to the Grand Finals riding the highs of a convincing win.
After Secret won a close 2-1 series to earn a rematch, the two squads faced off again — this time in the best-of-five Grand Finals with the Aegis of Champions at stake. Here, they left no doubt: Tundra dominated their final series with Secret, winning 3-0. In the first game, Tundra brought back skiter's fearsome Naga Siren and eventually built an untouchable lead. Game two brought a first — Tundra drafted Arc Warden for Nine, the hero's first appearance in a TI final. Secret looked very strong early on, but Tundra's cores came online and the soon-to-be-champions pulled ahead to end game two without even losing any barracks.
Game three presented a chance to forge a new legacy, and Tundra's players answered the call in spades. An out-of-nowhere pick of Medusa for skiter drew gasps, but Tundra's dominance came from all corners of the team. With that pick, plus 33's Beastmaster and Nine's Pangolier heavily bolstered by Saksa's favored Tiny and Sneyking's Mirana, Tundra was able to weather Secret's attacks before pulling away. They leveraged a near-teamwipe to push all the way to the Ancient for the victory and the sweep, securing the Aegis and their place in history.
As bearers of the ultimate symbol of victory, these names shall forever be inscribed upon the Aegis of Champions:
2022 - Tundra Esports
Oliver "skiter" Lepko
Leon "Nine" Kirilin
Neta "33" Shapira
Martin "Saksa" Sazdov
Wu "Sneyking" Jingjun
Looking Back If you missed any of the tournament, or just want to relive the incredible moments and plays, head over to the Dota 2 YouTube channel, where you can find replays of the entire tournament, including broadcast content from between the games. You can also find a stash of photos from the event over on the Dota 2 Instagram and Dota 2 flickr.
We would like to thank all of the players, talent, and everyone in the Dota community for helping bring this celebration to life. The International is the crowning moment of the competitive season, and without everyone’s support, none of this would be possible. We hope you enjoyed this year’s tournament as much as we did.
Celebrate the Champions Special Champion edition stickers are now available for Tundra Esports — and for skiter, Nine, 33, Saksa, and Sneyking. Check them out in the in-game Sticker Store.
