Warstone TD - Rurik


Hello there,

This update is not so big as the previous one. But it contains some new cool features. First of all, we have got a lot of feedback from players who like TD gameplay but don't like city part with the story, quests and etc. So we announce new option for these players, Auto City Mode. All quests, buildings, dialogues are completing automatically, so a player can play one battle after another. No clicks in the city. Pure TD. You can enable/disable it at any time in the menu.

We added 5 new survival modes for The Ordeal, At a Rest Stop, The Death Road, The Dark Forest, The Horrors of the Dark Forest missions. The last one is really tough, but a reward is valuable, 100 mithril. UPD. We blocked this mission for a while. Looks like it's broken. It will be available in a couple of days.



Improvements
We have also made some improvements in the UI and some skills
  • To make Auto City mode more comfortable we significantly decreased price of high level building like Crystal of Elements, The Order, Bastion and etc. So any player could build them right after they appear. We also increased rewards from campaign missions.
  • Units are summoned instantly before first wave starts
  • A notification window about new upgrades, spells now appears in the left corner with a small bar.
  • Improved double click in the Skill of Tree
  • Added a notification in the battle if server shut down. We hope you won't see this window :D
  • You can close the menu with Esc now
  • Life time of summoning troll (Marauder skill) was increased from 40 to 120 seconds
  • Slow stones skill was reworked. It affects 3/5/7 stones instead 2/3/4. Cooldown was reduced from 60 to 45 seconds

Finally, some people blamed us for Nechai missions and asked to cut them. We won't cut them, because they make the gamapley more diverse. But we tryed to do our best to make these missions more fun.

Nechai in Campaign mode
  • Damage has been increased from 10-14 to 12-15
  • Glaive throw damage has been increased from 50 to 85
  • Dissecting Blow damage has been increased from 25 to 40 and area by 20%
  • Rage duration has been increased by 20%
  • Maximum damage bonus from killing enemies has been increased from 15 to 35.

Nechai in Challenge and Survival modes
  • Damage is 19-27
  • Glaive Throw deals 145 damage. It also slows enemy by 50%.
  • Dissecting Blow damage deals 60 damage. It also decreases enemy armor by 5.
  • Rage. It gives 17% chance to do 300% damage
  • Teleport. It slows all enemies by 33% in the place where Nechai appears.
SuperuberMega upgrade also work on Nechai now, so you can make SuberUberNechai who could perform 500 damage attacks now :D
Actually, it cost 0 gold now. It will cost 500 in the next patch. Hurry up! :D

  • Fixed the bug with walking animations during cast of Betelgeuse
  • Unit under Transmutation spell is exploding now instead of dying

  • Fixed the bug when status of the Order and Ninja Hall will be lost and "Summon Inquisitor" will be displayed again
  • Avatar picture of Troll Bruiser is now correct

  • Fixed the visual bug at Skirmish and Heart of Corruption missions when the player could see red select circle on enemies
  • Fixed the bug when upgrades icons were blinking after each mission completion
  • Fixed some English texts in comics of Russian localisation

We have a dispute in our team. We are currently working on new feature for people who don't like a lot of clicks in the city.

We want to add a auto system which will automatically complete quests which requires building a construction, research an upgrade or speak with the old mage. So, with this feature player could play one battle after another. Pure TD game.

So, there comes a problem. Some of us want to remove story comics in the city with this feature as well, other thinks htey should remain in the city eve with this option.

What do you think about comics. Are they interesting? Should we remain them in auto system option?

Hello there,

We have worked on this update for a month. This is the hugest update since Warstone release in April. We have totally redesigned whole skill tree. Some of wold skills become stronger. And.... We added 28 new skills. See below for more info about skills.

We increased Lvl cap by 5 levels. We added survival modes for 8 missions: In the Vicinity of the Temple, The Two Mountains, The Forest of the Amazons, The Cliff, The Dwarven Shooting Range, Astral, Crossroads, I'll Find You.

We increased mithril rewards for Challenge and Survival mission from 10-15 to 20-35. It should resolve the problem with a lack of mithril. These missions also give a lot of usual resources, for example, you can get up to 450 wood, 550 gold and 200 exp for completion survival mode of Crossroads mission.

Spells of Firewall and Ancestor Help were removed from the story. They are unique Sorcerer spells now. Sphere of Lightnings has been replaced with new spell "Thunderstom". "Bet" spell has been replaced with "Gold Chains" spell.



Spells of Rune Items (Meteor Shower and Ancestor Help) were changed. Meteor Shower was replaced with Meteor (1 high damage meteor). Ancestor Help was replaced with Defender Spirit (+100% for 1 unit).

  • 1) Preparation skill rescaled from 15/30/50 to 15/35/75. SP cost from 1/1/1 sp to 1/1/2 sp

  • 3) Bet skill was replaced with Gold Chains. Stop enemies in the area. If unit dies during spell duration, it gives more gold reward.
    Level 1 Stuns for 3 seconds. Adds 1 gold to reward
    Level 2 Adds 2 gold to reward. Cooldown -25%
    Level 3 Stuns for 5 seconds.
  • 4) Credit skill rescaled from -20/-50/-100 to -40/-90/-150
  • 5) New skill. Bomb. The spell which uses gold instead of mana. Creating a bomb at the target place which explodes after 3 seconds
    Lvl 1 Deals 55 damage
    Lvl 2 Bomb contuses enemies slowing their movement speed by 50%. Damage +10
    Lvl 3 Bomb deals 90 damage. Cooldown -33%
  • 5) New skill. SuperUberMega. Allows to upgrade units using gold

    Level 3 Stuns for 5 seconds.
  • 4) Credit skill rescaled from -20/-50/-100 to -40/-90/-150
  • 5) New skill. Bomb. The spell which uses gold instead of mana. Creating a bomb at the target place which explodes after 3 seconds
