Summer is coming, and this means it’s time for a fresh look and a new paint for your tank!
 
After restart at 02:00 UTC on May 18th, 12 new paints will be added to the game. They won’t appear in the Garage or in the Shop -- you will be able to find them only in containers. The daring new designs will freeze each enemy and team player in their place staring at your new look, and the lucky owners of the new paints will become highlights of every battle!
 
So let’s welcome the new paints!

• 2000+ enemy tanks destroyed — 10 containers + 5 days of Premium + animated paint “Flow”.

 
Your current results you can track on the special site here. Kills are updated every 30 minutes, so if you don’t see your new kills right after battle, please check back later.
 
During the first hours after the event is launched, TOP-10 players list on the site will be empty, until 10 or more players destroy 400+ enemy tanks.
 
Players who complete the kill tiers within 48 hours of the event will be guaranteed to get the prizes detailed above.
Also, among all tankers who destroy 800 enemy tanks or more, we will run a special giveaway for 2 Dream Tanks, and you can read more the giveaway in the full rules.

From the list of all participants, who destroy 800 enemy tanks or more during Crazy Weekend, we will randomly choose 2 players. Both players will receive a Dream Tank -- any* turret, hull and protection module in the fully upgraded modification available at your rank.

Do you enjoy crushing enemies in team battles? Then we’ve got something new for you!
 
Today we’re very happy to announce partnership with the eSports platform ESL Play! This weekend ESL will launch a test series of tournaments in Tanki Online, and the first Cup begins 12:00 UTC on April 29th. All future matches will be played on Sundays till the end of May.
 
 
ESL Play is a popular platform for eSports tournaments, and it supports a lot of games and different levels of skill.
 
The first series of tournaments in Tanki will be held for players with the rank Brigadier and up, all the way to Legend. In the future, tournaments for medium ranks and lower ranks are also possible.
 
 
The tournament will be played in CTF 5x5 format, and to participate in the tournament you need to find the minimum of 5 players, create a team and register for the event.
 
To enter ESL tournaments, you and all of your teammates must register on the official site. Then one member of the team must create a new team on the site and send an invitation to the other teammates.
 
To participate in the tournament you must enter your in-game nickname in Tanki Online. To do that, open the tournament site, choose one of the tournaments in the list, and then enter your nickname in the right field.
 
When all players on your team add their nicknames, the team will be eligible to register in the tournament.
 
11:30 UTC on April 29th tournament registration will be closed, and all team captains must check-in and confirm that their team is ready to play in the tournament. For this, you captain must go to the tournament page and press on the blue “Confirm” button.
 
 
At 12:00 UTC tournament grid will be created, and all teams will be placed in random order. Now you must find your team in the bracket and press on the “VS” button to get all the info on the match and the map pick system.
 
When the map is decided, the team that is higher in the bracket will need to create a battle on the chosen map and post the link to it in the ESL chat for the match, which you can find at the bottom of the page. All battle settings can be found on the tournament info page.
 
 
Matches will consist of 2 rounds. At the end of each round both teams must take screenshots of the results with the final battle score.
 
Each round lasts for 15 minutes, 5 of which is dedicated to connecting and preparing for the battle. During preparation it is forbidden to destroy other players and to capture flags. When battle timer will show 10:12, all players must press on Delete and self-destruct.
 
If after 2 rounds the winners are not determined, an additional “tie-breaker” round will be played on the Sandal map. The rules for creating a tie-breaking battle are different from creating a regular battle and can be found on the tournament info page.
 
After the match ends, and regardless if you win or lose, you must upload screenshots of all rounds on the match page and confirm final battle score.
 
Here’s a short summary how the matches will be played:

• Second round (repeat 3, 4, 5)
• Tie-breaker (if necessary)
• Uploading screenshots, confirming the results

Development of Tanki Mobile is entering the mass-testing stage. And massive tests always required massive help from the tankers.

Today we open the applications for Tanki Online Mobile Test, which will start in the second half of May. Players with Android phones and tablets with Android version 4.4 or higher can participate in the test.
 
To submit an application for the test, you need to fill a special form, and you can go to the form by scanning the QR-code below with Android device. You can do that by using apps like QR Reader or with your phone’s camera app.
 

 
You must open the form directly on your Android device, or it won’t work.
 
In the form, you need to specify:

• Your in-game nickname;
• Your age;
• Email address, registered to your Android account.

 
After the start of the test we will begin sending out the invitations to emails submitted through the application form. In the invitation email you will find a link for downloading TO Mobile app and an invite-code.
 
IMPORTANT: Only a selected number of players will participate in the test. If you don’t get an invitation when the test starts, please wait until we invite more players later.
 
For participating in the test we’ve prepared a couple of rewards:

• Play Mobile version of Tanki for 10 hours and fill the feedback form -- 5 containers;
• Find, describe in detail and report a bug -- 1 container. Reward is given for each bug that is accepted. To get the reward, you must be the first to submit the bug.

With the morning restart on April 27th, a new update is coming to Tanki Online. As we’ve shared in the V-LOG 169, changes will affect the mechanics of mission chains and the length of regular, non-PRO battles.
 
 
As you remember, during New Year celebrations we’ve frozen the mission chains reset mechanic, so they won’t drop if you miss a day. We’ve seen a lot of players positively greet the change, and it’s because you can lose your chain for any number of reasons -- your internet goes down, power is out, your are enjoying a vacation, holidays, or, on very rare occasions, server maintenance.
 
Now, if you miss a day and don’t complete daily missions to progress your mission chain, you will NOT lose your chain progress! When you return to the game, your mission chain will be exactly where you left it. Complete the weekly chain when you want, and get the rewards!
 
Also after the release the maximum level of mission chains will be increased from 4 to 10.
 
Rewards for mission chains will also change. For example, on the Legend rank when you complete Week 4 you will get 4200 crystals, 28 repair kits, 84 of each other supply (except Gold Boxes) and 2 containers.
 
For completing Week 10 and all weeks after you will get the same rewards as for Week 4 in the old system, but with 1 big difference -- 1 more container (4 instead of 3)!
 
Later today mission chain rewards will be added to the Wiki, and you can check each set of rewards by week.
 
IMPORTANT: If you’re on the last level of the current mission chain (Week 4), then after the update you will remain on the same week -- Week 4. When you complete the weekly chain, you will get the rewards for Week 4 of the new system.
 
 
One more update that will be released with the morning restart will affect the length of battles. Now battles will be 10 minutes long, instead of 15. This will affect only regular, non-PRO battles and will be the next step in implementing the Matchmaking system.

And the best part is -- Gold Boxes dropped by players will also be meteorites!
