For the following weeks, from the 24th of June to the 11th of July, 2022 we will be running our Viking Event!

During this event we will be running limited-time events that will reward you with character clothes, skins and even GC!

Find the contracts and complete them as many times as you want to get the rewards. More information can be found HERE

During these events, by Streaming under Infestation: The New Z, you will have Drops Enabled automatically.
You can also watch streams and receive Skinboxes and some additional themed cosmetics!
Make sure you have your account linked to Twitch!

Fight to the top of the leaderboards and receive rewards at the end of the event!

You can also take this time to level up your character and get the full skill tree during the event whenever Double EXP is enabled

Get that money, be it in Arcade, Survival, Battle Royale or Competitive!

Game modes that have an endgame reward, like Battle Royale and Competitive will grant you double the rewards!

We will also be bringing back some additional cosmetics from the previous Viking Event during this event! They will NEVER be back again, though!

We will have a weekend where everyone will automatically have Premium on their accounts.

Now it's finally time to announce this year's Viking Event. A new Skinset, items, clothes, and more are coming with this event!
We are also bringing some minor fixes to the game with the patch.

The event will last for 17 days - from 24.06.2022 to 11.07.2022. We will bring all kinds of mini-events during this time such as Double Game Currency, Experience, Gold Coins, and more!

• Increased the damage of "Sword of the King".
  
• Fixed some spelling mistakes on the English localization.
  
• Fixed some spelling mistakes on some recipe descriptions.

• Fixed the Easter 2022 Egg armor, which had a material error.
  
• The speed of the radiation zone on Tropico has increased by 35%.

Hey Survivors,

We are going to try something new this weekend, like a challenge.
The challenge will be that you have to kill 50.000 Zombies in Arcade over the weekend and whoever reaches the goal, will get rewarded with 5.000.000 Game Dollars.

This is the first time we are doing such a challenge and numbers might get changed on the next one depending on feedback.

Note: The Game Dollars won't come automatically, this means it can take up to 1-2 days AFTER the event.

We hope everyone had a great week. Today we are going to start an event on the PVP servers which are inside the Arcade game mode.

All current PVP maps will have 2 perks enabled, High Jump and No Reload.
The default key for doing the high jump is V and I think we don't have to explain the no reload part, just make sure you have enough ammo in your backpack.

Springvalley will also be available with an extra speed-up 👀

A lot of Battle Royale players were asking if it would be possible maybe to get the previous reward skinboxes for a limited time and you know what? That sounds cool.
But that is not everything. We also bring the popular Sniper event back. Let me collapse all the info that is happening on this long weekend:

• You will have a chance of earning one of the previous skinboxes from the random premium drops or by winning a match.
  
• Sniper are everywhere but don't worry, melees and some pistols are there as well.

Hello everyone,

We are bringing a new Patch for Infestation: The New Z with some fixes and some new additions to the game, reworking existing vehicles and adding new ones.

• Added a new Truck to the game. It has 8 seats and it has 10 slots in the trunk for storing items.
  
• Added the Ambulance to the game. It has 4 seats and it has 12 slots in the trunk for storing items.
  
• Police, Sheriff Dragstar, and the Ambulance will have their horns sound.
  
• Reworked the Police Dragster.
  
• Reworked the Sheriff Dragster.

• Fixed a bug that caused vehicles to act weird when a player sat in the driver seat while passengers were inside.
  
• Fixed a bug with a sound that was caused by joining a server when someone nearby was in a vehicle.
  
• Fixed a desync of players sitting inside a vehicle after someone joins the server.
  
• Fixed a problem that caused players to appear sitting next to the vehicle after rejoining the server.
  
• Fixed a miscalculation of the gained XP in Battle Royale. The multiplier per minute did work properly.

We have made some changes to the names on the previously released contracts to make it easier to understand them. They will contain on the title what game modes, PVE/PVP, and if it's weapon restricted.
Here's an example:
Old: Weekend PVE AC Contract 1
New: [AC][PVE] Weekend Contract 1

We are also increasing the Account/Season XP gained from Weekend Contracts:

[AC][PVE] Weekend Contract 1: 700 -> 1400
[AC][PVE] Weekend Contract 2: 500 -> 1000
[AC][PVE] Weekend Contract 3: 600 -> 1200
[AC][AR][PVE] Weekend Contract 1: 300 -> 600
[AC][AR][PVE] Weekend Contract 2: 350 -> 750
[AC][AR][PVE] Weekend Contract 3: 470 -> 1050

We are also increasing the Currency Reward for a few contracts, as follows:

[AC][AR][PVP] Weekend Contract 4: 18.000 -> 31.000
[AC][AR][PVP] Weekend Contract 5: 28.000 -> 48.000
[AC][AR][PVP] Weekend Contract 6: 50.000 -> 75.000

• We are also bringing a lot of new contracts which will be released throughout this period.

FIXES

• Fixed the Alien IBA. It didn't glow like the other skins on the set.
  
• Easter 2022 Skinboxes and skins have been marked as Legacy.
  
• Easter 2022 Contracts and Mission items have also been marked as Legacy.
  
• Valentine 2022 Missions and Contracts will stop working starting on Patch 5.9
  
• Updated the Iraq Riot Shield.
  
• Updated the Saudi Arabia Riot Shield.
  We were made aware that since the Riot Shield contains the word Allah, it was considered offensive to followers of the religion to be shot. So we changed these two Riot Shields to remove the texts mentioning Allah on them.
  
• Fixed the eye on a character that would show the wrong texture.
  
• Fixed the PVP Map Contracts.
  
• Lowered the timer of Radiation Zone on Private Servers. You'd better hurry from now on.
