This weekend only all airdrop callers are on 20% discount.
Oregon Double Currency (OW + SURV)
Oregon Double Currency. All Orgegon maps in both the Survival and Open World game-mode will reward with double currency. (This is only for official servers)
Double Battle Royale Rewards (BR)
All rewards in the Battle Royale game-mode are doubled. This means that the tokens you gain, and the drops including skin boxes are doubled.
SpringValley PVP Map Rotation (PVP)
We have rotated the PVP Map Hospital for the SpringValley PVP map.

Easter 2020

Are you ready for Easter 2020? We are very excited to announce this event. We know a lot of you are currently at home because of the COVID-19 virus and therefor we have decided the event a little bit earlier than planned.

Before we jump into any event details let's make it clear over what period of time this event is taking place:

Start: April 8, 12:00 PM (CET) 2020.

End: April 20, 12:00 PM (CET) 2020.

Now, let's jump into the details of the event:

Double XP & GD:

During this Easter event there will be a Double XP & GD event. This Double XP & GD event will be separated per game-mode. This means that there is separate start and end dates per game-mode per type.

Survival - Double XP:
Start: Friday, April 10, 12:00 PM (CET)
End: Monday, April 13, 12:00 PM (CET)

Open World - Double GD:
Start: Friday, April 10, 12:00 PM (CET)
End: Monday, April 13, 12:00 PM (CET)

Open World- Double XP:
Start: Friday, April 17, 12:00 PM (CET)
End: Monday, April 20, 12:00 PM (CET)

Easter 2020 Content:

During the event we will release some new items. Here is a list and how to get them:

All the new content:
- Easter 2020 Box:
  Will be available in the in-game marketplace and findable in-game but very rare.
  
  This is the content of the box:
- Skins:
  The following will only be available from the Easter 2020 Box:
- Returning Skins:
  Skins from previous Easter events will not return.
- Sprays:
  The following will only be available from the Easter 2020 Box or directly from the in-game marketplace:
- Character Clothes:
  Will only be directly available through the character customize menu. (You can buy them there)
  Also, some character clothes will come back from previous years so keep an eye open in the selection.
- Items:
  The following items will be ONLY available during the event:
- Returning Items:
  And these items are returning from previous years:

Loot:

During the Easter 2020 event there will be advanced loot tables including all the items mentioned above spawning.
All of the loot mentioned above will be spawning in both game-modes. However, for Survival, chances will vary and not be the same as in the Open World game-mode.
This also includes:
- Easter themed zombies. (all game-modes) These zombies will drop Easter themed items.
- Easter type of loot will be dropped all over the maps. (all game-modes)

Easter 2020 Secret Spots:

Easter secret spots now spawn loot. Secret spots can be found in both the Survival and Open World game-mode and on maps such as Colorado V2, Colorado V1, Caliwood and Oregon. Please note that these spots were already patched in although didn't spawn dedicated Easter 2020 loot yet. The new Easter 2020 secret spots have a higher chance of spawning Easter related loot.

Easter 2020 Trading Lounge:

The Trading Lounge map has been updated to fit an Easter style. Enjoy!

Easter 2020 Contract:

During the Easter 2020 event we will release a new Easter 2020 contract. The contract will be available in both the Survival and Open World game-mode. You'll be able to get the contract by finding it in the game or by opening a Easter 2020 box. When activating any of the contracts you'll have to consume 100 chocolate bears. When this is done you'll receive 1 free Easter 2020 box.

Easter 2020 Giveaway:

We are also doing a giveaway again! This time we are doing a giveaway where we give away 10 Easter 2020 boxes to a random winner. The giveaway hasn't started yet and will be active during the following period of time:

Start: Friday, April 10, 12:00 PM (CET)
End: Monday, April 20, 12:00 PM (CET)

Winners will be drawn and emailed. This will happen after April 20, when the Easter event has ended.

Easter 2020 Seasonal Leaderboard:

The event leaderboard is back! This time the leaderboard will be active for the same date and times as the main event. That is:

Every top 5 player for each leaderboard will be rewarded with 1 free Easter 2020 box each.

Easter themed Menu & Game Launcher:

Specially for this event we have turned the main menu of the game into a Easter theme. There will be a different background to totally get you in the Easter mood.

Easter Weekend Login Reward

We will reward every player with a free Easter 2020 Box that logs in a certain period of time (Easter Weekend). Please note that we won't reward instantly but most likely the day after this period of time.

Weekend Event

It's time for another weekend event! This weekend we are releasing the "assassin mask" in both the Open World and Survival game-mode. Next to this there is a double XP event in all the official Oregon servers, mirror fields has the double speed feature enabled and we are doing another zombie loot upgrade event where normal zombies drop better and more loot.

Now, let's jump into further details about this weekend's weekend event:

Oregon Double XP (OW + SURV)
All official-only Oregon servers have double experience enabled. This means all experience gained while playing on these servers for this weekend only is doubled. This goes for both the Survival and Open World game-mode.
Assassin Mask Collect Event (OW + SURV)
During this weekend the never released assassin mask is spawning and so collectable in both the Open World and Survival game-mode. The mask spawns anywhere, even from zombies and super zombies but it has a rare chance to spawn. Collect as many as you can because the mask is only available for this weekend! We have also added the mask to the Battle Royale loot tables for the weekend only!
Mirror Fields Double Speed (PVP)
Double speed is enabled on all Mirror Fields PVP servers. This means players will be able to move twice as fast compared to how fast they normally move.
Zombie Loot Upgrade (OW + SURV)
For this weekend only zombie loot has been upgraded. This means that the chances for zombies dropping NO items have been decreased, and in both the Open World and Survival game-mode new temporary items have been added. Zombies will overall be worth to farm a lot more than outside of this event. Enjoy!

BONUS SALE: -30% DISCOUNT on 30(+) server rental days!
This weekend there is a 30% discount on the rental price for any private server rentals for 30 days or longer in all server regions. Please note that the discount is already applied in the price. Price is adjusted during weekend event period.

It's time for another weekend event and this time a bigger one than usual. We try to make every weekend event as unique and fun as possible and that is why we need your feedback. Have any? Make sure to let us know through this post or through social media!

For this weekend event we are introducing the new toilet paper item, that functions practically as a bandage. We hope you like this fun item and the event that we are doing with it. Next to that we have AR-ONLY Double XP, Double Token rewards in both Battle Royale and Competitive and Survival Colorado V1 FPS-Only server. Enjoy!

Now, let's jump into further details about this weekend's weekend event:

AR-ONLY Double XP (OW)
All AR-ONLY servers have the double XP feature activated. This means all experience gained in these servers will be doubled!
The Toilet Paper Event (OW+SURV+BR)
The recently added toilet paper item will be available for this weekend. This item will be spawning and available in both the Open World and Survival game-mode. Players can find toilet paper all around the maps.
Find and collect as much toilet paper as you can. The top 10 of players that have the most toilet paper collect at the time we roll out the next upcoming patch, patch 3.3, we will reward these (6 in total) players with the new Tech Skinbox for free!
Note that the toilet paper will only be spawning for this weekend only but players are still able to trade toilet paper with other players. Upon patch 3.3 (where we reward the winners) we will not wipe the toilet paper from anyone. Instead, you can wipe it yourself. Toilet paper can be used in the game as a healing item.
Next to all of this toilet paper is also spawning in the Battle Royale game-mode for this weekend only.
Double Token Rewards (COMP+BR)
For both the Competitive and Battle Royale game-mode all tokens that are gained during this weekend will be doubled. This means you will receive 2 times the amount of tokens you'd normally receive, when receiving tokens.
Survival FPS-ONLY (SURV)
One of the Colorado V1 servers in the Survival game-mode will be turned in to first-person-only. This means players can no longer change to the third-person view when playing on this server. (Please note that we didn't want to limit the Survival experience or harm it in any way so that is why we have chosen to do it on the second Colorado V1 server(s) in all regions.)

BONUS EVENT: Live Stream Event!
This weekend our community manager @ElChupacabra together with the Fredaikis partners is hosting a live stream Event. This means a lot of the partners and live streamers that are streaming on social media platforms such as Twitch and YouTube will be participating in this event. You'll be able to watch any of the streamers or @ElChupacabra himself. Community games for both the Battle Royale and Competitive game-modes will be played and awesome unique prizes can be won by you guys.

Patch 3.2

It's time for another update and this time a lot more aimed towards beginning players where we have added tutorial screens, more translations and more language support over all. Next to all of this we are patching in the new "Tech" skins with the Tech Skinbox. We are also rolling out this update to patch in content for the upcoming Easter 2020 event. More information about that event will be released in the near future.

For now, let's get in to the patch notes.

Overall Updates:

GENERAL:

Added various new content for the upcoming Easter 2020 event. Easter secret spots have been added to all maps. Please note that once again these spots are already showing in the game but won't be spawning any loot until the Easter 2020 event starts.
All the beginner missions that activate when joining the beginner training map are now translated in all available languages.
The in-game chat font has been updated to a different one that supports more languages including Chinese, Korean, Japanese, Thai and more. There will no longer be weird block icons showing when using characters from a specific language. If you still experience issues with writing your language in the in-game chat please let us know so we can work on this.
The character name allowance has been improved as well. We now allow characters to be created again with a lot more characters and letters from specific languages.
The Steam friends system is now integrated in to the game. This means you can now see and invite any of your Steam friends from the game to come and play with you.
Added a tutorial slideshow for new players. This screen can be accessed by pressing F1 in either the main menu or in-game. There is separate screens for the different game-modes and there is separate screens for in the menu and in the game. We have also localized these screens although we are not 100% finished with the translations and all the screens yet. More will be added in future updates.

GAMEPLAY:

Added an option to enable / disable the automatic equip of gear and attachments when picked up or attached.
Picking up a better helmet will no longer automatically switch the gas mask when a player is inside the radiation zone or when a night vision is enabled.

SERVERS:

Support for Oceania servers has been added. This means this is now a new region added in the game. There is no servers running in this new region just yet but there will be a later specific announcement about this.

Item & Skin Updates:

UPDATES:

Updated all Custom Guerilla Fallen Angel skins. We have reworked the wings just like we did on the Heavy Armor Fallen Angel skins. The wings look better, are in a better position and are more optimized.
Updated the skinbox icon for the Police Box. This box is legacy but the icon was never updated.
Updated the skinbox icon for the Halloween 2019 Box. This box is legacy but the icon was never updated.
Updated the skinbox icon for the Summer 2019 Box. This box is legacy but the icon was never updated.
Updated the skinbox icon for the Valentine 2020 Box. This box is legacy but the icon was never updated.
Updated the skinbox icon for the Winter 2019 Box. This box is legacy but the icon was never updated.
Updated the store icon and the recipe icon for the QBZ-95 Tech skin. This skin will also be added to the new Tech Skinbox.

FIXES:

Fixed the Heavy Armor Fallen Angel Chrome texture. The skin should now be properly chrome again.
Fixed the Heavy Armor BR Champion. It is now better rigged around the character and should fit any character better.
Fixed the Heavy Armor Fallen Angel Purple skin. The wings are now chrome again instead of white glowing.
Fixed the Heavy Armor Fallen Angel Desion skin. The wings are now chrome red-ish again instead of white glowing.
Rank skins now also apply to Battle Royale team wins.

Reworked the store icon for the VSS Vintorez (sniper) & it's skinned variants.
Reworked the store icon for the VSS Compact & it's skinned variants.
Reworked the store icon for the Honey Badger & it's skinned variants.
Reworked the store icon for the QLB & it's skinned variants.

FURTHER WEAPON STATS REWORK:
Continuing the guns rework, we have revisited prior changes we've made to SMGs and readjusted them to better serve their real purposes.
SMGs are made to be extremely powerful close combat weapons and they should not be strong at a high distance. The issue with their previous status is that, first of all, they had no pattern... Some were extremely strong at certain distances, while others were useless even at close range. Now, we've adjusted to make them at least a bit more logically similar (but not the same) as they all serve the same purpose.
Basically, we have adjusted damage, improved speed and spread while nerfing the damage distance on them. We also took into consideration each gun's fire-rate and clip size to make this fair. That way, they will adapt to your play style better and you will be inclined to use each one, depending on how you like playing (rushing and pre-firing, tap-shooting, waiting-and-shooting, spray-and-spray, etc...).

LMGs needed a rework as well, however this is very delicate. LMGs's current main purpose and use is for farming, especially for killing super/alien zombies so we had to tread carefully here.

We cannot lower their damage or it will affect their current main use, which we don't want to hinder.
We also can't make it too precise as they are extremely powerful for automatic weapons, with very high damage.
We shouldn't leave them stuck only for extremely close combat.

So with these three things in mind, we have added the Spread Variation System to it, where the more you shoot the more spread it has, with a fair limit to it, so it also doesn't go to the sky.

Future tweaks may occur on these weapons in the near future, but for now, enjoy their new stats and try them out!

ADDITIONS:

Added a new healing item: Toilet Paper. This item won't be available straight away but will be part of a future upcoming event. The toilet paper works just like a bandage, it has animations and can heal the player when being used.
A new skinbox has been added: Tech Skinbox.
A new skin for the Heavy Armor has been added: Heavy Armor Tech. This skin will be inside the Tech Skinbox.
A new skin for the IBA has been added: IBA Tech. This skin will be inside the Tech Skinbox.
A new skin for the IMI Tar-21 has been added: IMI Tar-21 Tech. This skin will be inside the Tech Skinbox.
A new skin for the M107 has been added: M107 Tech. This skin will be inside the Tech Skinbox.
A new skin for the K. Style NVG has been added: K. Style NVG Tech. This skin will be inside the Tech Skinbox.
A new skin for the K. Style Helmet has been added: K. Style Helmet Tech. This skin will be inside the Tech Skinbox.

Fixed a terrain issue in the north of area the city.

Battle Royale Updates:

GENERAL:

Improved the Battle Royale matchmaking system for faster games aka less queue time.
Reworked the Battle Royale queue UI screen.
Added a new option / button for Battle Royale players that want to play solo in a group Battle Royale game.
Decreased the Battle Royale game start-up time for less waiting for the players in the lobby.

ARIZONA V2:

Fixed some flying trees on the map.

Estimated patch size: Around 270-300 mb.

Patch ETA: Patch is rolling out as we speak.

Estimated downtime: Around 30 minutes to 1 hour.

Pre-patch notes might be changed if we need to fix / add something.

Weekend Event

For this weekend event we'll have it live the following period of time:

Now, let's jump into further details about this weekend's weekend event:

Battle Royale Zombie Loot Upgrade (BR)
Loot dropped by regular zombies in the Battle Royale game-mode is upgraded / better. This means they have a higher chance of dropping loot but also a higher chance of dropping better higher tiered loot. We have also added more and better items to the loot drops for the zombies.
Zombie Farming Weekend (OW + SURV)
In both the Survival and Open World game-mode drop chances for zombies have been buffed. The chance they don't drop anything has significantly been decreased meaning the chance is a lot higher they will always drop an item. We have also increased chances for better items and added some new items. This all for this weekend only.
Clearview Double Reputation (PVP)
All PVP servers (in the Open World game-mode) with the Clearview map now have the double reputation feature enabled. This means that any reputation gained will be doubled. This only goes for this map.
Super Zombies Camo Skinbox Drop Chance (OW + SURV)
In both the Open World and Survival game-mode super zombies have a chance on dropping a Camo Skinbox.

Patch 3.1

Here we are already at patch 3.1. We planned on releasing this update later, but due to some particular issues and improvements we have made to the game we decided to release the update earlier. We were also forced to roll out this update as soon as possible as there was a major issue related to the navigation regions for zombies. This caused not only corruption and crashes but also caused players to experience major performance issues and zombies behaving incorrectly.

Here's the notes for this patch:

Overall Updates:

GENERAL:

Fixed a crash related to VOIP. (VOIP is the in-game voice system)
Fixed a client-sided memory leak.

OPTIONS:

Added an option to adjust the sensitivity of weapon distance sounds. This option allows you to adjust the distance for weapon sounds (for example when you hear a weapon firing mostly).

GAMEPLAY:

Gear will now also auto-update if you pick up a better version than the gear you are currently wearing. This also goes for helmets.
Swapping weapons will now remember attached attachments. Here is an example: https://i.gyazo.com/c85091043d2df73db08b3f1b6eca2f17.mp4
Adjusted the auto-update backpack feature where you can now pick up backpacks even if your backpack is full, it will just put the backpack in your inventory. As long as the backpack is bigger, it will still auto-equip that backpack.
Logging in to a server with a unskinned item will no longer un-attach attachments upon auto skinning to your favorite skin.
Fixed a bug where grenades and other throwable items would not go to your quick slots when picking them up.
Fixed a bug causing the airdrop plane to stutter instead of flying through the air smoothly.

MODELS:

Fixed some texture/material related errors related to LOD versions of particular pine tree meshes.

VEHICLES:

Fixed a texture issue related to the Tuk Tuk vehicle where the inside of the front glass had an incorrect texture.
Fixed an issue related to the newly added (not released yet) 'racer' vehicle. This vehicle is still work in progress but planned to be added soon.

ZOMBIES:

The "Night Zombies" (which were work in progress) no longer spawn. These were never intended to spawn in the first place as it was still work in progress. You can recognize a "Night Zombie" because it has a very dark texture with glowing eyes. Night Zombies will be released when they're ready.
Fixed a bug causing zombies to run around (glitched) in a t-pose animation.
Fixed zombie aggro issues.
Fixed an issue related to zombies stacking up in groups causing huge performance drops.

Item & Skin Updates:

UPDATES:

Updated all (6) Heavy Armor Fallen Angel skins. We have reworked the wings, and moved them to a better spot so instead of them being attached to the shoulders they are now attached to the back of the armor. This was requested by the community in huge amounts. We have also optimized these skins better.

FIXES:

Fixed an issue related to a missing texture related to the AWP sniper rifle.
Fixed the Scimitar melee rotation in both FPS and TPS when holding this melee.

REWORKS:

Reworked the Heavy Armor store icons and all it's skinned variants.

IMPROVEMENTS:

Improved the inspect animation for previewing a karambit (melee) or any of it's skins.

Open World Updates:

Caliwood (OW):

Removed some of the player spawns in the south side of the map.

Battle Royale Updates:

GENERAL:

Fixed a bug where sometimes players would get kicked while reviving a team mate.
Fixed a bug causing the auto selection of group Battle Royale games to not work correctly when in a party.

Arena (BR):

Added radiation zones.

Tropico (BR):

Added radiation zones.

Airzona V2 (BR):

Added radiation zones.

Another weekend, another weekend event!

For this weekend event we'll have it live the following period of time:

START: March 13, 2020 12:00 PM (CET)

END: March 16, 2020 12:00 PM (CET)

Now, let's jump into further details about this weekend's weekend event:

Battle Royale Airdrop+ (BR)
Airdrop loot has significantly been improved for this weekend only. Normal items that are normally rare to drop from airdrops are now common. Airdrops have better loot and it's even more worth it to go for them this weekend!
Survival Double XP (SURV)
Only in the Survival game-mode all experience gained will be doubled. This will be for the period of this weekend event only.
Quickscope-only Rocky Ford PVP Server (PVP)
Ready to show off your skills? This weekend only we will enable a special Rocky Ford event server where you can ONLY do damage to other players by quick scoping them. This means that if you don't quick scope, you won't deal any damage.
Tactical Coin PVE Event (OW)
Normal, Epic and Legendary Tactical coins will have double the chance of spawning. This means the chance you find any of them is for this weekend twice as high! Tactical coins spawn from Toxic, Alien and Normal Super Zombies, Airdrops and can be found randomly through out the worlds. Please note that since tactical coins are only available in the Open World game-mode this event is only for the Open World game-mode.
