Fixed the external code execution technical vulnerability in World of Warships' replay tool. We thank those who brought the problem to our attention.
Fixed an issue because of which the FPS limit in battle was not removed in Update 0.11.4. This limit has now been removed for all players. If you want to set it manually, edit the
<maxFrameRate>
value in the preferences.xml file in the game folder.
Corrected the display of an outdated tech tree. The tech tree now matches Update 0.11.4.
Thanks to your feedback, it was discovered that after completing the relevant combat missions on the 0.11.5 Public Test, players received Commander Dasha only for the Tier I ship of her respective version's nation. The rewards have been changed, and now battles on each nation's Tier X ship will bring several Dasha Commanders with a specialization for that nation's Tier X ships. We thank you for your feedback and for bringing this issue to our attention.
Updated the routes and fixed a number of bugs in the Convoy battle type's interface.
Fixed an issue that caused submarines to be incorrectly positioned at the beginning of battles in the Standard Battle and Domination modes on some maps.
Fixed a number of issues on the maps Northern Waters, Shards, and Faroe Islands, as well as on Operation Narai's map.
Fixed an issue that caused the Division invitation window to move arbitrarily on the screen.
Fixed an issue that caused the markers for submarines' homing torpedoes to not be displayed on the minimap.

IMPORTANT! Because the update is still being tested, the information in this bulletin is tentative and reflects the state of game development at the time of its publication. Some changes and new features may be removed entirely or implemented differently by the time the update goes live. Screenshots, specific values of certain characteristics, and details of in-game mechanics will not necessarily be relevant after the update is released.
Please note: The rewards for activities on the Public Test Server may differ from those on the Live Server.
Military operations at sea didn't only involve duels between squadrons or air raids against enemy ships. In real life, a significant aspect of confrontations between navies involved defending or attacking cargo lanes used to transport strategically important cargo. During Update 0.10.8, you had an opportunity to participate in a separate battle type—Convoy—in which you had to either defend or destroy cargo ships. We've updated the rules and format, and Convoy is going to return in Update 0.11.5!
Format
[expand type=details] The battles will be fought in teams of 12 with Tier VIII–X ships.
Players can participate in Convoy playing submarines as well. The limit on the number of submarines is identical to Random Battles. [/expand]
Rules
[expand type=details] Two teams participate in each battle—one is tasked with escorting cargo ships, and the other is tasked with attacking them. Players are randomly distributed among the two teams.
The defending team needs to escort a convoy of AI-controlled cargo ships as they sail along a defined route. The defending team wins if at least one of the convoy ships reaches the destination point or the entire enemy team is destroyed. The mission of the attacking team is to completely destroy either the convoy or its defenders. [/expand]
Maps
[expand type=details] North, Hotspot, Trap, Two Brothers, Tears of the Desert, Haven, Crash Zone Alpha, Northern Waters.
The defending team needs to escort a total of six transport ships. Depending on the map, they are divided into convoys of two or three ships, and each convoy follows its own route. This means that you can expect two or three convoy routes with either the same destination or different ones. This change allows for new tactics for both teams and makes the gameplay more diverse. At the same time, we've reduced the number of Convoy ships respectively for each route so as not to complicate the task for the attacking team and to avoid performance issues in battle. [/expand]
Apart from changing the rules and format, we've also updated the interface and tactical hints in battle, as well as the Convoy rules in the battle mode selection window.
[expand style=more][/expand]
Updated U.S. Destroyer Models
We're starting to update the models of U.S. destroyers. In Update 0.11.5, the models of VII Mahan, VIII Benson, IX Fletcher, and X Gearing are going to be revamped. In Update 0.11.6, we're going to revamp the models of III Wickes, IV Clemson, V Nicholas, VI Farragut, and VII Sims.
The changes will slightly affect the aiming angles of torpedo tubes and main battery guns, anti-aircraft and anti-submarine defense composition, and the distribution of HP in different parts of the ships. The gameplay features of these ships will not change.
[expand style=more][/expand]
Faroe Islands
In autumn of 2021, players helped us choose the visual style for the new map. It has now passed through the final stages of preparation, and we're ready to introduce the new Faroe Islands map in Update 0.11.5!
Battles will take place among flowing mountains covered with a thin layer of snow and islands with steep shores. The map has been designed for battles involving Tier VII–X ships, as well as superships. It can be found in the Domination mode with three or four Key Areas.
You'll be able to check out the Faroe Islands map during the Public Test of Update 0.11.5!
[expand style=more][/expand]
Submarines
In Update 0.11.5, changes are going to be made to the matchmaker based on player feedback regarding submarines. The limit on the number of submarines and destroyers in a team will depend on the waiting time of the first player in the queue:
0–39 seconds: Four ships total; no more than four destroyers and two submarines.
40–89 seconds: Five ships total; no more than four destroyers and two submarines.
In case of longer waiting times for the first player, these limits will be less strict.
Other Changes
Changes to rental Commander management:
Rental Commanders can no longer be reassigned to different ships. Rental Commanders with specializations for different ships won't be shown in the Commander Replacement tab.
If a ship had several rental Commanders, only one of them with the highest number of skill points and most XP will remain. The rest of the rental Commanders will be removed from player accounts.
Transformers
During this new stage of our collaboration with Hasbro, the game will see the return of the Autobots and Decepticons, as well as other themed content. Apart from that, camouflages you're already familiar with will be added for the new ships: King of Primitives for VIII Richelieu, Lord of the Seekers for VIII August von Parseval, Superior for VIII Amalfi, Hot Racer for VIII Edinburgh, Freedom Fighter for IX Iowa, Gold Bug for IX Fletcher, Messenger of Oblivion for VIII Bismarck, Crush ’n’ Destroy for IX Tashkent.
[expand style=more][/expand] The Cybertronian container and Cybertronian Premium container contents will also be updated.

Clan Battles Season 17 kicks off during Update 0.11.4. It's named "Cayman." The cayman is a dangerous reptile that inhabits the swamps, rivers, and lakes of America. They are nocturnal predators that are often at the top of the food chain in their ecosystems. The trunk of the world tree was depicted as an upright cayman in Mesoamerican mythology.
Clan Battles offer an excellent opportunity to show off your skills in World of Warships. It's not only the results of individual battles that are important here but also general progress. Fight alongside your allies and rise to the top!
Just like in previous seasons, any player who fights in a Clan, Co-op, Ranked, or Random Battle playing a Tier VIII–X ship or supership will be given a set of three special Tier X ships for temporary use: X Gearing, X Yamato, and X Zaō.
Win Clan Battles to earn valuable rewards such as Steel, Coal, camouflages, special signals, Clan Tokens, and much more. The more victories you achieve, the more rewards you'll earn.
Starts:Wed. 25 May 13:30 CEST (UTC+2) Ends:Mon. 11 Jul. 05:30 CEST (UTC+2)
Format: 7 vs. 7 playing Tier X ships and superships.
Rewards: Up to 11,000 Steel and loads of other rewards.
Maps and modes: Sea of Fortune, Tears of the Desert, Mountain Range, Neighbors, Warrior's Path, Loop. Battles on all maps are fought in Domination mode.
[expand style=more][/expand] The following rules apply for all maps:
Number of Key Areas: 3
Capture time: 30 seconds
Scoring capture points: 3 points every 4 seconds
On the days of any update releases, Clan Battles are held only during the Prime Time of your server.
Restrictions on Ship Numbers
Just like in previous seasons, certain restrictions on the numbers of specific ships per team apply in Clan Battles.
The restrictions can be set for the entire duration of a season or for specific periods of time. For example, they might be set after the first 2 weeks of a season then replaced with different restrictions a few weeks later. This allows us to promptly react to the current state of the season.
Season 17 begins with the following restrictions:
Aircraft carriers are not allowed in battles.
You cannot enter battle playing X Petropavlovsk or X Kléber.
No more than one battleship per team.
No more than two superships per team.
No more than three mercenaries per Division.
These restrictions allow us to diversify the gameplay and increase the variability of setups in the season.
Aircraft carriers are not allowed in the current season. In future seasons, however, carriers will take their rightful place in Clan Battles again.
During the season, based on statistics, new restrictions may be added and existing restrictions may be changed. We will announce the changes separately on our Development Blog. Information about any changes will also be available in the game client.
Rewards
Detailed information about the completion criteria and rewards can be found in the game client.
As an experiment for a single chain of combat missions, we've decided to let players in the Storm League choose their own reward—either 30 days of Warships Premium Account or 15,000 Coal.
You can choose your reward under the Combat Missions tab. If no reward is selected, the first suggested reward—30 days of Warships Premium Account—will automatically be credited after the mission chain is completed.

These new ships have found their places alongside the first branch of French cruisers. The main feature of the new ships is their large-caliber guns (relative to the ship type) mounted on their bows. They reload slowly, but this is compensated for by the Main Battery Reload Booster consumable.
Cruisers are capable of achieving high speeds with the help of the improved "French-specific" Engine Boost consumable. The ships' armor does a great job in protecting their citadels against medium-caliber AP shells, but the new cruisers are quite vulnerable against HE and SAP shells. Medium and long ranges are optimal for engagements, but with the help of their 139 mm secondary battery guns with improved accuracy, the new ships can also show their worth in close-range encounters.
