Meet Roma, a Tier VIII battleship from Italy. Bundles with this Premium ship are now available in the shop.
Roma is a Vittorio Veneto-class battleship. She carried powerful main battery guns for a ship of her size, was protected by reliable side armor, and had good torpedo protection. However, the ship did not have good AA capabilities to efficiently counteract airstrikes.
In battles, you will be seriously damaging enemy cruisers and battleships with armor-piercing shells while avoiding many of their retaliatory salvos, even torpedoes. If torpedoes do manage to hit your ship, the damage won't be as high. Moreover, thanks to Roma's low hull and superstructure height, her concealment capabilities will allow you to strike first and from a comfortable distance before being detected.
A special camouflage was designed by Makoto Kobayashi, the renowned artist who opened new horizons in the mecha genre.

New Camera in the Port You can now view your ships in the Port from new perspectives. Examine in detail the main and secondary guns, AA batteries, torpedo tubes, and deck aircraft to feel the grandeur of these steel giants! Take beautiful panoramic shots of your ships while fully zoomed out; or check out the elegant outlines using the top-down view.
Training Rooms In order to prepare for fierce combat against other players, you will now have the opportunity to create training battles. If you've already made it to Account Level 15 in your Service Record, you're very welcome to try the new feature." In a Training Room, a whole set of configurable parameters are available to you. These range from the number of participants, ship types, and nationalities to maps and even weather conditions. Once you've created a Training Room, you can distribute up to 12 players to each team, or train on your own.
No need to worry about the economy! In training battles, you don't use up your ammo or consumables, nor will you have to pay for the post-battle service of your ship. However, training battles won't bring you any credits, either.
High School Fleet We have added a new collection and camo patterns dedicated to High School Fleet. You’ll be able to apply new camo patterns on your Musashi, Yamato, and HSF Harekaze, assign four new Commanders to your ships, and complete a collection comprising 35 items with brief descriptions of characters from the anime.
Distinctive Insignia The new update allows you to stand out by using all sorts of colorful distinctive insignia to create your own one-of-a-kind insignias. Your insignias will be visible to other Commanders in your profile, and in certain in-battle situations (e.g., after you've destroyed their ships). Patches feature a symbol against a background and can be obtained by completing combat missions. Patches may be combined with each other. Emblems will be granted for certain in-game achievements.
Co-op Matchmaker Changes In Update 0.7.0, we've made further enhancements to the way the matchmaker works in Co-op. Now you can encounter bot-operated aircraft carriers and battleships in battle, even if no ships of these types are helmed by real players.
These changes are intended to make Co-op Battles more interesting. You will also be able to test your skills in encounters against more versatile enemy team setups.
