Try a new Operation for tier VII ships where you break a well-protected enemy defense line, close in on their base, and support the landing of troops, all while sending enemy ships to the bottom!
There are two ways to complete the Operation: defend the troops until they complete the landing, or destroy all enemy combat units. Tailor your decision to your team's lineup and playstyle.
New Port
Check out the Hamburg Port, created using real historical images. This will become the new default for everyone with the next update.
New Campaigns and Collections
The update brings two new campaigns. The first one, named "The Battle of the North Cape", is dedicated to the historical battle which occurred on 26 December 1943, as part of the Arctic Campaign. Each mission of this campaign relates to a certain stage of the said battle.
The second campaign is dedicated to the New Year celebration. Players will be rewarded with various items from the new collection, inspired by the Battle of the North Cape for finishing both campaigns. Such items will include ship elements, photographs, badges, and coats of arms.
New Year Ship's Horns
New Years celebrations are fast approaching and what better way to ring in 2018 than with unique ship horns! All the ships in the game are now able to sound their very own unique horn. Each ship type has its own horn, and their reach depends on your distance to other ships: it’s loudest at a distance of 1-2km, and quietest at the distance of 5-6km. You will hear the enemy ships' sound signals if these ships are detected by you or your allies. Using binocular view also affects the volume of the ship’s whistle.
