After the update on August 1st, a new feature “Dispatch Quests” will become available! Onmyoji can assign multiple Shikigami to complete a dispatch quest. Dispatch quests have different ranks. The higher the rank, the better the reward. The result of the Dispatch differs according to the Shikigami sent out. The better the results, the better the reward.

Note:
- Completing a dispatch quest requires AP and time. The higher the player’s level, the more quests you can take on simultaneously and higher the rank of the quests.
- Hints will be provided when tackling a quest. Players sending out the correct Shikigami will have a better chance of achieving a better result. Also, evolved Shikigami and high-level Shikigami also increases the chance of achieving a better result.
- Shikigami sent on a dispatch quest cannot be released or participate in other dispatch quests until they return, but can be used in battle as normal. It is also possible to force your Shikigami to return, in this case, the dispatch will be deemed a failure and used AP will not be recovered.

During the event, players can use coins, jades, medals, etc. in exchange for items in Fortune Temple. Each item can only be purchased once per day and the quota resets on 0:00 EST. The type of items available will refresh every 3 days.

The following shikigami skills have been adjusted:

1). SR shikigami Chin\'s skill adjustments:
No changes have been made to the feathers she shoots or the mechanics related to the Poison her skills inflict.

Her second skill, Poisonous Beauty, has been changed as follows:
Swiftly shoots a batch of feathers at all enemies, inflicting 2 layers of Poisonous Feathers on them. The enemy takes indirect damage equal to 1%/3%/6%/10%/15% (based on the layers of Poisonous Feathers it has) of its max HP at the beginning of its turn, to a maximum of 280% of Chin's ATK. Poisonous Feathers stack up to 5 layers and are reduced by 1 layer when the target takes poison damage.

Skill effects after level up:
Lv. 2: Increases indirect damage from Poisonous Feathers by 50%.
Lv. 3: Each layer of Poisonous Feathers on an enemy causes the indirect damage inflicted by Chin to ignore an extra 50 DEF when it's dealt to the enemy.
Lv. 4: Increases indirect damage from Poisonous Feathers by 50%.
Lv. 5 Any enemy with 5 layers of Poisonous Feathers takes damage equal to 30% of its max HP immediately when inflicted with Poisonous Feathers, to a maximum of 280% of Chin's ATK.
No changes have been made to the effect after her evolution: Inflicts 1 layer of Poisonous Feathers on the attacker when Chin is attacked.

Her third skill, Poison Erosion, has now been changed as follows:
Chin releases the toxins in her feathers to wreak vengeance on 1 enemy, dealing damage equal to 175% of her ATK and igniting all of Chin's feathers on the enemy, dealing an extra indirect damage equal to 35% x Poisonous Feathers layer count.
Skill effects after level up:
Lv. 2: All damage from the skill increases by 5%.
Lv. 3: All damage from the skill increases by 5%.
Lv. 4: All damage from the skill increases by 5%.
Lv. 5: All damage from the skill increases by 5%.
Also, Chin's skill using AI has been optimized in auto mode.

Designer's comments:
After a period of observation and collection of statistics, we found that Chin's ability to deal a lot of damage has declined to some extent since indirect damage was adjusted. The main reason behind this is that the poison damage from Chin's feathers was decreased after the update, while her Poison Erosion, which players used less often, is still not being used effectively.

We hope to make Chin a mid-ranged damage-dealing shikigami whose expertise lies in dealing indirect damage. First, we increased her feathers' ability to deal high damage in this adjustment, adding an effect that allows her to ignore Defense. In addition, we removed the ability to deal direct damage from Poisonous Beauty, making the skill focus mainly on inflicting feathers and Poison debuffs. In this way, we improved Chin's ability to deal large amounts of damage. We also changed the damage type of part of the explosive damage dealt by Poison Erosion into indirect damage. This allows players to make consistent decisions when configuring her stats and choosing Souls for her. Again, we tried to make a single-target damage-dealing shikigami with the ability to deal explosive indirect damage. Now that we have changed the level up effects of her Poison Erosion from increasing the direct skill damage by 5% to increasing all damage (including indirect damage) from the skill by 5% (though we decreased the rate of damage from Poison Erosion by a fairly small percentage), Chin now has another build that allows her to deal damage mainly by using her Poison Erosion.

2). Medicine Seller's skill effects have been adjusted as follows:
His second skill, Truth and Reasoning, has now been changed as follows:
After an enemy takes an action, Medicine Seller has a 40% (50% after his evolution) chance of observing the identity of the target and inflicting a Scale mark on them. Scale can be inflicted onto up to 3 targets and cannot be dispelled. When Medicine Seller attacks a target with a Scale mark, each Scale mark increases his damage by 33%. Target with 1/2/3 Scale marks are revealed by Medicine Seller when their HP drops below 30%/40%/60%. Revealed state lasts 2 turns. Multiple Medicine Sellers do not cause the effect to stack.
In addition, Scale marks can now be inflicted onto Ushi no Toki's straw doll.

His third skill, Defense, has now been changed as follows:
Medicine Seller releases his sword and transforms into his inner self to attack a target, dealing damage equal to 263% of his ATK. Inflicts a Scale mark on the target if it's not KO'd by the attack. For a revealed target, damage (to a maximum of 600% of Medicine Seller's ATK) equal to their remaining HP is inflicted instead. The damage cannot be shared, transferred, or absorbed and ignores target's soul effects and passive skills.

Designer's comments:
The chance of Defense inflicting a Scale mark on the enemy has been increased from 75% to 100%. With this improvement, we hope to allow Medicine Seller to be more active when selecting his target while making the skill more stable.
The damage from Defense has been increased from 500% of Medicine Seller's Attack to 600% of his Attack. With this improvement, we hope to give him more stability when he tries to KO a revealed target.

We increased the damage inflicted on the target by Medicine Seller with Scale mark, hoping to allow him to deal a significant amount of damage even without the help of other powerful damage-dealing shikigami. The Critical Hit Rate and Critical Damage should also have an important impact on the battlefield in certain cases. Please note when using Defense to attack a revealed target that the damage dealt will not exceed 600% of Medicine Seller's Attack.

3). Adjustments to Ibaraki Doji's Black Flame and Rage Outlet:
Effect removed from Black Flame: Has a 30% chance of increasing the damage the enemy takes by 20% for 2 turns.

Effect added to Rage Outlet: When Ibaraki Doji's attack fails to KO an enemy, he gains a layer of Enraged Arm, increasing his damage by 33%. Enraged Arm stacks up to 3 layers.

4). Kamaitachi's United and Aoandon's Lantern Support can now be triggered even when they're under controlling effects of Freeze, Sleep, etc.

5). When the soul set effect is triggered for a Kamaitachi equipped with a Scarlet soul set, the passive skill United will not trigger again. Also, when Scarlet's counter attack is triggered on a monster who has the soul set effect of Scarlet and Soultaker, its Soultaker will not trigger.

How to play:

-During the event, players who complete the specific mission will receive friendship medals.

Heian-Kyo is preparing itself for the annual Fireworks Festival. Under the evening sky by the riverside are crowds of people, many in their traditional Yukata, waiting for the fireworks show to start. Suddenly, the quiet water starts to bubble violently, a giant figure rises slowly from the river...

It is the Boss Ebisu! Ebisu has brought with him plenty of presents for the Fireworks Festival!

How to play:

- During the event, all players around the world can challenge the Boss, which can be found at Sumida River, near Asakusa Temple and Tokyo Skytree.
- Players can find the Boss through [Guild] → [Map], paper doll in the Courtyard or the event banner. Tap on the boss to challenge him!
- Challenging the Boss will spend challenge times. By default, every player has 3 challenge times.
- 1 challenge time is recovered per hour. The stackable limit of challenge times is 3.

6. The amount of birds used when Hana tries to negate Enma's Spirit Crush and Mimic's controlling effect is now corrected.

7 Fixed an issue that prevented the game from showing the damage to enemies when rotating the view while Yao Bikuni uses Starlight Shower.

8. Improvements to Enenra's Ghostly Shield: After evolution, the effect of having the smoke ghost eating the target is now triggered when Enenra attacks rather than when dealing damage. After this improvement, the effect can be triggered even when Enenra's damage is absorbed.

9. Fixed an issued that caused a revived ally, after being revived by Momo, to be connected to Shuzu's Water Circuit automatically when the opposing Lord Arakawa swallows the Water Circuit's effect from Shuzu on another connected ally.

10. Fixed issues that prevented Mannendake from launching counter attacks when being attacked by units affected by Afterlife, and when being attacked by the Nagas in the Secret Zone (Speed/Strategy).

11. The debuff from Warrior Soul's Soul Slash is now separated into two independent debuffs (Heal Down and Effect HIT Down). Fixed the description of Soul Slash's cooldown duration. The actual cooldown duration is 2 turns.

The "Showdown Bidding" comes back! A new game will start every two hours. There will be two sides: Red and Blue. Each side will be outfitted with a lineup of Shikigami. After viewing the lineup, players will be given an opportunity to place bets on which side they think will be victorious. The battle will then be fought automatically. After the battle, a replay will be made available for those who wish to watch. The victorious side will then be given rewards.

Besides, this time you have the chance to win more rewards! (Comeback Rewards and High-stake Rewards)

To reward players who have an eye for spotting winners, players who bid on the third to fifth grade will receive extra Comeback Rewards if the lineup with less support wins the showdown!

Every year, Itsumade grows a golden feather, attracting the greedy humans who would use whatever means necessary to take possession of it. After the update, SR Itsumade can be summoned by using Mystery Amulets, AR Amulets, or Jade.

"I told you from the beginning, didn't I? These resplendent feathers are lethal." Chin is rumored to be a deadly poisonous bird with green feathers that feed on snakes. Its resplendent appearance is a warning to others of how dangerous it is. Other spirits don’t dare to come close, leaving Chin alone by itself. After the update, SR Itsumade can be summoned by using Mystery Amulets, AR Amulets, or Jade.

During the event, players have a chance of obtaining Evo Drop, Soul Drop, EXP and Coin bonuses after battling in Exploration Zone, Soul Zone or Evo Zone.


In a dark cave near Mt. Gloom, a demon spider lives within. Once it catches a glimpse of its prey, it will pull them into the cave. The cry of children often echoes from deep within the cave. Is it from those fallen prey to Tsuchigumo, or…?

The new Demon Encounter BOSS - Poisonous Tsuchigumo is coming!

After the update, the new BOSS Tsuchigumo will have a chance to appear in Demon Encounter. After a player discovers Tuschigumo, there will be 3 to 5 minutes for other players to assemble and prepare for battle. Players cannot join the battle once it has begun. If Tuschigumo is not defeated within 60 minutes, the boss will run away. The difficulty of Tsuchigumo depends on the number of players participating in the battle. However, low-level players will not affect the difficulty.

Tsuchigumo gains Rage each turn, increasing its ATK by 8%. Destroying body parts of Tsuchigumo will inflict different kinds of debuff upon it, effectively weakening this BOSS. After Tsuchigumo sustains a certain amount of damage, it will summon a bunch of spiderlings (up to a maximum of five times) for help. A paper doll also has a chance to appear. After successfully defeating Tsuchigumo, players will receive a rating of up to S depending on their performance during the battle.


The battle rages on, blood has been spilled and there is no turning back.

Holding the shards of the Sword of Kusanagi in her hand, Kagura is the key to this battle. On the edge of her soul collapsing, the forgotten memories of her sorrow past are slowly piecing together…

Recently we optimized the Auto Challenge function, which evoked wide discussion in the community.

The Auto Challenge function was introduced in the update on April 18th. And, at that time we also announced that the Auto Challenge mode, especially for solo battle, would last for 1 month. (See the fifth point from this announcement: Optimization of AR Amulet Summon and Steam Achievement Unlocked | Updates on April 18th from 2:00 - 5:00 (EST))

After observing the game data for one month, we found the Auto Challenge function influenced social activeness in the game. Players no longer teamed up for combat or had group chats as often as before, which did harm to the game’s social ecosystem.

In order to maintain our players’ game experience as well as preserve a positive environment for all, we made adjustments to Auto Challenge in the May 23rd update.

An ideal Auto Challenge is to let the player enjoy the game better with the help of the paper doll, but not to make them lose all sense of participation. We will work on how to balance the Auto Challenge function within the game.

At the same time, suggestions on how to improve the current Auto Challenge are welcomed. You can leave your constructive advice in the community or directly contact us. We sincerely appreciate all your feedback and we will do our best to improve every player’s gameplay experience.
