You can now achieve amazing things with your NosTale family. We’ve given the family system a major overhaul, allowing you to earn epic rewards for fighting together with your kin!

Coming new to NosTale, you’ll find family missions, achievements and rewards, plus a reworked family rankings system.
Read about all the details and which changes and adventures you can look forward to you on your next family outing:

The maximum family level will be increased from 10 to 20.

Completing family missions allows you to unlock achievements for your family and increase your family level.

As your family progresses, you’ll unlock missions for you to complete. Some of these are daily missions, others monthly. For example, you may need to complete a certain raid 5 times, or complete 10 Instant Combats.

Your family earns rewards for completing missions and achievements. There are four types of reward:

• Increase the XP you earn or unlock benefits for Glacernon (Act 4), amongst other things.
  
• This applies to all family members, but some skills also help all players of your faction.
  
• Applies for one month.
  
• Can be used by Family Head or Family Deputy once per day.

• These include, for example, increasing attack and defence power by up to 10%, or increasing the effectiveness of food/potions by up to 15%. You can also increase the number of family members (up to 100) or the size of your family warehouse (up to 49 slots).
  
• Applies to all family members.
  
• Permanent effect.
  
• Can be purchased by the Family Head from Family Manager Salim for gold.

• By fulfilling daily missions and achievements you receive family experience, labelled as FXP.
  
• These points allow you to improve your family and climb the rankings.

• The most valuable things for players are the ‘emblems’ which are displayed next to the family name (these are only rewarded to the top-ranked families in the three monthly rankings).

There are three different monthly rankings. The top-placed family of each will be rewarded with family emblems and other prizes.

• Monthly FXP Rankings
  Win this ranking by having earned more FXP than any other family.
  
• Monthly Family Rankings (Angels)
  Win this ranking by earning more PvP points than any other family in the Angel faction in Glacernon (Act 4).
  
• Monthly Family Rankings (Demons)
  Win this ranking by earning more PvP points than any other family in the Demon faction in Glacernon (Act 4).

Note: At the moment all top-ranked families receive a debuff designed to prevent them from monopolising the top spot as a result of all their bonus effects and skills. This debuff gets stronger month by month (up to 30% after 3 months).

• Each player can earn ‘action points’ for playing raids and similar activities. In the family info, these indicate which players have been most active. But don’t confuse action points for FXP – only FXP allows you to level up your family.
  
• Members can earn action points for completing Instant Combats, raids, killing family raid bosses and for PvP points in Glacernon (Act 4).

Here’s how to stop the March Hare:

• By defeating monsters you can pick up the Mad March Hare Raid Seal which you allows you to enter the raid.
  
• Enter the raid from the Chicken Farm Path and join other adventurers in combat against the Mad March Hare.

• The boss has an array of eggs in his arsenal. Dodge them and watch out for Rotten Egg Bombs, Eggy Bombs and Crazy Egg Bombs – you’ll need to interact with some of them!
  
• Give the Mad March Hare a boot down the burrow, and you can pick up some juicy rewards!

Rewards
As soon as you’ve completed the raid, you’ll receive a raid box which may contain the following items amongst others:

• Mad March Hare Specialist Partner Card (for ranged partners)
  
  
  
  
• Easter Bunny Hat + Easter Bunny Costume (3 Days/7 Days). The permanent version of the costume is available in the NosMall.
  
  
  
  
• Egg-Shaped Chest
  
• And more Easter items!

Amongst other items, you may find the following in the Egg-Shaped Chest:

• Easter Bunny Party Hat + Easter Bunny Party Costume (3 Days/7 Days). The permanent version of the costume is available in the NosMall.
  
• 3x Mad March Hare Raid Seal

The NosMall is also decked out for Easter! Between 11 AM CEST on 3rd April and 11 AM CEST on 24th April, you’ll have the chance to pick up the new Easter Bunny Party Costumes and Easter Bunny Costume Sets on the NosWheel!

You heave the Normal Treasure Chest onto the table with a loud thump, producing a fine cloud of dust. Rummaging through your knapsack, you eventually find one of the Treasure Chest Skeleton Keys which you’ve been able to collect for free every day this week since reaching level 40.

You blow the remaining dust from the lock, and notice a small scroll of parchment attached to it. The paper crinkles as you unroll it.

You read:
‘So you found this treasure chest and have earned enough experience to receive a Treasure Chest Skeleton Key every day, absolutely free!’
A shiver runs down your spine… how could the author know that? You look behind you, but there’s no one in sight.

‘Oi, pay attention!’

What on earth? You flip and turn the parchment, but can’t see anything unusual.

‘Close your mouth, you look like a trout. I’ll let you into a little secret: I’ve hidden a ton of different Treasure Chests: Normal, Rare and Legendary. You can collect them by defeating monsters or from raids and Instant Combats.
