Voice Chat
You now have the ability to communicate over voice with your teammates while connected to a shared server! In this release, voice chat automatically starts when you’ve connected to a server. This is the first release of this feature, and we’re anticipating that some players might run into trouble with it. Please report any and all issues with the new release in our Technical Support thread on the forums!
Multiplayer UI Changes
We’ve updated a bit of the UI having to do with multiplayer and customization. Everything should look and feel a little more cohesive!
Bug fixes
Our development team has been hard at work chasing down bugs and optimizing the game’s code. Hopefully this will result in an overall more pleasant gameplay experience for you all!
In this release we've added a few new things that we're excited to share.
Player Avatar You can now upload an avatar to represent yourself in NITE Team 4. You can also select which of your available titles you'd like to display with your avatar.
News Stream Live We've implemented the much beloved News Stream Live mission from our Alpha client into the beta client as "Operation Dragon Scale". Play or replay it now!
XKEYSCORE Document Update We've added a context menu for files uncovered in the XKEYSCORE module, so you can more easily open them in a new window or add them to your active case file.
Notes from 0.10.1
We didn't do an official set of patch notes for 0.10.1, but there were some pretty big changes. First, we made some big adjustments to the UI that we hope you will all find intuitive and satisfying. But more excitingly, NITE Team 4 is now multiplayer. You can hear Anashel discussing the changes from our previous patch and see him showcase some of these functionalities in this announcement video!
What's Next?
Next week, we're aiming to add News Stream Live parts 2 and 3 into the beta client, as well as a voice chat function.
For the end of April we hope to be able to include three new modules:
Email phishing attacks
Active Directory support
Hash interception and password bruteforcing for credential escalation
As always, thank you all so much for your continued support and enthusiasm!
We have just updated the Closed Beta branch on steam and want to share with you the new modules and features available for testing!
The new mission center is now unlocked with your first mission from GCHQ, the United Kingdom’s Intelligence Agency. The mission includes 4 objectives and one optional task.
We have also introduced a new briefing mechanic with much more lore and storytelling content, to help you get immersed in the life of a special agent.
Optional tasks come with choices and consequences which affect your reputation with the other intelligence agencies. Hide intel, save undercover agents lives or expose them for the kill; your actions will shape the storyline and unlock new content.
Data Forensics has been upgraded with a new SCP / SSH module. Infiltrate computers and browse files and folders for key information, or remove the evidence of your hack.
The mission is available now and will reset every time you close the game. You cannot permanently gain or lose reputation for now. Version 0.9 does not come with any tutorial, and the new mission will require familiarity and understanding of the Stinger OS.
As always, you can reach us on Discord or in the forums. We are grateful for your support and hope you enjoy the ever-evolving Black Watchmen universe!

Independent sources at our Chitose offices have confirmed rumors of an important underground shipment about to depart from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky Commercial Sea Port in the next 24 to 72 hours.
Track all intel that you can find about this shipment and send a complete report to central command.
